A cool thing about the roads of West Virginia is if you are driving west on I-64 (main interstate from VA to KY), the eastern drive in WV takes you increasingly through mountains (they start in VA), with more and more twists and turns. Once I was there in a snowstorm and it was not good. But keep going and then suddenty you see a golden dome.
It is the state capital and probably filled with utterly corrupt politicians, but it looks awesome.
Despite his flaws I like the guy.
I do think he might have learned from some greater engagement with literature.
