Ukraine Hits Russian Drone Nerve Centers and Logistics Networks

Feb 10, 2026 18:14

Ukraine’s Armed Forces have struck multiple Russian military sites, including elite drone units, logistics hubs, and a command post on Russian soil, according to a February 10 report from the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Ukrainian defense units conducted a series of precision strikes on February 9–10, aimed at degrading Russia’s drone warfare capabilities and support infrastructure.

Among the most notable targets was a command post belonging to the “Rubikon” UAV center—considered one of the most advanced Russian drone formations.

According to Ukraine’s General Staff, the Rubikon-affiliated facility was hit near the occupied settlement of Vysoke in Zaporizhzhia region.

The unit is described by Ukrainian officials and defense analysts as well-funded and capable, often associated with increased logistical challenges for Ukrainian troops in contested areas.

Another key target was a drone pilot training and FPV drone manufacturing center near Komysh-Zoria, also in occupied Zaporizhzhia. In the same region, Ukrainian forces struck a personnel concentration site near the village of Khliborobne.

In occupied Donetsk region, Ukrainian strikes impacted multiple targets: a Russian repair unit near Yalta and a field fuel and lubricant depot near Fedorivka.

Notably, Ukraine also conducted a strike across the border into Russia’s Kursk region. A UAV command post near the village of Tyotkino was reportedly hit, marking another instance of cross-border Ukrainian drone activity aimed at military infrastructure.

“The scale of damage and Russian losses is currently being assessed,” the Ukrainian General Staff stated. It added that systematic operations targeting Russia’s military infrastructure would continue as part of efforts to reduce the adversary’s combat potential.

Rubikon, the Russian drone unit named in the strikes, has appeared in open-source intelligence and Ukrainian reports as an elite formation specializing in FPV and reconnaissance drone operations.

Its presence has been linked to operational challenges for Ukrainian units, particularly in logistics and mobility near front-line areas.

Earlier, on February 1, Ukrainian forces carried out a coordinated wave of strikes targeting Russian drone command centers, repair facilities, and troop concentrations in both occupied territories and within Russia’s Kursk and Bryansk regions, according to Ukraine’s General Staff.

Report: Senior IDF and Lebanese Army officers held a secret meeting in Florida

February 10, 2026

A report circulating in regional and Israeli media claims that senior officers from both the Israel Defense Forces and the Lebanese Army quietly met in Florida under U.S. mediation.

While neither military has confirmed the story, several outlets — including Lebanon’s Al‑Akhbar, Al‑Jazeera Arabic, and Israeli sites such as Ynet and N12 — have repeated the claim, each citing unnamed diplomatic or security sources.

The United States, which maintains close ties with both armies, is described as the organizer of the alleged meeting.

If such a meeting did take place, it would represent an unusual moment of direct contact between two militaries that normally communicate only through UNIFIL intermediaries.

The timing is notable: tensions along the Israel–Lebanon border remain high, with daily exchanges of fire and tens of thousands of civilians displaced on both sides.

Washington has been pushing hard to prevent a broader Israel–Hezbollah war, and a discreet U.S.‑hosted meeting would fit within that diplomatic effort.

The agenda of the reported talks has not been disclosed, but the issues both sides urgently face are well known.

IDF strikes Hezbollah in response to ‘repeated’ truce violations

Preventing a full‑scale conflict would be at the top of any such discussion.

Both militaries have strong incentives to avoid miscalculation, and a direct channel — even a temporary one — could help clarify red lines and reduce the risk of unintended escalation.

Another likely topic is the future of southern Lebanon under UN Security Council Resolution 1701, which calls for the Lebanese Army to deploy south of the Litani River and restrict Hezbollah’s armed presence near the border.

The United States has been promoting a phased de‑escalation plan that includes adjustments to deployments, confidence‑building steps, and a more robust role for UNIFIL.

Cross‑border fire, civilian displacement, and humanitarian access would also be natural points of discussion, given the scale of disruption on both sides of the frontier.

The report has not been independently verified, but the idea of quiet U.S.‑mediated military contact reflects the urgency of the moment.

