Two dead in US strike on suspected narco boat in Pacific – military

6 Feb, 2026 09:02

American forces have carried out another strike on a suspected drug-trafficking vessel in the Eastern Pacific, killing two people, the US Southern Command has said.

In a statement posted on Friday, the body said the operation was conducted a day prior at the direction of its commander, Gen. Francis L. Donovan, and targeted a vessel “operated by Designated Terrorist Organizations.” It did not provide details on which group it belonged to.

The command claimed, citing intelligence data, that the boat was moving along “known narco-trafficking routes” and “was engaged in narco-trafficking operations.”

No US military forces were harmed in the strike, the statement added. The command also released a video showing a small-sized boat hit by two explosions at an unspecified location.

The strike is part of what the administration of US President Donald Trump has described as a “war on drugs,” with a focus on destroying suspect vessels rather than boarding them.

The campaign began in September 2025 and has killed 128 people across more than 36 attacks in the Caribbean and eastern Pacific, according to an AP tally, though the pace has fallen since early January 2026.

On January 3, the US kidnapped Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro, who it accused of having links to the drug trade.

Maduro, who is awaiting trial in New York, has denied the allegations, saying they only served as a pretext for regime change.

Critics of the “war on drugs” have also questioned the strikes’ legal basis, saying the administration has failed to produce enough evidence to prove the boats were being run by drug cartels.

They have also pointed out that Congress has not authorized the use of military force.

Trump has defended the strikes, claiming that they have cut the sea-borne drug flow to the US by 94%.

Some regional leaders have voiced concerns about the campaign, including Colombian President Gustavo Petro, who has condemned the attacks as illegal and warned of escalating tensions, although this did not impede his meeting with Trump earlier this week.

Cartel drones coming over the border worry New Mexico officials

Updated: Feb 6, 2026 / 04:21 PM EST

EL PASO, Texas (Border Report) – Law enforcement officials from Chihuahua and New Mexico met this week to discuss Mexican drug cartels’ increasing use of drones at the U.S.-Mexico border.

The meeting between Bernalillo County District Attorney Sam Bregman, Chihuahua Public Safety Secretary Gilberto Loya and other officials Thursday in Santa Fe came as the New Mexico state legislature weighs a bill to define unlawful use of drone technology.

SB 136 was unanimously referred to the Senate Judiciary Committee last week.

It creates the crime of unlawful use of an unmanned aircraft and establishes penalties ranging from a misdemeanor to a fourth-degree felony.

Examples of unlawful use is directing the drone toward critical infrastructure such as utility plants, pipelines, jails, detention centers or airports.

Other instances are using a drone in the commission of a crime or capturing images of a person for unauthorized surveillance.

Along the U.S.-Mexico border, the fear is that drones will be used by criminal organizations to smuggle drugs and migrants or to harm law enforcement.

“We want people to be able to use drones,” said Bregman, who also is chairman of the New Mexico Organized Crime Commission.

“However, the idea that drones can be used to circle law enforcement to do things that are known to be criminal activity, the idea that you are going to use a drone, fly it over the border form Mexico, drop a package or guide traffickers so they not be detected, that’s a real problem.”

A former El Paso U.S. Border Patrol chief told Border Report last year that his officers routinely were spied upon by drones on the Mexican side of the border wall.

The Chihuahua state police, meantime, reported a drone bomb attack that injured several military officers early in 2024. A profanity-laced video of the attack can still be found on social media.

Bregman said law enforcement on both sides of the border are collaborating to confront this threat.

“We have not seen drones used to commit actual violent acts in New Mexico, but we do know that’s happened in Mexico,” Bregman later told KRQE.

“So we are very concerned with drones used in criminal activity, organized crime – specifically, drugs – human trafficking, mapping out (smuggling) routes.”

Loya said he knows criminals know no borders, so it’s important for law enforcement in Mexico and the U.S. to work together.

The Chihuahua state police has had multiple encounters with drones operated by transnational criminal organizations, particularly in the mountainous western part of the state.

“What we are doing here today is making it possible for Chihuahua and New Mexico to be more safe and secure,” Loya said at a news conference with Bregman.

“To that end, we have started today a structural collaboration to tackle these emerging issues and crimes.”

