Tom Homan pushes Border Patrol out of Minneapolis in sweeping shake-up as Trump's 'little Napoleon' Greg Bovino faces humiliating exit
Border Patrol commander Gregory Bovino - dubbed 'little Napoleon' - has been ordered to leave Minneapolis in a major shakeup initiated by Tom Homan.
Donald Trump sidelined Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem on Monday, dispatching Border Czar Homan, an ICE veteran, to take charge of the deteriorating crisis in Minnesota after a protester was shot dead on Saturday.
Homan is expected to hold a press conference later today where Bovino's departure, along with that of hundreds of his agents, will be announced.
The decision is aimed at de-escalating the violence between federal agents and rioters which exploded on Saturday after the killing of Alex Pretti, a 37-year-old ICU nurse.
Bovino, the controversial face of Trump's crackdown and a close ally of Noem, sparked fury in the White House when he claimed Pretti intended to 'massacre' federal agents.
Trump spent hours on Sunday and Monday watching cable news coverage and was unsettled by how the administration was being portrayed, one official told CNN.
Noem branded the ICU nurse a 'domestic terrorist' and claimed he brandished a firearm, sparking further frustration among administration officials.
White House Press Secretary Karoline Leavitt distanced Trump from Noem's language on Monday, arguing that it was not a position that the President had taken.
Bovino is a loyalist to Noem and her rumored lover Corey Lewandowski, and both have quietly pushed him as a potential replacement for current Border Patrol chief Rodney Scott, a longtime ally of Homan.
Noem has sought to sideline Scott by having Bovino report directly to her, an unprecedented move within the agency.
Bovino's removal from Minneapolis underscores Noem's fading standing with the White House as Trump dispatches Homan and his closest allies to seize control of the operation on the ground.
A Border Patrol veteran of 30 years, Bovino was selected last year from his role as chief patrol agent of the agency's El Centro sector in Southern California to lead highly publicized immigration crackdowns across the country.

They know this equals war, Chatham House has directed it's Iranian proxies to do this.
Iran's state media has blasted the Trump administration as hypocritical, drawing a direct comparison between the recent protests inside the Islamic Republic and the ongoing unrest ignited by the controversial ICE shootings in Minneapolis.
Iran has seized on the latest fatal shooting of Alex Prettio, arguing that President Trump has no moral standing to condemn how Iranian authorities have handled its own nationwide demonstrations, which were triggered by economic strain and a collapsing currency after years of US-imposed sanctions.
State-backed Press TV pointed to Trump's earlier public call for Iranians to rise up and take to the streets while pointing to the current Minneapolis demonstrations as "instant karma".
Newsweek observed several fresh broadcasts from Iranian outlets drawing on the comparison:
While these protests were largely peaceful, Iranian state news channel Press TV dedicated a segment in which it presented them as the latest iteration of the anger at the actions of ICE.
The presenter on Press TV, Roya Pour Bagher, referred to social media posts by Americans expressing outrage at the killing, and described "growing fears of an imminent civil conflict—yes a civil war in the United States."
In a separate clip, Bagher said that footage of Pretti’s killing clearly showed he did not pose a threat to anyone, adding that more protests could help stop the killings.
This has been the theme across pro-Tehran social media as well:
Iran’s state TV channel Press TV: "Calls on social media demanding Trump’s removal before the US is pushed into the unknown are growing louder, as crimes by ICE against civilians continue to rise."
Iranian outlet Press TV: "Instant karma? Trump: Iranian Patriots, KEEP PROTESTING—TAKE OVER YOUR INSTITUTIONS!!!"
There's actually some truth here in the way US officials and media portray things whenever there's a protest inside Iran, or any nation deemed a 'rogue' state for that matter: all demonstrations no matter how small or varied in terms of the protesters' actual motives tend to get treated as somehow "pro-Western democracy" in nature, or else as if the "regime" is always on the brink of collapse.