US forces in Qatar base put Patriot missiles into truck launchers - Reuters

American forces in Qatar's al-Udeid air base, the biggest US base in the region, put Patriot air defense missiles into truck launchers amid heightened tensions with Tehran, Reuters reported on Tuesday citing satellite imagery.

"Patriot missiles were placed in M983 Heavy Expanded Mobility Tactical Trucks (HEMTT) rather than semi-static launcher stations– which could allow them to be less easily targeted by Iran or deployed more quickly if needed," the report said.

"The decision to do so gives the Patriots much greater mobility, meaning they can be moved to an alternative site or repositioned with greater speed," William Goodhind, a forensic imagery analyst with Contested Ground, told Reuters.

US sanctions individuals, firms over links to Iran-backed Hezbollah

The United States on Tuesday imposed fresh sanctions targeting individuals, companies and vessels accused of supporting Iran-backed Hezbollah of Lebanon, the Treasury Department said.

The Office of Foreign Assets Control (OFAC) added two individuals and five entities to its Specially Designated Nationals (SDN) list under counterterrorism authorities, citing their alleged links to Hezbollah’s financial and commercial networks.

Among those designated was Russian national Andrey Viktorovich Borisov and Lebanese national Mohamed Nayef Maged who is linked to Al-Qard al-Hassan Association, a financial institution affiliated with Hezbollah that the United States has previously designated for facilitating the group’s financial activities.

In addition to the two individuals, OFAC designated several companies across multiple jurisdictions that it said are tied to Hezbollah.

Brilliance Maritime Ventures S.A., registered in Panama in 2023, was added to the SDN list for its alleged links to Hezbollah. The designation also covers the bulk carrier BRILLIANCE, a Panama-flagged vessel built in 1999 and linked to the company.

In Lebanon, JOOD SARL, also known as “JUD,” was designated. The company, established in 2025 and registered in Chiyah, Baabda, is listed as operating in the wholesale trade of jewelry, watches and precious metals. OFAC said it is linked to Hezbollah.

Two Turkey-based firms were also sanctioned: Platinum Group International Dis Ticaret Limited Sirketi, registered in Istanbul in 2024, and Sea Surf Shipping Limited, based in Tuzla, Istanbul. Both were identified as subject to secondary sanctions for their alleged connections to Hezbollah.

The designation of Sea Surf Shipping Limited was accompanied by the listing of the general cargo vessel LARA, flagged in St. Kitts & Nevis and built in 2000, which OFAC said is linked to the company.

Bodies piled up, moved by bulldozers after Karaj massacre, witnesses say

Bulldozers moved piles of bodies of those killed in the Gohardasht district of Karaj during the January crackdown on nationwide protests, in what witnesses describe as a deliberate attempt to instill fear after corpses were stacked in public squares.

A resident of Gohardasht told Iran International that on the nights of January 8 and 9, large numbers of armed forces were lying in ambush in alleyways as heavy gunfire echoed through the area.

According to the witness, teenagers struck in the head and face by pellet rounds sought refuge inside residential buildings. The resident said at least 16 people were killed in the alley where he lives, adding that security forces also fired at the doors of apartment buildings.

Another eyewitness said that around a nearby hospital, injured women with severe facial wounds were seen seeking help. On Dariush Street, he said, a DShK heavy machine gun was deployed and crowds were sprayed with gunfire.

He said that at the First Square of Gohardasht, bodies were piled on top of each other to create an atmosphere of terror before being moved away with bulldozers.

The witness said the bodies were collected around midnight on January 8, but freezing temperatures left congealed blood visible on the ground. The following night, January 9, the killings intensified, he added.

Senior lawmaker says Tehran rejects zero enrichment

A Iranian lawmaker said Iran had informed the United States ahead of negotiations that talks would be restricted to the nuclear issue.

“Before holding negotiations with the Americans, we told them that we are only willing to negotiate on the nuclear matter,” Esmail Kowsari told the Tehran-based Didban Iran website on Tuesday.

Kowsari, a member of parliament’s national security and foreign policy committee, stressed that Tehran would not accept eliminating enrichment under any deal.

“We will by no means accept zero enrichment, and even if an agreement is reached, it will be solely on the nuclear issue,” the IRGC general-turned-lawmaker said.

