FDA refuses to review Moderna’s application for mRNA flu vaccine, company says

Meg Tirrell

Moderna said theFDA's refusal was inconsistent with previous feedback from the agency.. Too Bad AW’s)

The US Food and Drug Administration has refused to accept an application from Moderna to review its first mRNA seasonal flu vaccine, the company said Tuesday,in another setback for the technology that’s been a target of some Trump administration health officials.(it’s not Trump, it’s your scientists are evil and killed millions around the world, with your last vaccine.)

The agencytold Moderna that its application didn’t contain an “adequate and well-controlled” trial because the control arm didn’t reflect the “best-available standard of care in the United Statesat the time of the study,” according to a letter dated February 3 that Moderna posted online.

The company said that the refusal was inconsistent with previous feedback from the agencyand that it had requested a meeting with FDA officials to understand how to proceed. (Call to digg on the scientists and company heads that lied to the world, where they killed millions WW. The majority are still suffering.)

The complete stunnerhere is at no point in any of this did anybody say that it was not adequate” to run its clinical trial the way it had discussed with the agency, Moderna’s president, Dr. Stephen Hoge, told CNN on Tuesday. (I’m stunned by your corrupted scientists, admin and upper mgmt didn’t shut this death shot down during Covid, but you got it approved. (Can you consider the scientistsKNEW, about the death coming)

CNN has asked the FDA for comment.

The company used a standard-dose seasonal flu vaccine called Fluarix as a comparator in a 40,700-person clinical trial to demonstrate the experimental mRNA vaccine’s safety and efficacy. Moderna said the FDA had agreed with that plan in April 2024 but suggested the company also include data comparing its vaccine with an approved high-dose flu vaccine for people over 65, which the company said it did. ==Too bad CNN we don’t care what the

Moderna added that as recently as August, in a meeting before it submitted its application for approval of the vaccine, the FDA suggested that it would review the filing and assess issues with the comparator during that process.

But last week, the agency refused to do the review at all, according to the letter. It was signed by Dr. Vinay Prasad, director of the FDA’s Center for Biologics Evaluation and Research, which oversees vaccine regulation.

Prasad was an outspoken critic of the government’s responseto Covid-19 before he was appointed to the FDA under US Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr. He claimed late last year without providing details that Covid-19 vaccines resulted in deaths of 10 children and has said the agency will change its vaccine approval process.

The administration also has withdrawn support for mRNA technology in infectious diseases; HHS canceled 22 projects worth about $500 million focused on mRNA vaccine development in August, claiming against evidence that “these vaccines fail to protect effectively against upper respiratory infections like COVID and flu.”

(Dear PDJT and RFKjr, put the pressure on Moderna till they confess they knew it would kill 100,000s or millions more in our country and world.

BTW Moderna was not some mistake on the vaccine, it wasn’t.

And the leadership, that had pushed this lie, Its time to sue companies that knowingly killed the young generation, most all in the teens and twenties)

Epstein accomplice proposes deal on Trump and Clinton

Convicted sex trafficker GhislaineMaxwell has offered to provide exonerating information in exchange for a pardon(no pardon and No clemency, G you are acting stupid )

Ghislaine Maxwell, the accomplice of the late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein, has offered to provide information reportedly exonerating US President Donald Trump and former President Bill Clinton in exchange for a grant of clemency.

The ex-girlfriend of the convicted pedophile is currently serving 20 years in jail for multiple offenses, including child sex trafficking. Maxwell has come under new scrutiny as lawmakers try to investigate how Epstein, a well-connected financier, was able to sexually abuse underage girls for years.

Both Trump and Clinton are pictured and mentioned in the Epstein files, but they deny any wrongdoing.

Maxwell refused to answer questions before the US House Oversight Committee on Monday. During a virtual appearance from prison in Texas, she invoked her Fifth Amendment right against self-incrimination. Maxwell’s lawyer, David Oscar Markus, stated that she would provide testimony if granted clemency.

”Both President Trump and President Clinton are innocent of any wrongdoing. Ms. Maxwell alone can explain why,” the attorney wrote on X.

Clinton and his wife, former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, are set to sit for depositions later this month.

House Oversight Committee Chair James Comer discouraged the president from granting clemency to Maxwell.

Maxwell is the only person convicted of crimes related to Epstein, despite numerous high-profile figures from politics and finance having been implicated in the scandal.

Critics have suggested she received favorable treatment when she was transferred to a different federal prison after a 2025 interview with the deputy attorney general, alleging she may have been in line for a potential pardon.

The White House has denied clemency is under consideration. When asked about a potential pardon in November, Trump suggested he had not thought about it.

Members of Congress began reviewing unredacted versions of the Epstein files on Monday. Following the review, Representatives Thomas Massie and Ro Khanna stated they had found at least six names inappropriately redacted from the public versions, suggesting they might reveal the names from the House floor.

The latest batch of documents released by the DOJ from the Epstein Estate has triggered political fallout in several countries, including the UK, where Prime Minister Keir Starmer is under pressure to resign due to his appointment of former UK envoy Peter Mandelson, who had links to Epstein.