Loya earlier said his agency has acquired and uses dozens of drones to protect police units patrolling dangerous roads and to locate criminals on the run.

Last week, drones helped the state police and the Mexican National Guard locate three drug cartel camps in different parts of Chihuahua.

Donald Trump 'Fully Briefed' on Alien Life as White House Orders Release of Secret UFO Evidence

07 February 2026, 12:12 PM GMT

The thing about Area 51 is that it never really belonged to the desert. It belongs to the American imagination: a horizon line where secrecy turns into theatre, where a chain-link fence becomes a promise.

Now a sitting congressman says he has been told he may finally get in — because the White House wants it. Or, at least, wants to be seen to want it.

The Politics of 'Disclosure'

In an interview on the Jan. 30 episode of the Aliens Last Night podcast, Missouri Republican Eric Burlison claimed the Trump White House had leaned on the Department of Defense to facilitate congressional visits to tightly restricted locations linked — by rumour, whistleblower accounts and decades of cultural obsession — to UFO programmes.

Burlison put it bluntly: 'The White House has told the DoD to make it happen,' adding that the administration's involvement amounted to backing his request and telling Pentagon officials to 'do what you can to make it happen.'

It is an arresting line, partly because it sounds like power being used in a strangely tabloid direction, and partly because it is so careful. No declassification order.

No document dump. No dramatic Oval Office address. Just a nudge, described on a podcast that exists in the same online ecosystem as grainy clips, conspiratorial subreddits and the endless monetisation of mystery.

Burlison, for his part, is not some lone crank shouting into the ether. He serves on the House Committee on Oversight and Accountability, according to his official congressional biography, and he has positioned himself publicly as a pro-transparency voice.

He is also listed as a Republican member of the House Oversight Committee's Task Force on the Declassification of Federal Secrets — a formal-sounding title that hints at a broader political strategy: take voters' appetite for hidden truths, then feed it something, anything, that looks like action.

Burlison told the podcast that gaining access to these sites could reveal 'unusual aircraft, materials, non-human bodies or archived records' that would prove 'unearthly beings are in fact real.'

He also described — again as a claim, not as evidence — an alleged object stored outside the United States so large that 'a building had to be built around it,' calling that overseas location potentially 'the final destination' of his push for access.

Whistleblowers and a Shortage of Proof

The problem is that the story's emotional momentum runs far ahead of its verifiable content. Burlison insists President Donald Trump has been 'fully briefed' on aliens, recovered craft dating to the 1940s and even 'non-human beings allegedly living among us.'

But the US defence establishment, in black-and-white terms, has repeatedly said it has found no verifiable evidence that the government possesses or has reverse-engineered extraterrestrial technology.

That tension — bold allegation versus official denial — is not new, but it has become unusually institutional.

In July 2023, former intelligence official David Grusch testified under oath at a House Oversight subcommittee hearing that he had been told of a 'multi-decade UAP crash retrieval and reverse-engineering programme' and that he had been denied access to it.

Grusch's claims were widely reported at the time, alongside Pentagon statements that it had not found verifiable information to substantiate allegations of crashed alien spacecraft.

The same hearing also gave space to pilots and veterans describing encounters they say were frequent enough to rattle professionals trained to identify objects in the sky.

Ryan Graves, for example, told lawmakers that UAP sightings were 'routine' yet under-reported — language that speaks less to little green men than to stigma, bureaucracy and the uneasy sense that something is happening in restricted airspace that institutions struggle to process in public.

If this sounds like a political gift, it is because it is.

'Disclosure' offers all the benefits of insurgent rhetoric — 'they've been lying to you' — with the additional advantage that it can never be fully settled, because the most seductive evidence is always, conveniently, just beyond the next locked door.

And yet Burlison has doubled down on turning the topic into something staffable and procedural. In March 2025, he announced that Grusch would join his office as a special advisor, praising his previous sworn testimony and framing the hire as part of a transparency drive.

That is a remarkable evolution for a subject that, not long ago, was dismissed as fringe entertainment.

What cannot be ignored is how neatly the spectacle fits the era's mood: distrust in institutions, hunger for grand narratives, and the sense that truth — real truth — must be hidden somewhere, guarded by men with badges and redacted folders.