Kowsari also voiced pessimism about the talks’ prospects.

South Korean police raid spy agency over drone flight into North

February 11, 2026

SEOUL — Investigators raided South Korea's spy agency on Tuesday as they probed possible government links to a drone incursion over the North Korean border.

Pyongyang says it shot down a surveillance drone near its southern industrial hub of Kaesong in January, accusing Seoul of dispatching the aircraft to glean intelligence on "important targets."

South Korea initially denied any official involvement, with President Lee Jae Myung saying such an act would amount to "firing a shot into the North."

A joint military-police task force said on Tuesday it was investigating three active-duty soldiers and one spy agency staffer in an effort to "thoroughly establish the truth."

Investigators raided 18 locations of interest, including the Defense Intelligence Command and the National Intelligence Service.

The North Korean military downed a drone carrying "surveillance equipment" in early January, according to a statement published by the state-run Korean Central News Agency.

Photos showed the wreckage of a winged craft scattered across the ground next to a collection of gray and blue components that allegedly included cameras.

The drone had stored footage of "important targets," including border areas, a military spokesman said in the statement.

Lee has taken a softer approach to North Korea than his hardline predecessor Yoon Suk Yeol, who was accused of using unmanned drones to scatter propaganda leaflets over the North in 2024.

He has vowed to mend ties with Pyongyang by stamping out provocations, and has even suggested a rare apology may be warranted.

"I feel I should apologize, but I hesitate to say it out loud," the president said in December.

"I worry that if I do, it could be used as fodder for ideological battles or accusations of being pro-North," he added.

South Korea's Unification Minister Chung Dong-young has suggested the January drone incursion may have involved government officials still loyal to Yoon.

Three civilians have already been charged for their alleged role in the drone scandal.

One of them has publicly claimed responsibility, saying he acted to detect radiation levels from North Korea's Pyongsan uranium processing facility.

Yoon is currently standing trial on charges he illegally sent drones into North Korea to help create the pretext for declaring martial law in late 2024.

Prosecutors have accused the former leader of instructing Seoul's military to fly drones over Pyongyang and distribute anti-North leaflets in an attempt to provoke a response.

They said Yoon and others "conspired to create conditions" that would allow him to tighten his grip on power by declaring martial law.

Yoon's disastrous attempt to overturn civilian rule ultimately failed, and the 65-year-old was impeached and ousted from office in April last year.

He will be sentenced on charges of insurrection next week.

In retaliation for propaganda dumps, North Korea in 2024 sent scores of trash-filled balloons to scatter waste across the South.

From Backpacks to Bird's-Eye: Drones Are Transforming EOD

Feb. 10, 2026

From above, the drone's camera streamed a clear view of the scene before the robot made it halfway there.

It's a new kind of flight reshaping how explosive ordnance disposal airmen execute their mission — and how the Air Force strengthens readiness through innovation.

Before the adoption of modernized drones, EOD teams relied primarily on heavy robotic platforms to inspect potential explosive threats.

The systems still provide valuable standoff capability but require vehicle transport and setup time, limiting their use during operations on foot. In those scenarios, airmen may have to approach hazards themselves.

Compact and portable drones can be carried in a backpack and launched within minutes. Operated from a safe distance, they stream real-time imagery that helps airmen assess hazards without approaching them.

The drones give teams an unmatched view of any environment. They combine optical and thermal cameras for day or night operations with advanced 3D scanning that produces precise digital models in minutes, whether documenting blast sites or mapping entire airfields.

Drones can be used to establish a visual reference of a runway and to collect updated imagery after an incident.

The data helps civil engineers quickly identify changes or damage, supporting timely clearance actions and repair planning to resume air operations.

Built-in artificial intelligence also allows drones to operate with a high degree of autonomy. The system can identify and track targets, hold position, and navigate around obstacles with minimal operator input.

These capabilities boost mission tempo and efficiency while augmenting the work of airmen, keeping them out of harm's way and allowing them to focus on critical decision-making.

Drones have not yet replaced every function of traditional robots, but the two technologies currently complement one another on the battlefield.

