don't know how that could justify a subpoena if it was really a suicide.

the way i see it, you're correct but missing something
each of those interlocking lanes is publicly at odds with the others. in order for them to all "play their role" on a grand scale, there must be a select few who know the truth. i would imagine there's no way for…a potus to directly communicate with LdR, for example, without exposing people to information which might confuse them
so there's a hub. a power nexus. a representative of the interest all those vectors of power.
who gets to pick that hub? what happens if one of the groups makes a move to disrupt the others?
it's like … take out the keystone, collapse the doorway … break down the door.
