Ukrainian mobilization enforcers open fire, pistol-whip draft resisters
19 Feb, 2026 11:08
A disturbing video circulating in Ukrainian media purportedly shows the latest episode of violent enforcement of military mobilization against an increasingly resentful population.
The incident on Thursday reportedly occurred in a village in Chernigov Region in western Ukraine. The clip shows a group of uniformed men confronting several civilians, including women.
One officer appears to kick a man in the face and throw another person, possibly a woman, to the ground before striking them in the head with his handgun.
His colleague rushes in to repeatedly punch the first target while others fire shots. Local police reported that officials apprehending a man evading military service had to defend themselves from unknown individuals.
The clip is one of several recent cases highlighting growing public animosity over mandatory conscription.
On Monday, members of a draft patrol in Odessa were filmed casually spraying a man in the face.
An eyewitness who sent the video to a city news channel claimed the recruiters were disappointed to find their target was over 60 and thus only eligible for voluntary enlistment.
On Tuesday, a conscription van – the tool which has given violent mobilization the nickname ‘busification’ – allegedly drove over a woman’s foot in Ternopol.
While Ukrainian officials claim most ‘busification’ videos online are fabrications, Kiev acknowledges the mobilization campaign is undermined by violent incidents.
Human rights ombudsman Dmitry Lubinets told lawmakers this month that his office is receiving an “avalanche” of complaints against draft officials, signaling a “systemic crisis.”
This week, football player Daniil Kolesnik was fired from his club and placed under nighttime house arrest after punching a draft official.
He maintains he was protecting his neighbor, who has an exemption, from assault by the draft squad and immediately reported the altercation to police.
Several athletes have praised Kolesnik, saying he is a good man and did nothing wrong. The Ukrainian military is suffering from acute manpower shortages, mass desertion, and high attrition in ongoing hostilities with Russia.

Russia attacked by drones and missiles, oil depot and thermal power plant hit
19.02.2026 10:50
In the Pskov region of the Russian Federation, a tank containing petroleum products caught fire after a drone attack on a local oil depot on Thursday night.
According to Ukrinform, the governor of the region, Mikhail Vedernikov, announced this, as reported by the Astra Telegram channel.
According to locals, the incident occurred at an oil depot in Velikie Luki.
Astra's analysis and witness footage confirmed a fire at the Velikie Luki oil depot after a drone attack in the Pskov region.
A protective net was erected over the tanks at the oil depot. Astra's OSINT analyst suggested that several drones breached this net, sparking a large fire.
Pskovnefteprodukt LLC owns the Velikie Luki oil depot. The facility stores petroleum products — diesel fuel, gasoline, and other types of petroleum products — for further shipment and distribution to a network of gas stations, enterprises, and transport companies.
Nastoyashchee Vremya reports, citing the Telegram channel “Pepel Belgorod,” that the Russian city of Belgorod and the surrounding region were left partially without power after a missile strike on energy facilities.
The power outage affected several streets in Belgorod and six villages in the suburbs. A partial blackout also occurred in the city of Shebekino and the surrounding area. It is reported that a strike at the Belgorod Thermal Power Plant caused the power outage.
The region's governor, Vyacheslav Gladkov, confirmed the attack, “extensive damage,” and partial loss of electricity and heat. According to him, the strike was carried out with missiles, not drones.
Meanwhile, the Russian Ministry of Defense claimed to have shot down 113 drones overnight over six regions of the aggressor country.
It is claimed that 50 drones were shot down over the Bryansk region, 35 over Smolensk, 12 over Tver, 10 over Novgorod, 4 over Leningrad, and another 2 UAVs over the Kaluga region.
As reported by Ukrinform, on the night of February 17, drones from the SSU's Special Operations Center “A” struck one of the largest manufacturers of explosives in Russia and Europe, the Metafrax Chemicals plant.