Whether any promised visit produces anything more than another round of insinuation is the crux. Until there is hard evidence, the rest is politics dressed as revelation — compelling, clickable and stubbornly weightless.

Frightening UFO Encounter Reported Outside Idaho Bagel Shop

February 6, 2026

ayys in the dough?

A north Idaho individual has come forward with a claim that an unidentified flying object appeared outside a Moscow bagel shop. The incident was reported to a Washington State center for UFO investigations.

Moscow is home to the University of Idaho and is located near the Washington border. Bagel shops are popular spots to gather with friends, especially in college towns.

A Main Street bagel and deli shop in the city was the scene of a recent incident in which a witness claimed to have been startled by an object that appeared for approximately 5 minutes and moved at speeds estimated between 70 and 100 miles per hour.

The incident occurred on January 27, but wasn't reported until January 29.

The National UFO Reporting Center (NUFORC) in Seattle recently finished its investigation into a matter that took place 290 miles east, just over the border in Idaho.

The witness claims to have been surprised by an object that appeared above Main Street, near Moscow Bagel and Deli, which was red and had a haze around it.

The incident report (#195857) published by the NUFORC further states that the object had a bright light and 'scattered into smaller pieces,' like a firework.

Did you happen to see anything strange over Main Street in Moscow on the afternoon of Tuesday, January 27? If so, please share with us your experience.

UFO intel documents stolen out of Russia reveal decade-long probes into alien encounters, abductions

Feb. 7, 2026, 8:22 a.m. ET

Landmark UFO documents smuggled out of Russia 30 years ago — and just publicly revealed — show the Soviets investigated thousands of reports of extraterrestrial craft and encounters with aliens.

Legendary reporter George Knapp, 73, quietly released on Jan. 16 documents he smuggled out of Russia in 1993 under the nose of the KGB after the fall of the USSR in 1991.

The translated documents reveal the shocking extent to which the USSR and the post-Soviet Russian Federation probed the persistent phenomenon — despite the communist government officially deeming UFOs a concoction of war-mongering “American imperialists” in 1953.

The USSR commissioned several studies of UFOs beginning with the “Network-AN” program in 1979, continuing with “Galaxy-MD” from 1981-1985, “Pluton 7” in 1989 and 1990, and the continuing “Thread 3” program.

The 1993 report claimed UFO sightings and interactions “increased greatly” after 1978.

The document included many narratives of purported UFO abductees and witnesses which the government deemed credible enough to warrant further investigation, including these:

  • On Feb. 13,1989, hundreds of people witnessed a massive 450-foot wide jellyfish-shaped UFO flying 300 feet above the ground in the city of Nalchik, between the Black Sea and the Caspian Sea.

A massive red light was seen descending over the city, then splitting into equidistant green lights. After 10 minutes, the lights merged and ascended into the sky.

Ninety minutes later, the massive UFO descended on the city with a smaller, more agile craft also swarming before disappearing into the night sky. Among the witnesses were military members, local airport staff and astronomers.

  • Anatoly Malishev, 18, claimed he was brought onboard a craft on July 21, 1975, and flown to the home planet of the alien pilots.

Malishev was sketching the sunset in the woods of the village of Blagoveshenka in the same Kabardino-Balkarian region when he saw what looked like a meteor falling from the sky.

A silver disc appeared and three humanoids, including one woman with chestnut colored hair, emerged. Their planet was three light years away, and had no star but was illuminated from within.

“They fastened detectors to my hands and legs, and put on my head something like a crown.” Their conclusion after the examination: “very strong nerves; mental faculties below the average.”

The Russian investigator said he continued contact with Malishev for years and described him as “honest, kind, sympathetic” with no desire to indulge in “fantasy.”

  • Earthlings allegedly came into contact with a race of giant aliens on June 27, 1979, in Derzhavinsk, Kazakhstan. A group of pioneers, including many children, were traveling from Berezka when they stopped to camp near a mound.

One group of boys, escorted by an adult, chased a flash on the edge of a forest and came upon 10-foot-tall, black, slender aliens with shining pink eyes. The next day, a girl and her teacher saw one of the giants sitting in a chair near the campsite.

