White Florida Couple Launch Lawsuit And DNA Tests After Their IVF Baby Comes Out Black

A Florida couple says their world was turned upside down after a DNA test revealed that the baby girl they welcomed through IVF is not genetically theirs.

The couple, who are remaining anonymous under the names John and Jane Doe, say they went through IVF using their own egg and sperm at IVF Life, Inc., also known as Fertility Center. According to their lawsuit, three viable embryos were created during the process.

In March 2025, one of those embryos was implanted, and the pregnancy went smoothly. Months later, the couple welcomed a baby girl and believed their long fertility journey had finally led them to this moment.

But soon after her birth, they say something felt off. The couple noticed that their daughter did not share their skin color, which prompted them to seek a DNA test. The results confirmed their worst fear. The baby they were raising was not genetically related to either of them.

Despite the shock, the couple says their love for the child has never wavered.

“While we are beyond grateful to have her in our lives and love her immeasurably, we also recognize that we have a moral obligation to find her genetic parents,” they said in a statement.

They also shared the emotional toll of realizing another family may be living with the same kind of loss.

“Our joy over her birth is further complicated by the devastating reality that her genetic parents, whom we do not yet know, or possibly another family entirely, may have received our genetic embryo,” the couple said. “We are heartbroken, devastated, and confused.”

The lawsuit also alleges that the fertility clinic has been anything but helpful as the couple searched for answers.

“Until yesterday, the clinic has been entirely uncooperative and refused to provide any verifiable information or a timeline as to when such information would be provided,” they said.

According to the couple, it was only after the threat of a court order that the clinic agreed to cooperate. Even then, they say nothing concrete has happened yet.

“Faced with the prospect of a court order at yesterday’s hearing, the clinic has now promised cooperation, but that promise has not yet been fulfilled,” they added. “We hope it will be.”

The situation has left the couple caught between deep love for the child they are raising and the painful uncertainty surrounding how this mix up ever happened.

Seven Reasons Not To Bomb Iran

Authored by Josiah Lippincott via American Greatness,

By the time this piece publishes, the United States military might already have launched air strikes on Iran. Indeed, planes could be launching while I write this. Nevertheless, here is a list of seven reasons why our government should not intervene in the Middle East.

  1. It has never gone well

  2. It is not a military threat to the us

3.Irans relationship to Israel is not our problem

  1. The iranian struggle for freedom is not our concern

  2. Tax money spend would be better used here

  3. intervention backfires

  4. We should adopt the golden rule