"The big thing doesn't currently have is manipulation," an EOD airman explained. "I can't pull a battery off something or flip something over [with a drone], but a robot can."

Still, drones are increasingly assuming tasks once limited to ground platforms, expanding options for commanders and reinforcing the Air Force's ability to adapt faster than its adversaries.

Introducing any new technology brings challenges, but EOD airmen at Hurlburt Field have moved quickly to overcome them.

Through local innovation projects, the team acquired and tested drones early, giving them a head start in integrating the capability into daily operations.

"We've had the ability to work through a lot of the growing pains much faster," said an airman assigned to the 1st Special Operations Wing. "Now we're able to disseminate those lessons throughout the career field."

That progress continues as airmen refine training and certification standards while identifying where drones provide the most operational value.

"A lot of this is going to fluctuate based on use cases, because we all have a general idea of how we'd want to use this … but there's still a lot to learn," said another EOD airman.

Wing airmen emphasized that the success of drone integration depends as much on institutional understanding as on technology itself.

They said progress requires high-level advocacy to navigate the policies and risk assessments that come with operating in shared airspace, along with trust between ground units employing the systems and aviation communities managing them.

As one airman explained, the future fight will rely on an enterprise that adapts quickly and learns from those already proving what's possible.

At Hurlburt Field, EOD airmen are showing how small systems can yield big results. The shift from large ground robots to backpack-sized drones is transforming how they detect, respond and recover — bringing speed, precision and safety to every mission.

"These are coming. This is the way of the future," said another airman. "If it's not in your shop currently, it probably will be in the very near future. Get ready."

Nuclear Missile Guard Claims Chilling UFO Abduction and 'Non Human' Encounter at US Base

10 February 2026, 11:45 AM GMT

A chilling Cold War era tale has resurfaced after an Air Force veteran claimed he was paralysed by a hooded non human figure before being taken aboard a UFO at a secret nuclear missile facility.

Richard Barth, a former missile security guard stationed at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California in 1964, has shared a detailed account of a terrifying encounter involving strange entities, lost time, and alleged messages about humanity's future.

His claims have reignited debate over mysterious incidents reported around nuclear weapons sites during one of the most tense periods in modern history.

Night Shift Encounter at Fog Covered Missile Site

Barth said the encounter began during a lonely night shift guarding a Minuteman missile installation.

The base was shrouded in thick fog, and he described sitting alone in a guard shack when he noticed a shadow emerging from the mist.

At first he believed it was a fellow serviceman, but as the figure approached he claimed he realised it was not human.

According to Barth, the figure had an unusual appearance and seemed to exert a powerful mental force. He said he felt frozen and unable to move as the presence drew closer.

Moments later he reported losing control of his body and experiencing a sudden lapse in time. His next clear memory, he claimed, was waking aboard what he described as a flying saucer hovering above the base.

Four Entities and Alleged Messages About the Universe

Barth alleged that four entities surrounded him inside the craft. He described them as having large heads, small bodies and dark eyes.

He claimed the beings communicated with him telepathically and shared disturbing insights about humanity's technology and the dangers of nuclear weapons.

During the encounter, he said he was shown views of the base and the surrounding area from above, reinforcing his belief that the craft had advanced surveillance abilities.

Barth also claimed the beings delivered warnings about the destructive potential of nuclear arms and suggested that extraterrestrial observers were monitoring missile facilities around the world.

While critics question the credibility of such accounts, Barth has insisted that he kept the story private for decades due to fear of ridicule and potential repercussions within the military.

Strange UFO Activity Around Nuclear Tests in 1964

The veteran's story has gained attention partly because it coincides with other unusual reports from Vandenberg Air Force Base during the same period.

In September 1964, another serviceman reportedly captured footage of a mysterious object interacting with an Atlas missile during a test launch.

The object allegedly fired beams of light at a dummy warhead before the test payload fell from its path.

Barth also recalled witnessing a glowing yellow orb tracking a missile during an earlier launch, an incident that a superior allegedly warned him never to discuss.

Researchers who study UFO encounters around nuclear facilities argue that these recurring stories suggest a pattern of unexplained aerial activity linked to advanced weapons testing.