Nearly a year after the incident, investigators spoke to the children and reported they all had the same recollection of events.

The documents drew no definitive conclusion on UFOs other than to say they warranted further study.

“By releasing these documents now, George Knapp is expanding the public record, showing not only how seriously Russia confronted the UFO phenomenon,” investigative journalist and Knapp’s “Weaponized” podcast partner Jeremy Corbell told The Post.

ETF Bets on Alien Tech With UFO Disclosure Strategy

Feb 06, 2026

One of the strangest ETFs to ever hit the market, the Tuttle Capital UFO Disclosure ETF (UFOD) aims to invest in companies that it says could benefit from “advanced or reverse-engineered alien technology.”

Yes, really.

Launched this week, UFOD is an actively managed ETF with a 0.99% expense ratio, and it leans heavily into the growing cultural and political attention around UFOs, now more commonly referred to as unidentified anomalous phenomena, or UAPs.

“Unidentified anomalous phenomena are now addressed through official government reports, congressional hearings, and statutory reporting requirements,” the issuer says on the fund’s website.

That much is true. In 2022, Congress held its first public hearings on UFOs in more than half a century, and some former intelligence officials have testified that they’ve observed unidentified anomalous phenomena.

One official went further, alleging the existence of highly classified government programs involving recovered non-human technology.

The Disclosure Day Thesis

The issuer frames these developments as building toward what UFO enthusiasts commonly refer to as “Disclosure Day,” the hypothetical moment when the U.S. government formally acknowledges the existence of non-human intelligence and releases what it knows about recovered technology.

The concept has circulated for decades in UFO and conspiracy-theory communities and has increasingly entered the cultural mainstream. There’s even a science-fiction movie from Steven Spielberg titled Disclosure Day slated for release later this year.

UFOD is designed to position for what the fund calls the spillover effects of such a disclosure. The ETF seeks exposure to industries it believes would receive a surge of funding and new technology in the aftermath of a government confirmation.

The strategy does not generally assume companies already possess such technology, instead focusing on which companies could benefit following a disclosure (though the prospectus does reference rumors of classified R&D work at certain contractors).

Long, Short, and AI-Driven

According to the prospectus, the fund invests in companies that “might have R&D programs rumored to work with classified technology, potentially leading to groundbreaking advancements,” as well as firms that could benefit from new energy sources or metamaterials inspired by non-human technology.

It also targets companies involved in detection and counter-UAP systems, such as advanced sensor platforms.

UFOD can also use swaps and short positions to bet against companies it believes could be made obsolete by “alien-level” technological breakthroughs. These include “conventional propulsion firms and old-guard energy providers that might lose ground to advanced technologies.”

Company selection is guided by an AI-driven ranking system that scores firms based on their potential to benefit from, or be disrupted by, advanced alien technology, though the portfolio manager retains discretion to override the model.

A Surprisingly Normal Portfolio

Despite the fund’s premise, its current portfolio looks fairly conventional.

UFOD holds 36 positions, and the lineup is heavily weighted toward defense and industrial stocks. Amentum, a government engineering and defense services firm, is the ETF’s largest holding at roughly 8%.

Lockheed Martin follows at just under 8%, with Northrop Grumman at about 6%. Other notable holdings include General Electric and Boeing at around 4% each, Tesla at 3.7%, and Palantir at 2.6%.

In other words, while the fund’s thesis is unconventional, the portfolio itself resembles a defense- and industrial-tilted strategy more than a bet on anything truly exotic.

A Familiar Playbook

UFOD comes from Tuttle Capital, which has a history of launching provocative ETFs. The firm previously rolled out the Tuttle Inverse Cramer Tracker ETF (SJIM), which attempted to short stocks recommended by CNBC personality Jim Cramer.

That fund, like this one, relied heavily on manager discretion, and was eventually shuttered amid a lack of demand and poor performance.

Tuttle is also behind the proposed Tuttle Government Grift ETF (GRFT), which has reportedly struggled to come to market after major exchanges, including the NYSE and Nasdaq, declined to list it.

Ultimately, UFOD is an unusually speculative strategy. Its success depends not only on the existence of transformative non-human technology, but also on the manager’s ability to correctly position a long/short portfolio around how capital would flow if such a disclosure ever occurred.

