Jill Biden’s Ex-Husband Arrested and Charged with Murder of His Wife

Jill Biden’s ex-husband Bill Stevenson was charged with murder of his wife, Linda Stevenson.

Last month police swarmed Stevenson’s home after his wife died amid a domestic dispute.

64-year-old Linda Stevenson, wife of Jill Biden’s ex-husband Bill Stevenson, was found unresponsive after police arrived to the New Castle, Delaware, residence late Sunday night.

According to TMZ, Linda Stevenson was found dead in the living room.

William Stevenson, 77, is charged with first-degree murder in the death of his 64-year-old wife Linda Stevenson after a weeks-long investigation.

Linda was found unresponsive on the living room floor after officers responded to a home on the 1300 block of Idlewood Road for a domestic dispute call on December 28, 2025. She was pronounced dead at the scene.

Narrative:

A Cirrus SR20 G6 Premium Platinum, G-GXVV, crashed about 2 km southeast of Littleborough, Rochdale, Greater Manchester. The aircraft CAPS system was deployed (pull #170) during the accident sequence.

Both ocupants perished and the aircraft was wsritten off.

When the aircraft came down by parchute the harnass was cut off by the powerlines resulting in a free fall and the aircraft came down very hard to rest inverted.

Large emergency response may be due to insufficient information regarding the type of aircraft number of casualties etc or due to coming down on moorland with poor location information potentially requiring a search. Also the fact that it hit high voltage overhead power lines would complicate the situation.
