Understand this – the FBI could move into action and arrest a man for posting a meme about the 2016 election. A meme that had no violent content, no threats, nothing. Just a dumb and obvious joke.
A judge signed off on the arrest, a federal prosecutor aggressively pursued the case, and a jury convicted him and wrongfully sent him to federal prison. For a meme.
The conviction was overturned, but not until this man was put through years of hell and tremendous personal expense.
That's how our system treats people on the right.
Today we cannot secure an arrest warrant for unhinged activists who stormed a church service to terrorize innocent worshippers on Sunday. Federal prosecutors resign rather than cooperate with immigration enforcement. Rioters openly launch an organized armed insurgency against law enforcement officers. And leftist terror cells chant for murder on the streets of NYC. All apparently completely above the law.
Now imagine Democrats take back power, and what that means for the rest of us.
