Don Lemon was not quickly released with no “bail”. It is federal court, so there is no "bail" (as that term is commonly used) as in state courts. So "released with no bail" is meaningless. He is released on pre-trial surety, which means he or someone on his behalf has had to pledge a free-of-all-liens asset (usually with a $50K to $100K minimum value) against his promise to return to court. He is now subject to mandatory monthly drug testing and financial disclosures which, in and of themselves, are going to crimp his life style.
