For attorneys that FA…..you can give them an FO known as a Bar Grievance. It is an official complaint with the bar for violating ethical standards.
The BAR review will toss your complaint in the shredder and send you a standard form letter saying they found no violation.
BUT, they still must notify their bonding company about the grievance. The bonding co will take notice and may raise his rates, or the law firms rates.
Three bar grievances in a year and the attorney will be unable to find bonding.
Five grievances collectively and a law firm will be unable to find bonding….so file several but separate them by several weeks or they will all be considered as one grievance…..juss sayin…