For now, at least, the ETF remains firmly grounded on Earth, even if its investment thesis is not.

Leaked Pentagon footage shows UFO making 'impossible' moves before going supersonic speeds

Updated: 22:13 EST, 6 February 2026

Shocking video of a UFO appearing to escape from a US military drone at impossible speed has been obtained from the Pentagon.

Jeremy Corbell, investigative journalist, documentary filmmaker, and co-host of the WEAPONIZED Podcast, revealed the recording on Tuesday, which allegedly shows a mushroom-shaped craft flying over Syria's Suwayda province in 2021.

In what could be compared to a scene in a science-fiction movie, the drone's camera watched as the object appeared to either be hovering or flying at normal speed before accelerating to near-light speed and vanishing from view.

According to Corbell and WEAPONIZED co-host George Knapp, the video was taken by an MQ-9 Reaper drone and obtained from a source in the intelligence community and the Pentagon.

It's the latest evidence of non-human craft, the investigative journalists said have been leaked from the Department of War's 'vault' containing military footage of UAP, which stands for Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena and is the new term for UFOs.

Officially, the Pentagon has stated there has never been any physical proof collected that would confirm the existence of UFOs or extraterrestrial beings.

However, the newly obtained video appeared to capture a clear example of what Corbell and Knapp called 'observable' behavior among non-human craft. In this case, that was instantaneous acceleration.

Once the Air Force drone's camera locks onto the UFO, the recording shows the object seemingly knowing it had been targeted as it begins to maneuver erratically to break the lock before instantly speeding off to the right of the camera.

In their breakdown of the drone footage, Corbell, Knapp, and guest analyst Marik von Rennenkampff watched as the incident was slowed down to just five percent speed to view what the naked eye couldn't catch in real time.

Even in extremely slow replays, the mushroom-shaped craft appears to warp away, stretching across the screen before completely disappearing from the drone's camera.

Rennenkampff, a journalist who specializes in UAP and national security issues, noted this wasn't a mistake by the camera shaking and losing sight of the UFO, as all of the background objects could be seen staying in the same positions they were in before the craft accelerated.

'The operator rapidly moves the camera to the right. You can see the whole background, everything, the entire scene shifts from right to left,' Rennenkampff explained.

'We don't see that when that object shoots off to the right.'

The investigators added that military personnel have described other craft appearing to instantly speed away at impossible speeds, calling the maneuver 'inhuman.'

'It breaks our ideas of physics that something can do that,' Corbell added in the February 3 podcast episode.

The WEAPONIZED Podcast hosts emphasized the authenticity of the video, noting that it came straight from military archives that labeled it as a genuine UAP, and added that the camera used advanced technology that accumulates more data than a standard camera or an everyday person's smartphone.

Rennenkampff pointed out that the object flying near the border of Syria and Jordan was also not a drone, revealing that even in an infrared camera, the shape of a man-made drone and the exhaust from its engine would be clearly visible.

'That most certainly does not look like any kind of conventional aircraft um, that that I can think of,' the journalist said.

The lack of any exhaust or heat trails as the UFO blasted off out of range was yet another 'observable' UFO researchers look for - known as hypersonic velocities without signatures.

It essentially means an object was seen moving at speeds exceeding Mach 5 (3,800 mph) with no sonic booms, heat trails, visible exhaust, or other typical signs of high-speed travel.

The other observables include UFOs instantaneously becoming invisible, also known as cloaking; UFOs moving from space or the sky to the ocean seamlessly, known as trans-medium travel; and UFOs displaying anti-gravity technology as they hover above the ground.

Rennenkampff pushed back on the thought that the object may an advanced aircraft from an American adversary such as China, saying that if China had such a weapon, they would be able to attack anywhere in the world without warning.

'If China has this kind of technology, we're all screwed. I'll just be out be honest with you. We're totally screwed. You can just drop a nuke anywhere in the world instantaneously,' he warned.

'And beyond that, what would China be doing flying ultra-advanced technology over the Syrian desert? They have there's absolutely no reason for them to be doing that.'

Sick and tired of these games played against the people.

When it comes to children there needs to be ZERO tolerance and the death penalty for the guilty monsters. Enough is enough.
