Health Canada Seals Vaccine Injury Records For 15 Years | Citing The Sheer Scale Of Records Involved

https://www.truth11.com/health-canada-seals-vaccine-injury-records-for-15-years-citing-the-sheer-scale-of-records-involved/

Health Canada has locked away internal reports on vaccine and drug injuries for up to 15 years, citing the sheer scale of the records involved, according to documents tabled in Parliament.

The disclosure emerged in an Inquiry of Ministry response detailing unusually long delays under the Access To Information Act.

Health Canada confirmed its longest current extension is 15 years, covering a request for vaccine and adverse drug reaction reports dating back to 1998.

Officials said the request originally involved several million pages of records. It has since been narrowed in scope and is now being processed, but the extended delay remains one of the longest on record within the federal government.

The Public Health Agency of Canada also acknowledged lengthy delays tied to pandemic-era records, with one request extended by more than five years.

The agency blamed the backlog on the volume of material moving through senior offices during COVID-19, the need for extensive consultations, parliamentary motions, and what it described as the requester’s refusal to narrow the scope of the request. Continue…

Canadian cabinet member suggests need for new powers to stop protests like Freedom Convoy

https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/canadian-cabinet-member-suggests-need-for-new-powers-to-stop-protests-like-freedom-convoy/

Minister of Industry Mélanie Joly was questioned by Conservatives during a committee meeting in the House of Commons about a bill restricting use of the internet.

One of Canada’s most senior federal ministers seemed to suggest that the government needs more, and possibly new powers, to ensure it can deal in the future with “hostile actors” more swiftly than it did during the Freedom Convoy clearout in 2022.

The comments were made by Minister of Industry Mélanie Joly during a recent House of Commons industry committee meeting after she was grilled by Conservative MPs about concerns over a new bill relating to the internet.

Joly claimed that the federal cabinet under Prime Minister Mark Carney needs the new powers to deal with “a chaotic and dangerous world.”

“I think it’s important for people to remember that, since we’re living in a much more chaotic and dangerous world, the government has to deal with a lot of hostile actors that can sometimes go after our critical infrastructure including the state ones,” she told the committee.

Joly was giving her testimony regarding Bill C-8, known as An Act Respecting Cyber Security. Continue…

Calgary and Edmonton mentioned repeatedly in Epstein files

https://www.westernstandard.news/news/calgary-and-edmonton-mentioned-repeatedly-in-epstein-files/70896

Edmonton and Calgary are mentioned a number of times in the latest Epstein file release; from mentions of real estate to comments about entertainment, the Alberta cities seem to come up a notable amount of times.

As discussed in the story released Monday, the most significant mention of the Alberta cities was in the interaction the child sex trafficker and suspected intelligence asset had with an unknown employee at CBC Edmonton.

The extent of the relationship Epstein had with this individual is unknown; records do show plane tickets from Edmonton to New York after previous emails about the CBC employee possibly going to visit Epstein.

Aside from this, there are also conversations of Edmonton and Calgary real estate, with emails between Epstein and New York-based property broker David Mitchell showing Epstein might've had property interests in Alberta. Continue…

First Nation Chief paid $55K by US lobby group says Smith should 'resign immediately'

https://www.westernstandard.news/news/first-nation-chief-paid-55k-by-us-lobby-group-says-smith-should-resign-immediately/70878

According to Allan Adam, the Athabasca Chipewyan First Nation Chief, the Alberta independence movement is "laughable," and so are the oilsands.

Adam made his thoughts known about Premier Danielle Smith, who, by allowing an Alberta independence petition, should "resign immediately," according to a report by Windspeaker.

He got even more direct in targeting Smith, stating, "From here on forward, the road is going to get rocky and rough because when this referendum is defeated, I will gladly walk you to the border.”

Adam is no stranger to interacting with those beyond the border.

In fact, he has received money from a lobby group beyond the border — for talking anti-oilsands.

Back in 2014, the Toronto Sun reported Adam received $55,000 from an American "social justice" philanthropy organization — based in the US.

Adam got the dough from The Tides Foundation, which operates both in San Francisco and New York, with its purpose being "justice in the social sector, working closely with doers and donors to build the power of historically excluded groups who face systemic barriers."

In Adam's case, he was paid to be flown to Toronto for a one-time speaking position next to Neil Young, to speak in opposition to the oilsands. Continue…

Three foreign nationals arrested by officers on an anti-extortion patrol in Surrey over the weekend have been charged after a home in the B.C. city was targeted with gunfire.

Harjot Singh, 21, Taranveer Singh, 19, and Dayajeet Singh Billing, 21, were arrested in connection with the incident during the early morning hours of Feb. 1, Surrey police said in a press release. Each man faces one count of discharging a firearm, and all have been remanded into custody until Feb. 5.

The officers apprehended the suspects following an early morning report of gunfire and a small fire outside a residence in the Crescent Beach area of Surrey, the Feb. 2 press release said.

Police report that the three men were apprehended soon after the gunfire while inside a rideshare vehicle.

Two suspects sustained injuries during the arrest. One had two noticeable black eyes, as depicted in the photo shared by police, while the other had a less visible black eye.

Surrey police Staff Sgt. Lindsey Houghton told reporters on Feb. 1 that the first suspect refused to follow officers’ instructions to get out of the vehicle and “actively” resisted. The suspect was subsequently taken to the ground and was handcuffed, he said. Continue…

BMO Fined $4M for ‘Erroneous Charges’ Affecting 100K Customer Accounts

The Bank of Montreal was fined $4 million after “erroneous charges” for monthly plan fees affected more than 100,000 customers, the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada says.

Citing violations of consumer provisions in the Bank Act, the Financial Consumer Agency of Canada (FCAC) said in a Feb. 2 news release that the bank failed to properly disclose details about monthly plan fees that “should have been waived or discounted for certain personal deposit accounts.”

BMO did not disclose all charges applicable to certain personal deposit accounts from 2010 to 2024, and also failed to “clearly disclose” information about when monthly plan fees would begin between 2022 and 2024, FCAC said.

The agency noted that a total of 101,091 customers were financially impacted by the violations. BMO has issued more than $3 million in refunds and redressed interest to impacted customers. The bank also donated more than $600,000 to charity for the amount that it could not refund to accounts. Continue…
