I'm not interested in Noem, I'm interested in how many in Congress can be made to clean out their desks
I endorse Anon that is so noble as to endorse the dough post
Check out California gas prices, and remembering the CA refineries also serve Arizona and Nevada, I wonder how long those Senators will last as prices keep going up thanks to Newsome's war on fossil fuels?

Neil Young Gifts Music Catalog to Greenland, Blasts Amazon, Bezos, and Trump
by Simon Kent 27 Jan 2026
Left-wing rocker Neil Young has gifted access to his entire music catalog to the people of Greenland for free while variously hitting out at Amazon, Jeff Bezos and President Donald Trump.
The Canadian singer-songwriter made his public declaration in response to Trump’s pressure on Greenland to work with his administration as it seeks to secure the vital geo-political asset from threats – now and in the future.
Trump said at a White House meeting earlier this month he “may put a tariff on countries if they don’t go along with Greenland” which is a semi-autonomous territory of NATO ally Denmark.
Young is having none of that as his website promise makes clear:
I’m honoured to give a free year’s access to neilyoungarchives.com to all of our friends in Greenland. I hope my music and music films will ease some of the unwarranted stress and threats you are experiencing from our unpopular and hopefully temporary government.
It is my sincere wish for you to be able to enjoy all of my music in your beautiful Greenland home, in its highest quality. This is an offer of Peace and Love.
Young confirmed his gift includes “all the music I have made during the last 62 years.”
The 1960s legend added: “You can renew for free as long as you are in Greenland. We do hope other organisations will follow in the spirit of our example. LOVE EARTH. Neil.”
This is not the first time Young has sought to insert himself into global politics.
In another recent post, Young criticised Amazon and Jeff Bezos with Trump added to the crossfire.
It comes after he announced he would be removing his discography from Amazon Music last autumn, as Breitbart News reported.
“Amazon is owned by Jeff Bezos, a billionaire backer of the president. The president’s international policies and his support of ICE, make it impossible for me to ignore his actions,” he shared last Friday. He added:
The president’s international policies and his support of ICE, make it impossible for me to ignore his actions. If you feel as I do, I strongly recommend that you do not use AMAZON. There are many ways to avoid AMAZON and support individual Americans and American companies that supply the same products. I have done that with my music and people who are looking can find it in a lot of other places.
Record stores provide all my vinyl and CDs, while the digital world has many alternative options to purchase my music if you like it. My music will never be available on AMAZON, as long as it is owned by Bezos. My position is unfortunately harmful to my record company in the short term but I think the message I am sending is important and clear.
Thanks for buying music locally or from independent Digital services.
Earlier this month he also shared op-eds on his website denouncing ICE.
He also shared a warning about Stephen Miller, the Deputy Chief of Staff for Policy, in a post titled “Watch Out For This Guy.”

Keith Ellison Outraged That Minnesota Not Being Included in Shooting Investigations After Refusing to Cooperate With Feds
by Mike LaChance Jan. 26, 2026
Keith Ellison is outraged that the State of Minnesota is not being included in the shooting investigations there by federal officials. This is rich, considering that one of the main reasons for all of this chaos, is that Minnesota has refused to work with federal officials in ICE.
In Ellison’s world, it’s fine for Minnesota to shut out the feds, but the feds aren’t allowed to do the same thing to the state.
He actually invokes the Constitution and talks about state sovereignty here. Where was the Democrat concern for state sovereignty when the Biden administration was shuffling millions of illegal aliens into the country?
Transcript via Real Clear Politics:
MINNESOTA ATTORNEY GENERAL KEITH ELLISON: So let me just note that Superintendent Drew Evans of the BCA—another exemplary professional in our state—the BCA is the state’s investigative agency, and it is their job to investigate crime. They have a specialized unit to investigate use-of-force cases.
They arrived on site after the shooting and were refused access. They then secured a judicial warrant—a warrant signed by a judge—which has never been needed before, and were still refused access.
This is uncharted territory.
Now, friends, this comes at the tail end of other offenses, like a shooting in North Minneapolis and another homicide in South Minneapolis—Renee Nicole Good—where they also were denied access to the scene, and investigators are, to this moment, still being denied access to the investigative file.
This is not a rash decision for us to go to court and to seek a temporary restraining order from a judge to preserve evidence and prevent the destruction of evidence. I don’t care if you’re a conservative, liberal, or whatever, but you should at least be in favor of conserving evidence in a homicide.
And to have to go get an order from a judge to preserve that evidence is extraordinary and should alarm everyone who believes in equal justice under the law, and who believes that every person—no matter how this case ultimately is resolved—deserves to have their case investigated to get to the truth of what happened.
This is an extraordinary moment in an unprecedented time, and we’re doing all we can to step up to that moment…
The Tenth Amendment: we are entitled, as a state, to equal sovereignty, and we have been denied that. The federal government is literally commandeering and coercing the state of Minnesota to bend to its will, which is the prerogative of the people of the state of Minnesota.
Minnesota does not get to have it both ways. If they want cooperation from the federal government, maybe they should start cooperating with ICE.

