It’s Season 12’s “The Computer Wore Menace Shoes” from 2000. In it, Homer starts a gossip blog under the name Mr X. At first, he’s spilling real secrets from Springfield and getting loads of attention. But when the tips stop coming he starts making things up except for one story that turns out to be true. That one gets him kidnapped by a group of powerful people and gets him dumped on a strange secret island.

After he escapes, Homer writes that "creeps on an island somewhere are secretly running the world".
