The more research I do and the more I think about it the more I am convinced that my new conspiracy theory is true. The recent market wide sell off is the result of the elites trying to raise get out of dodge money. Remember, all their wealth is speculative. None of them actually have much cash, it is all tied up in assets, stocks, RE, etc. So when they need money they have to sell stuff, and the more of them there are selling stuff the more prices go down, and the more prices go down the more stuff they have to sell to get the money they need.
