As a believer inChrist, found in HIM. It strikes me odd that with Savannah Guthrie and family asking for prayers and saying they believe in prayer, but only say they have faith in HIM. Who is HIM? To them?
If this was my life struggle to have mom abducted it would now that I would be crying our the name of Jesus vocally for all to hear.
Does any other believer also feel u comfortable that Savannah and family has not uttered the name of JESUS when asking for prayers and saying they believe in “HIM”.. I too believe in HIM, but HIM in prayer is Jesus.
So I have a weird feeling that the HIM they have faith in and pray to may not be who they want the public to believe, despite attending any church that says Christian in its name.
In this troubled time you would think a believer in Christ would say Christ and or combo of Jesus name PUBLICLY…
THIS is a absolute directive from Jesus.
This is no time to play politics and tv policy. If this family will not proclaim Jesus now publicly especially when asking for prayer from God, they are in tremendous error or not believers in truth.
HIM, god etc., is generic and be any idolatrous god, small g god, not The ONE TRUE GOD of the Christian bible. If you have any other god, and call him God, but do not ask for prayer IN JESUS name, you are praying to some other false god, small g, that does not pertain to the God of Heaven and earth. And any thing you desire in prayer, that what we believe to receive from God as described in the Holy Bible, you will not attain, as you do not follow HIS explicit directives.
If this family is asking us to pray, we are doing so based on the GOD of the Holy Bible, not some other god’ we come in prayer IN JESUS name first and always. HIS NAME JESUS IS SPOKEN. No if and, or but’s. Period.
So this is very not good to my ears and heart to see and hear this vital component not being done publicly. They say they are Christian?
This is troubling to me.
ASK any true bible believer if this is what they believe and follow: and can point to it biblically as a true instruction.

The concept of publicly acknowledging Jesus is rooted in biblical teachings about confessing faith, notably in Matthew 10:32-33, where Jesus indicates he will acknowledge before the Father those who acknowledge him publicly, and deny those who deny him. This is interpreted as a call to live openly as a Christian, honoring his name rather than just a requirement to verbally say it in public.
Public Confession: The Bible emphasizes acknowledging Jesus before others, which is seen as a sign of true discipleship.
Significance of the Name: Using the name of Jesus is considered a way to show reverence, honor his authority, and represent his glory.
"In My Name" Meaning: Praying in Jesus' name signifies relying on his intimacy with the Father and his role as an advocate. Some interpretations suggest "name" refers to his authority and character, not just the literal word.
Consequences of Denial: Conversely, failing to acknowledge or denying him publicly is warned against in Scripture.
The core message focuses on living a life that reflects Christian faith and openly recognizing Jesus as Lord.

Jesus didn't say maybe - He said “Whatever you ask the Father in My name, He WILL do it.”
(John 14:12-14) In this passage Jesus proclaims that if we ask for anything in His name, He will do it.

Matthew 10:32-33 (ESV) highlights the importance of publicly affirming faith in Jesus: "So everyone who acknowledges me before men, I also will acknowledge before my Father who is in heaven, but whoever denies me before men, I also will deny before my Father who is in heaven." It emphasizes the consequences of public confession versus denial.
Key Context and Meaning:
Acknowledgment/Confession: This implies a public declaration, testimony, or witness of loyalty to Jesus, even under pressure.
Denial: To disown or refuse to acknowledge Jesus before others.
The Promise: Jesus promises to act as an advocate before God the Father for those who openly stand with him.
The Warning: Conversely, denying Jesus results in him denying that person before the Father.
Context: These verses occur during instructions to the disciples, warning them of persecution but encouraging them to remain loyal and persistent in their mission.
In essence, these verses call for consistent, faithful, and public allegiance to Christ, promising that such fidelity is recognized in heaven
