I must say, I am becoming very disappointed in Bondi. I was really, really hoping she was the person we needed as AG. I have read the posts about her past associations/connections, but I was still hoping that maybe Trump knew something we didn't. I just read a transcript of her spat with Massie re: redactions. Her first response was to minimize, when that didn't work she tried to divert, finally she resorted to name calling. As the saying goes, name calling is the last refuge of a failed argument.

I am not yet at the point of saying she needs to go, but this was a really bad look for her. Maybe there are things going on behind the scenes that require her to bide her time, but that is time she is running short on.

Maybe you're right, maybe not. Either way she did not come out of that spat with Massie looking better than she went in. I have my problems with him as well, so this isn't Massie good, Bondi bad. I just don't see any way to look at how the entire Epstein situation has been handled, from the binders to now, and come away concluding it has been anything but a disaster, and Trump bears some of that blame as well.

Yeah but the problem with that theory is that life goes on after the play ends, so saying it is all theater means nothing will improve, the pedos will still be in charge, etc. etc. I am not defeatist by nature so that explanation doesn't work for me.

I am not apathetic and I am looking beyond the story lines. None of that changes the fact that Bondi did not help herself, or Trump, the way she handled her interaction with Massie. If anything she made him look better. It is the difference between tactics and strategy. Wars are only won when both work.