Israel hits Hezbollah terror sites across Southern Lebanon
Feb. 19, 2026
The Israel Defense Forces struck Hezbollah terror infrastructure sites across Southern Lebanon overnight Wednesday, targeting weapons storage facilities, missile launchers and military installations being used to plan attacks against Israel, according to the military.
As Israel braces for retaliation by Hezbollah and the prospect of a wider confrontation with Iran, Jerusalem has made neutralizing missile launchers and weapons depots a central aim of its campaign in Southern Lebanon.
The Iranian regime is pressuring its Lebanese terror proxy to join any future war with Israel and has sent Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi to Lebanon to shore up support, Ynet reported on Wednesday, adding that Jerusalem has warned the Shi’ite group it will face a “very painful” blow if it intervenes and is preparing for the possibility that other Iranian terror proxies could also enter the fray.
The sites struck on overnight Wednesday violated agreements between Israel and Lebanon, said the IDF, which vowed to continue operations against threats.
Despite a November 2024 ceasefire, Israel has retained a presence in Southern Lebanon and carried out limited strikes against Hezbollah, according to the military to prevent the terror army from rebuilding its military capabilities.
Lebanon’s government last year committed to disarming Hezbollah after a war with Israel in which the Iran-backed terrorist group suffered significant losses.
Hezbollah joined the fighting on Oct. 8, 2023—one day after Hamas led a terrorist invasion of southern Israel, killing, wounding and kidnapping thousands.
The Lebanese military will need at least four months to carry out the second phase of its plan to disarm the Hezbollah terrorist group and other non-state actors in the country’s south, Beirut said on Monday, according to AFP.
The second phase covers the area between the Litani and Awali rivers, roughly 40 kilometers (25 miles) south of Beirut, following the supposed completion last month of the first phase along the southern strip between the Litani River and the Israeli border.
Hezbollah Secretary-General Naim Qassem pushed back against the disarmament effort on Monday, calling the government’s focus on the issue “a grave sin” and urging officials to halt what he described as successive concessions to Jerusalem’s demands.
The Israeli Prime Minister’s Office in a Jan. 8 statement said that while Beirut’s efforts were “an encouraging beginning,” they were “far from sufficient” given Hezbollah’s ongoing Iran-aided rearmament efforts.
“The ceasefire agreement brokered by the United States between Israel and Lebanon states clearly, Hezbollah must be fully disarmed. This is imperative for Israel’s security and Lebanon’s future,” said Jerusalem.

European Parliament's president welcomed the European Union’s official designation of the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps as a terrorist organization, saying the move denies safe haven to those responsible for crimes against Iranian protesters.
“That means no safe haven for those responsible for heinous crimes against Iranian protesters. It means their funds in Europe will be frozen. And it prohibits Europeans from making any funds available to them,” Roberta Metsola wrote on X.
“It is the right step and the right signal. It is not business as usual,” she added.

Belgian DM defends Iran rally participation after envoy summoned
Belgium’s defense minister defended his participation in the Global Day of Action rally in Munich held in support of nationwide protests in Iran, after Iran summoned the Belgian ambassador in Tehran.
“The fact that our ambassador in Tehran was summoned is not the first time. It is the tried-and-tested tactic of a regime that lives on intimidation, blackmail, and hostage diplomacy,” Defense Minister Theo Francken said in a post on X.
“I spoke in Munich before 250,000 Persians in support of a peaceful and courageous people who have had to live for so many years under the theocratic yoke of the ayatollahs and mullahs,” he added, referring to the rally held following a call by exiled prince Reza Pahlavi.

Experts say Iran entering era of constant unrest
Iran is entering a phase of persistent unrest, driven by decentralized “minor triggers” and deepening economic and legitimacy pressures that repression alone may no longer contain, senior analysts said at Iran International's townhall in Washington DC.
Iran International's Bozorgmehr Sharafeddin and Mohammad Machine-chian, alongside political scientist Mohammad Ghaedi said the scale, persistence and decentralization of the unrest signal a structural rupture between state and society - one repression alone may no longer be able to contain.

