>extraterrestrials
literally means they don't live on earth/dirt…
terramar was a country of the oceans, right?
best case is off earth humans, like the moon base and perhaps children have been born there already.
highly unlikely that biological aliens would be here unless under 1 scenario:
an advanced civilization would have gone well beyond biology. if anything, it's most likely that they developed AI, robotics, etc. and then either fused with that tech or the tech used aspects of biology to better itself. regardless, nothing purely biological could make the trip. sure, exotic physics, but still, there is distance, force, and time to have to contend with. the one scenario in which it might work for pure biology is if there were embryos kept by the AI while the travel was made. then, a healthy distance out still, the embryos would be birthed, raised, and educated by the AIs, perhaps even altered to be adapted for earth like conditions or just newly invented altogether.
If at the end of this epstein thread, there is some crazy shit like this, this whole story might be a massive double edged sword of good and evil. in the cosmic scheme of things, taking a long term perspective, I don't think the ethics are justified at the individual or societal levels, but when the F did the creative destruction of the universe care much for short term ethics faced with the type of destruction from something like a supernova. if you saw the waste laid by a supernova affecting things you cared for, the angst would be unbearable, but the beauty and potential that God can make from that are worth considering. what's done is done, so not trying to justify anything. just trying to think bigger…