Meh, has-been trying to get attention
I understand Greenlanders like techno as much as Denmark does
Neil is far from techno so I doubt Greenlanders have heard of him
I recall the previous time Neil played this game, decided he would leave Spotify. His old fans were surprised he was still alive and Millenials and Gen Z were wondering who he was. A few months later Neil crawled back to Spotify but I seem to recall in honor of his butthurt the male version of Karen was to be referred to as Neil

WHAT A SHAME: Stephen Colbert’s Ratings for January Crash to Record Low, Just Ahead of Show’s Discontinuation
by Mike LaChance Jan. 26, 2026
Ratings for the Late Show with Stephen Colbert have hit a record low this month, just as the show is preparing to end its run for good. It couldn’t happen to a nicer guy.
It’s amazing that anyone is still watching him at all. His act has become so stale and boring. Only a small group of hardcore Trump haters woud continue to tune in night after night, just to hear the same tired scolding that Colbert has been engaged in since 2016.
Colbert could have done a course correction years ago that might have even saved his show, but he was incapable of letting go of his Trump Derangement Syndrome. is there any wonder why the audience walked away?
That Park Place reports:
Stephen Colbert Ratings Collapse to Record Lows as Late Show Nears Cancellation
The Stephen Colbert ratings freefall has reached an undeniable breaking point. As The Late Show with Stephen Colbert approaches its already-announced cancellation, the program is now posting record-low January numbers, marking one of the steepest late-night declines in recent television history.
According to Nielsen data reported this week, Colbert’s show is averaging roughly 285,000 viewers in the crucial 25–54 demographic, putting it on track for its worst January performance ever in the category that advertisers actually care about. With just months left before the curtain closes for good, the ratings trajectory suggests viewers have been checking out long before CBS formally pulled the plug.
While total viewership erosion has been gradual over the past several years, the collapse in the 25–54 demo tells the real story. Late-night television lives or dies by that number, and Colbert’s January performance places him firmly near the bottom of the competitive pack.
The show’s demo average now sits far below what the franchise once delivered during its peak years — and even trails where The Late Show performed during periods widely considered transitional or unstable. In practical terms, this means fewer ad dollars, weaker affiliate confidence, and little justification for long-term investment.
One of the other reasons for this is that Colbert’s guest list reads like the staff roster at the Democrat National Committee. Every night, he has on someone like Elizabeth Warren, Bernie Sanders, Gavin Newsom, etc.
People can get that kind of content on MSNOW or CNN. Why would anyone want to see it on late night TV? It’s so boring and tired.

‘KEEP ON DREAMING’: NATO Secretary General Rutte Defends Trump Before EU Parliament, Says Europe Delusional To Believe It Can Defend Itself Without the US
by Paul Serran Jan. 27, 2026
Rutte hits Brussels with the truth.
Against the backdrop of a multitude of Globalist leaders doing their ‘best’ to oppose US President Donald J. Trump in his every geopolitical move, NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte is a clear exception.
Even before he became the head of the military alliance, Rutte was already warning Europeans to ‘stop moaning and whining and nagging about Trump’.
Now they call him ‘Trump whisperer’, which he is not, but he has at least shown deference not only for the US, but to reality.
In front of the über Euro-Globalists in Brussels, Rutte told the unvarnished truth: they should ‘keep on dreaming’ that they can defend themselves without the support of the United States.
CNN reported:
“’If anyone thinks here again that the European Union, or Europe as a whole, can defend itself without the US, keep on dreaming. You can’t. We can’t. We need each other’, Rutte said during an address to the European Parliament in Brussels on Monday.”
If Europe wanted to defend itself alone, it would have to hike defense spending to at least 10% of GDPs, and build its own nuclear capabilities.
“’In that scenario, you will lose the ultimate guarantor of our freedom, which is the US nuclear umbrella. So hey, good luck’, he said.”
The NATO chief also praised Trump for pioneering Arctic security.
“’I think he’s right. There is an issue with the Arctic region. There is an issue of collective security, because these sea lanes are opening up, and because the Chinese and the Russians are more and more active’, he said.”