UK has yet to approve US use of Diego Garcia for Iran strike - The Times
Britain has yet to grant permission for the United States to use the strategically located Diego Garcia military base if President Donald Trump orders a strike on Iran, over concerns such a move could breach international law, The Times reported on Thursday.
The British hesitation prompted Trump to withdraw support for Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s plan to transfer sovereignty of the Chagos Islands to Mauritius.
The Times said Trump’s reversal was tied to Britain’s reluctance to agree in advance to the use of British bases — including Diego Garcia and RAF Fairford in southwest England — for potential operations against Iran.
The White House is said to be drawing up detailed military plans for a potential strike on Iran that could involve those bases, the report said.
Under longstanding UK-US agreements, British approval is required for the use of UK bases in military operations.
Under a 2025 agreement, the UK would hand sovereignty of the Chagos archipelago to Mauritius while keeping a long-term lease on the strategically located Diego Garcia military base, which is also used by the United States.

US could be ready to strike Iran by Saturday - The Telegraph
The United States could be ready to launch air strikes on Iran by the weekend as aircraft and warships move into position, the Telegraph reported on Thursday, citing defense officials.
The report said officials briefed President Donald Trump that a buildup of fighter jets, refueling aircraft and naval forces would reach the necessary level for strikes within days.
It said a second carrier strike group led by the USS Gerald R. Ford was expected to reach the eastern Mediterranean soon, joining forces already in the region, including the USS Abraham Lincoln in the Arabian Sea.
The newspaper said Trump has not yet decided whether to order a strike, and that options presented to him include attacks on Iran’s nuclear facilities and other targets.

US personnel draw weapons on Lebanese officials following drone crash near Hamat base
19.02.2026 13:10
US personnel reportedly barred Lebanese authorities from accessing the wreckage of an unidentified unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) that crashed near the Hamat Airbase in northern Lebanon during the early hours of February 17, according to security sources cited by The Cradle. The drone, which was detected by security units at the base where US forces are stationed, crashed into a nearby forested area following an intervention.
Patrols from the Hamat municipal police and elements of the Lebanese Armed Forces (LAF) were immediately dispatched to the site to inspect the debris.
US personnel drew weapons against local officials
US personnel on the scene actively obstructed the investigation into the downed UAV. A security source reported that US soldiers drew their weapons to prevent Lebanese officials, including the local mayor, from accessing the crash site.
The US contingent justified the exclusion by citing security concerns, alleging that the drone might have been rigged with explosive booby traps.
While Lebanese authorities were unable to take custody of the UAV, it was subsequently reported that US officials informed them the craft was no longer at its initial discovery point.
Mayor rejects US general’s apology request
A US general stationed at the base reportedly contacted the Mayor of Hamat to offer an apology for the incident; however, the overture was rebuffed.
The mayor declined the request for a meeting, citing his objection to the conduct of the forces stationed at the base in northern Lebanon.
This latest violation of Lebanese airspace occurs as the Israeli military continues to breach the terms of a US-brokered ceasefire.
UNIFIL documents aggressive Israeli drone activity
In early February, units of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL) operating near Kafr Kila in southern Lebanon detected two UAVs.
One of the aircraft was reported to be carrying an unidentified object characterized as an “immediate threat.” The UAV reportedly dropped a sound bomb that detonated approximately 50 meters from UNIFIL troops before proceeding toward Israel.
The UN mission emphasized that the drone belonged to the Israeli military and had crossed the Blue Line in violation of UN Security Council Resolution 1701. The statement underscored that the use of armed UAVs in such a manner is unacceptable.
Israel commits over 12,000 violations post-ceasefire
Since Hezbollah suspended its attacks in November 2024, the Israeli military has reportedly violated Lebanese sovereignty more than 12,000 times.
This figure includes over 8,000 airspace violations and approximately 700 airstrikes. Israeli operations have resulted in the deaths of 343 Lebanese nationals and left nearly 1,000 others wounded. Reported civilian casualties include a significant number of women and children.
Israeli forces maintain a military presence at several border points within Lebanese territory, preventing more than 64,000 displaced persons from returning to their homes due to the extent of the destruction.
Katz defends military presence in Lebanese territory
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz stated on February 18 that the military presence at five points in Southern Lebanon was not a formal component of the ceasefire agreement but was a condition they had imposed, which the US had accepted.
This declaration coincides with reports from the Lebanese government indicating that the army will require at least four months to proceed with the next phase of the plan involving the disarmament of Hezbollah.

