Common sense would kill their gerrymander
Paper ballot is great for the election process through the transparency it ensures and also adds to community involvement in the process. Here in Australia we have paper ballots. I've scrutineered counting in many elections - anyone from the public can do this, with nomination from one of the candidates. It's always a great experience to get involved in the democratic process at such a local level. Machines kinda kill that experience.