NANCY GUTHRIE

.FIRST ACTIVITY IN BITCOIN ACCOUNT …

Kidnapper is From Tucson, Law Enforcement Believes

February 10, 2026 4:41 PM

Potentially big development in the Nancy Guthrie abduction … our law enforcement sources say whoever kidnapped her from her Arizona home is also from the Tucson area.

Multiple sources involved in the investigation tell TMZ … the operating theory is that the ransom notes were written by the kidnapper, and those notes provide clues on where the abductor lives.

TMZ has focused for several days on the alleged kidnapper's choice of media outlets to receive the letters. The first letter was sent to 2 Tucson TV stations and TMZ. The second letter was sent to only one of the Tucson stations.

Our law enforcement sources believe the person who wrote the ransom note was very familiar with the local stations … so much so that it leads them to believe the Tucson area is the abductor's home.

As we reported, the kidnapper's promising to return Nancy to Tucson within 12 hours of receiving the $6 million ransom … which means they're currently somewhere within a 700-mile radius of Tucson.

There were 2 ransom deadlines, both of which have passed … even though 'TODAY' host Savannah Guthrie tried reaching out to the kidnapper and offered to pay up.

Our sources say the images the FBI released Tuesday of the apparent kidnapper were just obtained by authorities … the FBI wasn't holding on to the images before releasing them. The feds got them and immediately blasted them out publicly.

Nancy was taken against her will on Feb. 1, and she has a pacemaker and needs daily medication.

Anyone with information is asked to contact 1-800-CALL-FBI or visit tips.fbi.gov … and there's a $50,000 reward being offered "for information leading to the recovery of Nancy Guthrie and/or the arrest and conviction of anyone involved in her disappearance."

Verizon and T Mobile excoriated for cooperating with Jack Smith — taking heat in Senate testimony.

Cell phone providers defend turning over lawmakers’ call records to Biden-era DOJ

Republicans on a Senate Judiciary Subcommittee had harsh words for Verizon, which had a contract with Capitol Hill.

The leaders of some of the largest cell providers are defending their decision to turn over lawmakers’ phone data to former special counsel Jack Smith.

At a Senate Judiciary subcommittee hearing Tuesday morning, AT&T’s David McAtee, T-Mobile’s Mark Nelson and Verizon Consumer’s Chris Miller — all general counsels for their respective companies — maintained they were bound by subpoenas from the Biden-era Justice Department, where Smith was investigating President Donald Trump’s efforts to overturn the 2020 election.

“The Special Counsel’s office never responded to that email, at least not substantively,” he said. “And ultimately, the office abandoned the subpoena, and no records were produced.

Miller conceded there was room to reevaluate his company’s practices in light of the fallout from Smith’s investigation.

“These were unprecedented circumstances, and while we fully complied with the law, we also acknowledge that we could have done better in terms of our process,” Miller said. “One year ago, we began working with the Senate Sergeant at Arms on changes to the handling of legal demands for official Senate lines. And we have expanded those changes to include personal and campaign lines.”

Ultimately, requests for phone data are a routine procedure in criminal investigations, and Smith has vehemently maintained that politics played no role in his work — including in a recent hearing before the House Judiciary Committee. He has also said that he would have made the same prosecutorial decisions, should the facts have been the same, with a Republican or Democratic former president.

But congressional Republicans — and, most notably, Trump — have carried deep animosity toward Biden-era DOJ officials who investigated and ultimately levied dozens of felony charges against the then-former president. Revelations last year that Smith sought to obtain phone records for sitting GOP members of Congress as part of his investigation into Trump’s election subversion efforts have only fanned the flames of outrage on Capitol Hill.

The Senate Must Use the Talking Filibuster to Pass the SAVE America Act

February 9, 2026

Washington, D.C.

Conservatives urge Senate Majority Leader John Thune and all Senate Republicans to use every procedural opportunity afforded to them, including forcing a talking filibuster, to pass the SAVE America Act.

There is no issue more critical to a securely functioning democracy than guaranteeing the sacred right of citizens to cast their votes. The SAVE America Act will ensure that proof of citizenship is required to register to vote, that non-citizens are stripped from the voter rolls, and that photo identification is required for every method of voting – including voting by mail. After the Biden administration let in millions of illegal aliens through lax border policies and loose law enforcement, passing this law has only become more critical.

Senate Democrats have indicated they will filibuster this legislation. The Senate provides for two ways to break a filibuster: by securing 60 votes to end debate, known as cloture, or by making Democrats talk. A talking filibuster is one of the Senate’s oldest traditions and has been used for centuries to break filibusters through physical exhaustion.

If Democrats are not going to provide the 60 votes necessary to end a filibuster by invoking cloture, we encourage Senate Republicans to force them to the floor and physically filibuster – that is, if they want to delay a simple majority vote on passage of the SAVE Act, they must continue to talk.

We acknowledge that a talking filibuster is difficult to sustain. It takes time, requires that Republicans parry procedural maneuvering from Democrats, keep up with an unpredictable voting schedule, and stay in Washington. In fact, Leader Thune has acknowledged that a talking filibuster is possible; he has simply said it is not a priority for Senate Republicans to spend so much time carrying it out.

We find that excuse unacceptable. There is nothing more vital to the maintenance of the republic – and few things more popular among both Republican and Democratic voters – than ensuring only American citizens cast votes.