U.S. F-35C Shoots Down Iranian Drone Near Carrier in Arabian Sea
February 19, 2026 15:12
U.S. Forces Destroy Iranian Drone
According to UATV: In the Arabian Sea, a U.S. F-35C fighter jet shot down an Iranian Shahed-139 drone as it approached the aircraft carrier USS Abraham Lincoln.
The incident occurred during a routine mission, and military spokesperson Tim Hawkins confirmed the drone was destroyed in an act of self-defense to protect the carrier's personnel.
This marks a notable combat deployment for the advanced F-35C, which operates from the carrier's deck.
Iran's Response and Broader Implications
Following the event, Iran's mission to the United Nations declined to comment, while an Iranian news agency reported a loss of contact with the drone over international waters.
Concurrently, the President of Iran ordered the initiation of talks with the U.S. concerning Iran's nuclear program. This clash underscores the persistent regional tensions between the two nations and highlights the critical importance of security for naval operations.
The strategic Arabian Sea is a vital corridor for global energy shipments, making stability there a key international concern.
The downing of the drone could significantly impact the already strained U.S.-Iran relationship, particularly affecting the ongoing negotiations over Iran's nuclear activities.
As both countries demonstrate military readiness, regional tensions are escalating. Such incidents also risk affecting the security of crucial maritime trade routes and military operations in international waters, with potential consequences for global trade and regional stability.

Drone strikes repeatedly hit civilian areas in Sudan
February 19, 2026
Drone attacks carried out by the Sudanese Armed Forces (SAF) and Rapid Support Forces (RSF) are hitting civilian areas and critical infrastructure across Sudan, including schools, crowded markets, health care facilities, and water sources.
In the first two weeks of February, Doctors Without Borders/Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) teams treated 167 patients with penetrating injuries, including from drone shrapnel, as well as limb fractures and head injuries.
This pattern of attacks is placing civilians and humanitarian workers at grave risk. MSF is calling for their immediate protection.
On February 15, an MSF team in Adré, eastern Chad, received 18 civilians — including four women and three children — who were injured in SAF drone strikes on a fuel market just across the border in Adikong, West Darfur state.
On February 6, 29 injured people were treated at an MSF-supported hospital in Tine, also in eastern Chad, following two RSF drone attacks in western Sudan which killed at least 10 people, four of whom died in the hospital.
Since that date, patients have been arriving frequently due to strikes.
Drone strikes are not limited to military targets and are causing devastating harm: Civilians, including children, are being killed or severely injured in blatant disregard of international humanitarian law.
Esperanza Santos, MSF head of emergencies
“Among the patients we received, a 9-year-old boy arrived with a large shrapnel wound to his eye, extensive facial fractures, and two amputated fingers,” says Virginia Moneti, MSF project medical coordinator in Tine.
“He was in severe pain and exposed to dust after a long journey to reach the facility. Even with optimal care, he is likely to face long-term disability. He was transferred to Ndjamena for further treatment.”
Our teams in Zalingei, Central Darfur, also treated 29 patients this month following several attacks, including at least eight civilians.
Ongoing attacks endanger health care access
After drone strikes on November 3 in North Darfur, MSF was forced to withdraw from Kornoi and Tine, halting vital medical and humanitarian services. These attacks have made it impossible for MSF to maintain a safe presence, leaving people without essential care.
“The war in Sudan is being fought with drones beyond the front lines,” says Esperanza Santos, MSF head of emergencies. “Our teams are regularly treating large numbers of drone-wounded people, including women and children.
These strikes are used to disrupt supply lines, damage civilian infrastructure, and create siege-like conditions in contested areas.”
In North Kordofan, where MSF recently launched an emergency response in El Obeid, drone strikes reportedly hit a humanitarian convoy, a vehicle carrying displaced people, and a bus station between February 6-7.
Drone attacks reportedly also hit various health facilities in Kadugli and Dilling, South Kordofan state, in the first two weeks of February.
“Recent incidents reveal a disturbing pattern in the conduct of the war in Sudan,” adds Santos.
“Drone strikes are not limited to military targets, but sometimes with multiple follow-up strikes on the same location, and are causing devastating harm: Civilians, including children, are being killed or severely injured in blatant disregard of international humanitarian law.
Armed actors must take immediate measures to protect civilians and humanitarian workers. Civilians must be always spared.”
When civilian areas and humanitarian infrastructure are not respected, our teams cannot operate safely, leaving communities without essential care.
This is the exact opposite of what the people of Sudan urgently require, as humanitarian needs are immense and an immediate scale-up of assistance is critical.