And then there are always the familiar calls by American politicians and pundits of the 'Ayatollah must go' or this or that dictator must go. Western mainstream media is also notorious for grossly oversimplifying complex dynamics behind foreign events and protest movements.
Tehran officials and state media have also of late been saying the Iranian protests that kicked off on December 27, but which last week finally ended, were quickly "hijacked" by foreign powers and interests. For example the below fresh PressTV commentary says:
In an interview with the Press TV website, Nury Vittachi, a Hong Kong-based journalist, author, and political commentator, said the deadly unrest and acts of terrorism in Iran in recent weeks bore the unmistakable signs of a coordinated campaign orchestrated by the United States and Israel.
“There is no doubt that there was heavy involvement from foreign forces during the riots. I have seen this same procedure in many locations,” he stated.

FRENCH GOV DEMAND GAB BAN PEOPLE AND CONTENT OR GET BANNED
This morning, as Gab prepared for another day of defending free speech online, we received a formal legal notice from the French government. It’s the kind of thing that would make most Big Tech CEOs fold like a cheap suit, but not here. Not on Gab.
The letter, straight from a French administrative authority in Nanterre, is written in both French and English. They demand that Gab remove “specific content” and ban certain users within 24 hours. Fail to comply, and they’ll block access to Gab across France. The justification? Vague citations to France’s Law for Trust in the Digital Economy (LCEN) and the EU’s Terrorist Content Online Regulation (TCO or TERREG), which gives governments the power to play digital thought police.
I’ve attached the full notice here for transparency. It’s all there: the threats of “immediate measures” if we don’t censor, and the usual boilerplate about protecting “public order” and fighting “terrorism.” But let’s be real: this isn’t about terrorism. This is about control. It’s about silencing voices some foreign government doesn’t like.
One of the accounts the French government is demanding we ban hasn’t even posted a single thing on Gab not a word, not a post, nothing. It’s a ghost account, inactive and harmless, yet these foreign bureaucrats in their ivory towers think they can waltz in and dictate to an American company like we’re their colonial outpost. This isn’t about enforcing any real law; it’s about raw overreach, trying to force us to purge random users who haven’t violated a single one of our guidelines or U.S. law, all under the guise of their flimsy “trust in the digital economy” nonsense.
It’s insane, it’s tyrannical, and it’s not happening, not on our watch. Gab stands for American sovereignty and free speech under God, not bowing to every petty demand from overseas elites who hate liberty. If they want to play games with empty profiles, let them chase shadows; we’ll keep building the uncensorable internet for the people who actually use it.
Gab was built for exactly these moments. Back in 2016, when the thought police at Twitter and Facebook started banning conservatives, nationalists, and anyone who dared question the regime, we said enough. We’ve faced deplatforming from payment processors, app stores, and even our own hosting providers all because we refuse to police speech based on what offends the powers that be. We’ve been called everything from a “haven for extremists” to a “threat to democracy.” And guess what? We’re still here. Stronger than ever.
France’s move is just the latest in a long line of European censorship crusades. Remember the EU’s TCO Regulation? That gem from 2021 that lets any “competent authority” in the bloc order platforms to nuke content in one hour flat no judge, no trial, just blind obedience. It’s been challenged in court by groups like La Quadrature du Net and ARTICLE 19, who rightly call it a “dangerous techno-solutionist police censorship” that chills free expression. Smaller platforms like ours get hit hardest because we don’t have the resources or the will to build the surveillance machines Big Tech uses to preemptively scrub anything that smells like dissent.
Gab complies with the law. We ban illegal threats of violence. Child exploitation? Gone. Direct calls to murder? Banned. But “terrorist content”? That’s a slippery slope the French (and their EU overlords) define to include political speech, memes, and even historical discussions that trigger their fragile sensibilities. Banning users for wrongthink?