Skepticism Remains as Story Fuels UFO Debate

Despite the dramatic nature of the claims, many experts remain cautious. Skeptics note that extraordinary experiences can be influenced by stress, memory gaps or Cold War era secrecy, which often created an atmosphere of fear and speculation.

No official military records confirm Barth's alleged abduction, although he has presented service documents verifying his presence at Vandenberg during the time in question.

Supporters argue that the consistency of accounts from multiple veterans deserves serious investigation. They say the overlap between UFO sightings and nuclear facilities raises questions about surveillance and unidentified technology.

Whether viewed as a genuine encounter or a deeply personal interpretation of a stressful moment in history, Barth's story continues to fascinate believers and critics alike.

His testimony has added yet another layer to the long running mystery surrounding unexplained phenomena at some of the most heavily guarded military sites in the world.

Steven Spielberg Answers if Aliens Are Real Ahead of New UFO Movie

February 10, 2026

In the build-up to his next directorial venture, Disclosure Day, which once again deals with extraterrestrial beings, Steven Spielberg has shared his views on whether the concept of aliens is fact or myth.

The visionary filmmaker, who is currently occupied with promoting his upcoming film, revealed that he has always been fascinated by what’s out there and believes it for certain that humans aren’t alone in this universe.

Steven Spielberg is convinced ‘there is life off this planet’

The multiple Academy Award-winner opened up about the much-discussed topic of aliens, establishing that their existence is a much more probable outcome.

In a recently released Disclosure Day featurette, Steven Spielberg started off by highlighting how unique his filmography is. He noted, “I’ve always been fascinated with things that cannot be explained.

And I’ve made a lot of movies about things that can’t be explained, from sharks to saucers.”

Spielberg then switched to the topic of aliens, which will also serve as the basis of his upcoming movie, Disclosure Day.

“When I was just a little kid, I remember developing a real curiosity about the sky at night, and what’s happening up there. And also, not the possibility, but the guarantee that there is life off this planet,” he said.

The Jaws director added, “People’s questions about what is not only going on in our skies, but what is going on in our worlds, in our realities, has reached a critical mass of people’s complete fascination with ‘Are we alone, or are we not alone?’

And if someone knows we’re not alone, why haven’t we been told?”

Similar to humans’ knowledge about aliens, not much is known regarding the plot of Steven Spielberg’s forthcoming feature.

Regardless, the movie features a star-studded cast, including Emily Blunt, Josh O’Connor, Colin Firth, Eve Hewson, Colman Domingo, Wyatt Russell, and Elizabeth Marvel, among others.

Disclosure Day is currently on track to hit theaters on June 12, 2026.

Watch: Odd Metallic Orb Filmed Over Colombian Village

February 09, 2026

A curious piece of footage from Colombia shows a silver orb floating through the sky to the astonishment of witnesses watching the weird object from the ground.

The sighting reportedly occurred on January 29th in the community of Andinapolis as the witness and a friend were filming a video of them cutting down a tree.

Their endeavor was suddenly interrupted when they spotted a metallic-looking sphere slowly ascending in the sky.

To their amazement, the object then accelerated away from the witnesses, who ran after the UFO as it eventually disappeared behind some trees.

Since the intriguing footage appeared online, many have likened the silvery object seen in the video to the controversial 'Buga Sphere,' an alleged alien object recovered in Colombia last April and subsequently trumpeted as potential evidence for otherworldly visitors.

More skeptical observers, however, have suggested that the odd orb could have simply been an errant balloon or perhaps a drone.

What do you make of the peculiar sighting in Andinapolis? Weigh in with your thoughts at the C2C Facebook page.

Two Military UFO Witnesses Break Decades of Silence

February 9, 2026

Two military witnesses from different countries and different decades have just gone public for the first time with strikingly similar UFO encounter accounts.

A former Royal Navy sailor and a former U.S. Air Force security guard, who have never met and served decades apart, are both describing nonverbal communication from nonhuman beings during their respective encounters.

Both interviews were released on the same day and both men say they kept silent for decades before deciding this was the moment to speak.

In an interview released by the UAP Files Podcast a former Royal Navy sailor using the pen name John Seer described an incident from 1980 in which his warship’s radar detected a solid object while operating in the North Atlantic.

