Thousands of cryptic messages tying Jeffrey Epstein to Vladimir Putin have been discovered in the latest release of files related to the late pedophile financier — raising a new theory about who he was really working for.

Emails showing unnamed sources discussing meetings between Epstein and the Russian president are prompting questions about whether the disgraced Wall Street figure may have trafficked girls from Russia in a state-backed effort to run the world’s “largest honeytrap” to snare the rich and the powerful.

Putin is named almost 1,000 times in the latest tranche of documents released Friday, while there are almost 10,000 references to Moscow.

People close to the Russian tyrant say he maintained his links to Epstein even after the financier’s 2008 conviction for engaging a child in prostitution.

Jeffrey Epstein is suspected of running the world's biggest "honeytrap" racket on behalf of Russia intelligence agency, the KGB. He even met Russian President Vladimir Putin after being convicted in 2008 for procuring a child for prostitution, The Daily Mail reported. More than three million new documents linked to Epstein were released, and there are1,056 documents with Putin's name in them. Further, there are 9,629 of them referring to Moscow.

Deceased financier Jeffrey Epstein allegedly played a key role in one of the largest known sexual blackmail operations connected to Russian intelligence, according to Daily Mail.

Journalists calculated that newly released documents in the Epstein case contain 1,056 references to Russia and Vladimir Putin, and 9,629 references to Moscow.

Citing intelligence sources, the British outlet reported on February 1 that Epstein’s private social network and parties were instrumental in collecting compromising material on high-profile Western political and business figures.

Daily Mail attributes its findings to sources within US and allied intelligence communities. These sources claim that Epstein was used in a classic “honeytrap” operation—a method where individuals are lured into intimate encounters with planted agents, with interactions secretly recorded for blackmail.

The materials obtained were allegedly funneled to Russian intelligence agencies. The report asserts that the operation involved Ghislaine Maxwell—currently serving a 20-year sentence for sex trafficking—who had ties to her father, Robert Maxwell, a businessman long suspected of cooperating with the KGB and Mossad in the 1970s.

Newly released documents from the Jeffrey Epstein case have sparked renewed attention to alleged connections between the late financier and high-level figures in Russia, including President Vladimir Putin and purported intelligence networks. A tranche of internal emails and communications unveiled by the US Department of Justice includes more than 1,000 references to Putin and nearly 10,000 mentioning Moscow, according to The Standard.

In one 2011 email according to the outlet, an unnamed intermediary writes that Epstein planned an “appointment with Putin” in Russia, with travel arrangements discussed through a contact identified only as “Igor.”