We will not comply. Gab is a platform built for free speech, built by Christians for everyone who values liberty under God. As the Apostle Paul wrote in Galatians 5:1, “For freedom Christ has set us free; stand firm therefore, and do not submit again to a yoke of slavery.” These governments want to yoke us to their digital gulags, but we’ll stand firm. If France bans Gab, so be it. Our users are global. Our mission is eternal. And frankly, losing a country that’s already knee-deep in censorship might just be a blessing in disguise.
To the French government: Your threats don’t scare us. To our users: Keep posting. Keep building. The future of free speech doesn’t bend to bureaucrats.
Support platforms that fight for you.

Should we add weather to this list?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mVf_oGswyKY
GROK 4–The January 24, 2026, video from Dane Wigington (Geoengineering Watch Global Alert News, Episode #546) is a weekly update where Wigington argues that current extreme winter weather events across the US and globally are the direct result of ongoing covert climate engineering (geoengineering) operations, which he describes as "weather warfare.
"Key points and core message: He highlights media headlines about a major winter storm (with "catastrophic ice," heavy snow, and extreme cold affecting millions, including rare snow in Florida/Georgia and Chicago being colder than Antarctica). Wigington claims these are artificially created through extreme chemical ice nucleation – spraying patented endothermic (cooling) chemicals into above-freezing moisture to force rapid freezing, creating hazardous ice, power outages, and "whiplash" weather shifts (e.g., warm spells followed by arctic blasts).
This is portrayed as intentional manipulation using aircraft aerosol spraying, combined with frequency technologies like HAARP and radar networks (NEXRAD) to steer jet streams, alter atmospheric pressure, and direct moisture flows – turning naturally warmer conditions (e.g., record Gulf of Mexico and Arctic warmth) into targeted cold events over populated areas while the planet overall continues abrupt climate collapse.
He points out contradictions: drought in much of the US during winter, record heat elsewhere (China, Australia), collapsing ice sheets, failing ocean currents, massive biosphere die-offs (e.g., plankton crashes, insect/bird losses), microplastics/pollution health impacts, and engineered disruptions to the hydrological cycle (preventing normal cloud formation, causing flash droughts after storms).
Wigington frames this as part of accelerating global ecological and societal breakdown, with "controllers" increasingly desperate amid resource wars and a emerging "Mad Max"-style dystopia. He insists mainstream media and official narratives omit or cover up the central role of climate engineering, instead sensationalizing symptoms to distract from the root cause.
The overarching message is a call to awareness and action: populations and especially military personnel must be awakened to these operations to halt them from within, as they are the primary factor exacerbating (and masking) true climate instability. He urges viewers to share credible data from GeoengineeringWatch.org, view documentaries like The Dimming, support the organization, sign up for updates, and participate in awareness efforts (flyers, booklets, etc.).
Overall, the video presents current weather chaos not as natural climate variability or change alone, but as engineered "winter weather warfare" amid a larger, engineered planetary assault that's pushing civilization toward collapse unless exposed and stopped.
With Pauline Hanson’s One Nation eclipsing the Coalition in the polls, former Coalition advisor John Adams explains why he joined One Nation.
You don’t have to be a genius to know that Australia is in a state of crisis.
From the economy, to domestic security, to education, mental health outcomes and public integrity, Australia is in a perpetual state of decline. This is not just the current mood but rather can be measured across an objective set of empirical metrics dating back to the early 2000s.
Millions of Australians are finally waking up to the fact that the Labor-Liberal/National uniparty establishment (coupled with a club of willing bureaucrats) is running the country into the ground and that neither has any intention or ability to address the pressing problems facing Australia.
No better example can be identified than the response to the Bondi terrorist attack which has resulted in unprecedented and dangerous laws that, with no public consultation or democratic consent, has the capacity to suspend the civil liberties of ordinary Australians while doing little to add to public safety.
Given this context, in this past week, I decided to join One Nation as a party member.
No easy decision
This was no light decision. Having been a former economic advisor to a Coalition Senator and a former member of the Liberal Party (I quit the party in 2016), such a decision is likely to have material ramifications for me personally.