Operation HADIN KAI: Troops Eliminate Terrorist Commander, Arrest Drone Supplier in Zamfara, Nigeria
Today at 5:30 PM
The Digest:
Troops of Operation HADIN KAI, in coordination with local vigilantes and hunters, have neutralised a former hybrid Boko Haram commander, Abdullahi Mafa, in the Madagali area of Zamfara State.
In a separate operation, troops arrested a suspected drone and logistics supplier for the terrorists, Dauda Usman Gubula, during a raid at Madagali Motor Park.
According to security expert Zagazola Makama, troops engaged suspected Boko Haram fighters in an ambush along the Visik River line, leading to Mafa's elimination.
Items recovered from Gubula included two aerial drones and 20 solar power banks. The suspect is currently in custody, under investigation as troops intensify operations to dismantle Boko Haram networks and restore security in the region.
Key Points:
The elimination of a key commander disrupts Boko Haram's operational command structure in the North-West.
Arresting a drone supplier degrades the terrorists' surveillance and attack capabilities.
Local communities gain relief, while the military demonstrates the effectiveness of coordinated operations.
This signals the military's expanding counter-insurgency footprint beyond the North-East.
The timing, with recovered drones, shows evolving terrorist tactics requiring adaptive responses.
Troops continue mop-up operations as investigations proceed on the arrested drone supplier, aiming to dismantle broader terrorist logistics networks.

B.C. drone pilot convicted of interference during 2023 wildfire in Kelowna
February 18, 2026 at 7:32PM EST
A man who piloted a drone over Okanagan Lake during the destructive 2023 wildfire in Kelowna, B.C., has been convicted of interfering with the government’s fire-suppression efforts.
Derek Leippi pleaded not guilty to the Wildfire Act offence, but was found liable last week in Kelowna provincial court.
The court heard Leippi was trying to capture video of the charred remnants of Lake Okanagan Resort when conservation officers confiscated his drone on Aug. 27 of that year.
He testified that he’d been unaware crews were actively battling a wildfire nearby—but Judge Cathie Heinrichs was not convinced, describing the blaze as a “notable event” for the entire Okanagan region.
“It was common knowledge that the fire was extensive, vast numbers of people were evacuated and displaced, and many people lost their homes and businesses,” Heinrichs said in her Feb. 9 decision.
“A reasonable person would have made inquiries about the status of the fire and whether there was ongoing firefighting activity.”
The court heard conservation officers first spotted Leippi on a boat near the shore, and asked him to leave as a helicopter was bucketing water.
Around that time, the helicopter pilot spotted Leippi’s drone, became irritated, and started trying to dump water onto the device so it would crash into the lake, according to the decision.
After two unsuccessful attempts, the pilot flew off to continue bucketing the wildfire.
Heinrichs concluded that the presence of the drone—and the emotional impact it had on the helicopter pilot—constituted an interference.
“He took a few minutes to attempt to eliminate the drone, due to a potential risk to the helicopter, which prevented him from focusing on the firefighting work,” she said.
“During the time he was attempting to eliminate the drone, he could have been halfway back to the fire he was helping to suppress.”
The judge also noted that while Leippi was “co-operative and respectful” with the conservation officers after they approached him and asked him to leave, he did not disclose that he was flying a drone or immediately stop doing so.
Instead, Leippi steered the device closer to the lake to avoid getting in the helicopter’s way. The conservation officers eventually noticed the drone “as a result of the helicopter’s unusual actions” as the pilot was drying to douse it with water, according to the decision.
“Even if he was unaware of the firefighting efforts when he first started his boat trip and filming, at the point when the officers first asked him to move his boat, he was on notice of the firefighting operations and should have immediately retrieved the drone, not simply lowered it and maintained it in flight,” Heinrichs said.
Leippi has not been sentenced. Under the Wildfire Act, drone operators convicted of interfering with suppression efforts can be fined up to $100,000 and sentenced to more than a year behind bars.

