Private Prosecution, Fraud Act 2006
I have been provided in the early hours of this morning with information from a former New Scotland Yard detective tending to show that the Chagos 'deal' involves a sophisticated fraud contrary to the Fraud Act 2006, involving a theft of taxpayers money on a grand scale. The evidence suggests that this fraud was originally conceived in or around 2013 and with the main participants in it being you Lord Richard Hermer, Lord Peter Mandelson, Jonathan Powell.
Philipe Sands KC and Navin Ramgoolam.
The fraud has involved you making statements about the Chagos deal which are untrue and which the evidence shows you must have known were untrue when you made them. These statements were necessary in order to make the Chagos deal happen, and form an integral part of the fraud.
The role of Lord Peter Mandelson given his dubious past, and the emails emerging from the Epstein disclosures, is a notable feature.
I intend to conduct an investigation into these matters in the public interest, as I have a right to do as a private citizen. There is an obvious public interest in the law being enforced by a private citizen in these circumstances.
I will not issue a summons against you until you have had a reasonable opportunity to address the incriminating facts, which I will set out to you in due course.
For now, please ensure that all relevant documents, and in particular messages (including instant messages and direct messages on social media platforms) with Lord Richard Hermer, Lord Peter Mandelson, Jonathan Powell, Philipe Sands KC and Navin Ramgoolam are preserved.
