>there is video.
One version of the post-disarmed Pretti video seems to show a flash coming from Pretti's gun in the agent's hand a second or so after he'd dislodged it from its holder and turned to move away from the struggle.
Another version of the same video from the same angle doesn't show the flash but does claim to show the impact of the bullet on the ground.
This was immediately after disarming him and immediately before the barrage of bullets that followed.
The original video will hopefully be obtained by the investigators, without the enhancements, if that is what we are seeing.
The agent holding the dislodged gun seems to react to an apparent involuntary discharge, watching the hand holding the gun and his upper body response. But he picks up the pace away from the group, likely because the other bullets are going off.
Pretti's choice of weapon has a history of "uncommanded" discharges:
"Bagnell says there have beenover 400 incidents nationwide involving the P320 discharging without a trigger pull, across 46 states. He says many of those incidents involved trained police officers who are experienced at handling weapons.
"Several Texas police departments have already removed the P320 from service. Gill hopes USAA will do the same."

Another contributing factor to the intentional chaos were the incessant shrill "rape whistles." Designed to protect would-be rape victims, they are being utilized by rapist protectors (like some of those whom the law enforcement agents are trying to remove from the community).
Perhaps the law enforcement personnel were wearing hearing protectionbecause of the shrill, hearing-damaging whistles, and they could not hear comms from other agents in the struggle with Pretti on the ground.
Anyone judging those who discharged their weapons should be made to spend 2 hours in their shoes, not the many days on end that they have enduring these assaults to their vehicles, their person, their hearing, their sleep, their peace, their safety, and then see how they (those judging) would react under the shout of "Gun, Gun, Gun," followed immediately by a discharge - accidental or not.
