Water flows downhill,

The sun rises in the morning,

And every time the world is reduced to 1, a certain chain of events is set into motion

It's absolutely biblical, but most people have been fooled into believing that biblical things are some sort of supernatural event "above" and "beyond" the ordinary world.

Nobody would ever believe me if I was frank about what's going on, and frankly I wouldn't trust them if they did assert belief. It's just part of the nature of how this world works. The most trustworthy people recognize they don't know everything, and are perfectly fine with that.

I really love the Christian assertion that you can know of God, but you can't possibly know all of God. Hits the nail squarely on the head.

Not that I reject the reasons one arrives here.

The question becomes: What is your alternative?

The world runs on deeper principles than any language will ever be capable of accurately expressing. So then how would you propose arresting the operation of the whole world without trust anywhere in it?

The drive to erase uncertainty leads to interrupting processes which one relied upon, yet was never aware of.
