Exodus is a book for Jews within a bigger book for Jews (Old Testament). Yahweh is distinct from God because Yahweh is a lesser spirit that demands sacrifices and slaughter of goyim for his appeasement, while God of the New Testament says he wants us to live together peacefully and does not need sacrifices of flesh and blood of innocent people and animals (every man, woman, child, camel and ass). Is that the same god? Does the creator of everything really want to dwell in a little cairn on a mountain?

Jesus said that where two or more people gather in His name, then he is there also. If we are to consider Jesus as God, then this would be Jesus himself saying that God does not require a building to dwell in, but rather the consciousness

This all comes down to whether we wish to overly heed the Old Testament as Jews, or follow Christ as he appears in the New Testament when he came to rebuke the Jews and many Jews converted to Followers of Christ; thereby nullifying their prior Jewish faith and making their bodies and consciousness into God's temple, instead of the tabernacle.