The podcast host confirmed he personally verified Seer’s Royal Navy service credentials before the episode aired. When Seer stepped onto the bridge, he observed a disc-shaped object at the ten o’clock position off the bow, shining light down on the sea.

Multiple personnel witnessed it. Fighter jets were scrambled, and according to Seer, the object shot away at a 45-degree angle, leaving a vapor trail, before the aircraft could reach it.

The lead pilot confirmed the sighting over the radio as an unidentified flying object in a formal exchange with the ship’s captain.

What Seer never told anyone for 45 years was that while standing on the bridge, he felt the crew being scanned and then received a direct nonverbal communication.

He described a visual flash appearing in front of his eyes showing a gray face with a blue tinge of light and three figures in the background. According to Seer, the message conveyed was, “We are your children’s children.

From the sea and sky.” He says it was not delivered in English or any language, but arrived as knowledge, as though he already knew it.

The experience was accompanied by a wave of emotion he recognized from a near-death experience at age nine, when a severe head injury put him in a coma and he says he was sent back by an entity that told him he had more to do.

He says information continued to surface over the following 45 years in what he calls broken dreams.

Seer chose to come forward after a cancer diagnosis four years ago. He had received a vivid dream at age 36 warning him he would become seriously ill at 56.

He changed his lifestyle, and when the tumor was found, it had not spread and he did not need chemotherapy. He told the UAP Files Podcast that after cancer, “it changes your whole understanding of everything.”

He has since written a book titled Told, Messages From A Greater Conscious Or The Ramblings Of A Madman.

Separately, Jesse Michels of American Alchemy interviewed Richard Barth, a former Air Force air policeman assigned to the 4392nd Combat Defense Squadron at Vandenberg Air Force Base in California.

According to Barth, during a foggy night in September 1964, a humanoid figure approached his guard post at a Minuteman missile site in D Sector, roughly 20 miles from the main base.

He attempted to draw his weapon but found his right arm paralyzed.

After blacking out, Barth says he regained awareness inside a circular room aboard a craft, where a being communicated nonverbally, instructing him to look through a transparent circle in the floor that showed the ground below.

Four figures with large heads, proportionate necks, and large dark eyes sat across from him. He later found himself on the floor of the guard shack, where the being cradled his head and communicated an apology, explaining they needed access to the missile electronics.

The being then conveyed that Earth was important to them, nuclear war would not be allowed, and that multiple nonhuman species exist with varying intentions. Barth did not recover the full memory until two weeks later when it came flooding back upon waking.

Years after the encounter, a small metallic object came out of his nose, and during later surgery for a deviated septum, his surgeon found something unusually hard in his right nostril that he had never encountered in decades of practice. It was discarded before it could be examined.

Researcher Robert Hastings, author of UFOs and Nukes, personally vetted Barth’s account by reviewing his DD-214 service record and independently contacting three of Barth’s friends who all confirmed the same details.

Of the more than 150 veterans Hastings has interviewed, only eight described direct contact with beings, and Barth is one of them.

Notably, that same September at the same base, Lieutenant Robert Jacobs reportedly filmed a UFO circling a dummy warhead during an Atlas missile test and firing beams of light at it before the warhead tumbled off course.

His commanding officer ordered him to never speak of it. According to testimony before the House Oversight Committee by former Air Force security officer Jeff Nuccetelli, five additional UAP incidents occurred at Vandenberg between 2003 and 2005, including an event known as the Vandenberg Red Square.

Both Seer and Barth describe the same method of communication, a direct transfer of knowledge without spoken language. Barth says you just know what it wants.

Seer says it comes in like knowledge, like you already knew it. Both experienced delayed recall, both kept quiet for decades, and both chose this moment to go on the record.

These interviews arrive at a time when the UAP disclosure conversation is accelerating through congressional hearings and military whistleblower testimony.

When two people who have never met, from different armed forces and different continents, describe the same form of communication and walk away with messages about humanity’s relationship to these beings and to our own weapons, it raises a question worth considering about whether these accounts should continue to be treated as isolated events or as part of a much larger pattern.
