I bet the threat was that someone wearing a Q shirt and a MAGA hat would assault Jim Acosta and then disappear into the crowd of Q shirts. If the USSS are taking signs and telling people to cover up their shirts then there would be no crowd for the bad actor to run into. We could just watch the tapes and point him out in 2 minutes.
