Personally what I find curious about the Lutnik matter isn't the fact he was comming Epstein per se. Lutnick can address those, and should. What gets me is the the admin had all these documents for months, so they had to know those emails existed. Okay maybe Lutnick explained himself to their satisfaction, in which case we will probably now get the same explanations. But they knew and let the "we broke off all contact after visiting his house once" line stand. It would have been much better had they come out and said, "We learned Lutnick wasn't entirely forthcoming about his relationship with Epstein, he has explained himself and here's why he is still part of the admin…"

This is exactly why letting ICE pull people out of their cars for simply tailing them is a bad idea. Not allowing that means ICE has to think about what they are doing rather than reacting with brute force, which is the road to a very bad place.

So kudos to the ICE agents that thought this up, and a giant rasberry to the idiot "protesters" who fell for it.