However, having been in the political wilderness for the past 10 years as an independent, I cannot in good conscious continue to allow Australia’s corrupt uniparty establishment to impair the nation.
Rather, if my family and I (including my three children) are to have any future in Australia, the uniparty must be destroyed root and branch.
Why One Nation?
Over the past 14 years as being a parliamentary staffer and an independent policy advocate, I have had significant access to the Federal Parliament.
I have seen our nation’s most senior parliamentarians behind closed doors. I have seen how they really think, their level of honesty, their capacity to be courageous and pursue issues, and their genuine commitment to the Australian people.
Across a wide variety of issues that I have personally worked on, whether it be:
fighting entrenched misconduct within Australia’s banking system;
preserving the freedom to use physical cash;
fighting against digital censorship and control;
resisting the draconian COVID-19 lockdown laws and vaccine mandates;
pursuing failures in public administration (such as the Australian Securities and Investments Commission);
Australia’s housing crisis; or
exposing entrenched corruption (including elite paedophilia);
One Nation has the been the most consistent, courageous and outspoken political force both in Federal Parliament and on the ground across Australia.
Both in public and behind closed doors, I have personally witnessed the genuine and sincere concern that One Nation has for ordinary Australians and the nation’s current predicament which is in contrast to the uniparty.

Hate Speech. Protecting Israel’s reputation in Australia just got cheaper
Israel’s reputation is treated as a strategic asset to be managed in Western media and political domains. The Israeli ‘machine’ spends a lot of money and effort doing it. The passing of hate laws in the Parliament just switched some of the cost to us.
Let’s start with some disclosures. 1) I respect people of Jewish faith. 2) I respect people of Islamic faith. 3) Hamas’ 7 October 2023 attacks on Israeli citizens were wrong. 4) Israel’s genocide in Gaza was wrong. 5) Hezbollah and Houthi attacks on Israeli citizens were wrong. 6) Israel’s attacks on Lebanese citizens were wrong. 7) The terrorist attack at Bondi Beach was wrong.
Violence against civilians is wrong.
I’ve been asked to weigh in on the Gaza conflict on numerous occasions. I’ve declined because it’s complicated, requires a substantive understanding of history and involves perspectives that, without significant research, will just leave me speaking from an uninformed place.
I’m also of the view that nothing said here in Australia, including by our Prime Minister, will change the views of the Netanyahu government or Hamas. We might be a “middle power” internationally, but Australia really doesn’t weigh very heavily in the strategic or political balance in the Middle East.
I condemn the violence on all sides and advocate that, whilst everyone has a right to respectful commentary and peaceful protest, Middle Eastern affairs should not be a basis for hateful or violent division in the Australian community.
Balcony over Jerusalem
I did, however, decide to try to find out at least something about the current environment in the Middle East from someone who’s spent time there and I could trust. That’s what caused me to buy John Lyon’s book, ‘Balcony Over Jerusalem’.
Lyons is a leading Australian journalist, currently working for the ABC in Washington and, on occasion, upsetting Donald Trump. He takes the reader of his book through the wonders and dangers of the Middle East experienced and learned in his 6 years as a foreign correspondent living in Israel.
Whilst the book takes the reader on an interesting walk through conflicts across the Middle East, including in Gaza and the Occupied Territories, one clear theme that emerged from the book was the lengths the Israeli ‘machine’ went to try to shape and indeed control the outside world’s perception of Israel.
Controlling the narrative
In the book Lyons argues that Israel treats its international reputation as a strategic asset, and is up there with national security and diplomacy in its importance. It uses a ‘machine’ that doesn’t just react to criticism of Israel, it engages in proactive narrative shaping, which includes systematic engagement with journalists, diplomats and influencers.
Here in Australia members of Parliament are often offered all expenses paid trips to Israel, where see the Israeli perspective on security. I was invited to do so when I was a senator, but declined.
