What made me laugh the most in that time was in restaurants you didn't have to wear your mask at the table when eating, but if you stood up you had to wear it. Apparently you could only catch COVID at a certain height with that logic.

I went back to the table I was at, and addressed every person sitting in there having their coffee and asked them how is having to show proof of vaccination to participate in society any different than 80 years ago in Germany asking someone to see their papers to participate in society any different, and how is it possible not to catch COVID sitting down at a table, but standing up there is a risk? Nobody said anything. They all kind of looked like they were ashamed a bit, and they were all elderly. I just stormed off out of there in a huff after that. Can't speak for everyone, but back in elementary they would have book sales and the students would get a little catalog of the books they could buy, you'd take it home and check off the ones you want, parents would write a check and you'd take it back to school and then a month or so later you'd get the books you wanted. Scholastic I think was the company behind it.