Will Donald Trump Support Barack Obama's UFO Claim? Secret 'Alien Speech' Reportedly Ready
19 February 2026, 1:44 PM GMT
It was one of those White House briefing-room moments that should have died on the day's news cycle: a straight-faced question about aliens, followed by a press secretary sounding half amused, half genuinely curious.
Yet here we are, with the idea of a 'secret speech' about extraterrestrials orbiting President Donald Trump like a tabloid moonshot.
When Karoline Leavitt was asked whether Trump had a prepared address on alien life, she didn't confirm anything she laughed it off in the way officials do when they're trying to keep a lid on a silly story without quite stamping on it. 'Well, a speech on aliens would be news to me.
That sounds very exciting though. I'll have to check in with our speechwriting team. And that would be of great interest to me personally, and I'm sure all of you in this room, and apparently former President Obama too. So we'll keep you posted on that,' she said.
The line landed because it didn't close the door. It propped it open with a grin.
Donald Trump And The Politics Of A Tease
The spark for the whole episode wasn't an intelligence leak or a declassified document. It was family chatter specifically, Lara Trump suggesting her father-in-law had something up his sleeve, tucked away for the right moment.
Speaking on the New York Post podcast Pod Force One, she described how she and Eric Trump had pressed him on UFOs and aliens, only for him to 'play a little coy.' Then came the quote that's doing the rounds: 'I have just heard kind of around that he's actually said, my father-in-law has actually said it, that there is some speech that he has, that I guess at the right time…I don't know what the right time is…that he is going to break out and talk about, and it has to do with maybe some sort of extraterrestrial life, so to speak,' Lara Trump said.
Read plainly, it's not confirmation of anything more like a rumour being repeated with a shrug.
Read politically, though, it's classic Trump-world theatre: a tantalising 'maybe,' a suggestion of withheld knowledge, and a promise of a reveal that can always be rescheduled. That isn't an accident; it's a style.
Leavitt's response 'news to me,' but also 'very exciting' only sharpened the silhouette of the story. If there is no speech, the White House can say it never existed.
If there is one, the administration gets to decide when the country is 'ready' and, more importantly, when the headlines are useful.
Donald Trump, Obama And America's Alien Rorschach Test
The other ingredient is Barack Obama, who in a very Obama way managed to sound both playful and devastatingly specific.
In a podcast interview with Brian Tyler Cohen, he was asked about extraterrestrial life and replied: 'They're real.' He immediately added: 'But I haven't seen them.
They're not being kept at Area 51. There's no underground facility unless there's this enormous conspiracy and they hid it from the President of the United States.'
The remark was brief enough to invite mischief, and TIME reported it helped kick off a fresh burst of online speculation.
Obama then returned a day later to put the brakes on the more overheated readings, writing on Instagram: 'I was trying to stick with the spirit of the speed round, but since it's gotten attention let me clarify,' before adding, 'Statistically, the universe is so vast that the odds are good there's life out there.
But the distances between solar systems are so great that the chances we've been visited by aliens is low, and I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!'
That clarification matters, because it strips away the fantasy that presidents are sitting on a cosmic secret.
Obama wasn't announcing contact he was acknowledging probability, then underlining the absence of proof. In other words: yes, the universe is enormous; no, the Oval Office doesn't come with a dossier labelled 'ALIENS, DEFINITIVELY.'
And that's what makes the Trump 'speech' rumour so revealing. The appetite here isn't really for astrophysics; it's for narrative.
Trump sells narrative the way other politicians sell policy big, punchy, and always with a cliffhanger. Whether the cliffhanger involves spacecraft or simply the next news cycle may be the more terrestrial question.

I worked for Britain’s UFO unit. Yes, aliens are real
19 February 2026 6:00am GMT
Barack Obama’s dropping of an alien bombshell – he said “they’re real” in a podcast interview – set the pulses of millions of “believers” racing at the weekend. But the former US president has since qualified his response.
In a statement on Instagram, he said his comment had been made in the heat of the moment. He had simply meant that, given the vastness of the universe, we’re unlikely to be alone.
He added: “I saw no evidence during my presidency that extraterrestrials have made contact with us. Really!” Case closed? Maybe not.
For much of the early 1990s I was posted to the Ministry of Defence’s so-called “UFO Desk”.
While most of our cases turned out to be misidentifications of known objects or phenomena, a small but statistically significant proportion appeared to defy conventional explanation.
Such cases often involved military pilots, whose sightings were sometimes corroborated by anomalous radar returns.
They suggested that some of these UFOs were capable of speeds, manoeuvres and accelerations that seemed to exceed the cutting edge of known aerospace technology.
Our flagship cases included the infamous Rendlesham Forest incident from December 1980, where US air force personnel reported sightings of a small, metallic craft that allegedly briefly landed.
Activity continued over three consecutive nights and witnesses included the previously sceptical deputy base commander, Lieutenant Colonel Charles Halt.
Years later, the US’s department of veterans affairs settled at least one case from a witness, whose testimony was bolstered by a declassified MoD intelligence assessment of UFOs that stated witnesses “were probably exposed to UAP radiation for longer than normal UAP sighting periods”.
UAP (Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena) is the official government term for UFOs.
In March 1993, a wave of UFO sightings took place across the UK, two military bases allegedly overflown. A vast, triangular-shaped craft was seen by military witnesses accelerating from a virtual hover to high Mach speeds in an instant.
I’ve interviewed countless pilots – military and commercial – who’ve had extraordinary and sometimes terrifying mid-air encounters with such craft.
Government files document several extremely close shaves. Some interested observers – myself included – felt unable to rule out an extraterrestrial explanation for such sightings.
This used to be a “minority report”. It isn’t now.
Fast forward to the present and it’s difficult to overstate the way that the topic of UFOs has transitioned from fringe to mainstream in the US in recent years.
After decades of apparent non-interest, the Pentagon set up an office to investigate the phenomenon. The MoD sent officials to a Five Eyes intelligence meeting on the subject in May 2023.
Some of this official interest stems from the Chinese spy balloon saga of 2023, or from recent drone incursions. But it seems to go further than this. Whistleblowers have testified to what they coyly term “non-human intelligence”.
It’s the engagement from the US Congress that’s been most telling and one cannot help but see Obama’s comments against this background. Congressional representatives have pursued this topic relentlessly.
They are not just a handful of mavericks, but big guns such as Marco Rubio – now Donald Trump’s secretary of state – and former Senate Majority leader Chuck Schumer. There have been classified briefings and public hearings.
The Pentagon has released forward-looking infrared videos of UFOs taken from military jets. Senior defence officials have confirmed there’s satellite imagery of these craft.
Having looked at this issue from inside the Government I think extraterrestrial visitation is a distinct possibility. I suspect Obama knows more than he’s saying, but felt he went too far on the record.
In a situation where presidents are used to fast balls from broadcasting A-listers, walking back comments made in a YouTube podcast seems bizarre and suspicious.
As the UFO community speculates on the imminent delivery of its holy grail of “Disclosure” – official confirmation of extraterrestrial visitation – I can’t help but wonder if Obama’s remarks are a prelude to something more.
Perhaps one day soon there’ll be an unscheduled live broadcast from the Oval Office: “My fellow Americans, people of the world. We are not alone.”

NEW 2026 Insane UFO Footage found on the DEEP WEB! 👽🔥
In this explosive 2026 UFO compilation, we break down some of the most shocking, bizarre, and unexplained UFO sightings captured across the globe — including brand-new footage from the United States, Brazil, Southern California, Spain, China, Chile, and New York.
We begin on February 16th, 2026, with a strange orb spotted in the United States — but the real mystery isn’t just the glowing sphere.
Witnesses captured smaller flashing objects moving around it, almost like companion drones or orbiting probes. The object changes direction mid-flight, appears to descend, and leaves viewers asking: what was that maneuver?
Then we head to Southern California (February 15th, 2026), where another bright orb displays what looks like an aura or dark energy field pulsing around it. Is it distortion from the atmosphere — or something far more advanced?
In Rio de Janeiro, Brazil (February 16th, 2026), witnesses zoom in on a strange aerial object that appears almost fiery or metallic. Was it on fire — or is that controlled propulsion?
You’ll also see:
A metallic cylindrical UFO over Brazil (October 28th, 2025) with deliberate, intelligent movement.
Two interacting orbs over Spain (February 2026) that vanish in a way that defies simple explanation.
A bizarre “trash can” shaped UFO filmed in China (December 1st, 2025).
A delta-formation craft over New York (February 17th, 2026) with a mysterious flickering center light — possibly a TR-3B?
A nighttime sighting in Chile (November 30th, 2025) that perfectly captures the frustration and fear many witnesses feel.
Are we witnessing advanced military black projects? Plasma phenomena? Drone swarms? Or genuine extraterrestrial technology?
This deep web UFO compilation dives into:
Orb UFO sightings
Delta formation crafts
Metallic cylinder UFOs
Interacting light anomalies
Possible TR3B sightings
2026 UFO wave activity
High-strangeness aerial phenomena
If you’re into UFO evidence, alien encounters, unexplained aerial phenomena (UAP), and breaking 2026 sightings, this video is for you.
Watch closely. Analyze the movements. Pay attention to the light behavior. And decide for yourself.
Drop your theories in the comments:
Was that alien technology?
A secret military craft?
Or something we can’t explain yet?

Trump 'threatens' to declassify the intel Obama shared in his 'Aliens' statement - Psicoactivo #863
Feb 19, 2026
On a wild Psicoactivo, we may have just gotten UFO Disclosure amid President Trump's latest comments about former President Barack Obama's 'Aliens are real' quote.
Did the sitting President just threaten to declassify the classified intel Obama shared? Yes, it appears he did. This may not be the Disclosure we wanted, but it's the sloppy Disclosure we probably deserve.
Fox News
@FoxNews
PETER DOOCY: “Barack Obama said that aliens are real. Have you seen any evidence of non-human visitors to Earth?”
TRUMP: “Well he gave classified information? He's not supposed to be doing that."
…
PETER DOOCY: “So aliens are real?”
TRUMP: “Well, I don't know if they're real or not. I can tell you he gave classified information. He's not supposed to be doing that. He made a big mistake, he took it out of classified information."
"I don't I don't have an opinion on it. I never talk about it, a lot of people do, a lot of people believe it."
