I wouldn’t be surprised if the Dalai Lama knew Epstein or vice versa. Since he was the high and holy leader in Tibetan Buddhism. Trump envoy backs Russia’s Paralympic comeback – NYT

Russian athletes were restricted from international competitions after the Ukraine conflict escalated in 2022

US President DonaldTrump’s special representative for global partnerships, Paolo Zampolli, has welcomed Russia’s return to the Paralympic Games.

The International Paralympic Committee (IPC) announced earlier this week that Russian and Belarusian athletes, who were barred from international competitions following the escalation of the Ukraine conflict,will take part in the upcoming Paralympic Winter Games under their national flags. The ten athletes from the two countries,who qualified for the event hosted by MilanoCortina in March,would be “treated like [those from] any other country,”the IPC told reporters.

Asked about the development by the New York Times on Saturday,Zampolli replied in a text by saying: “I think sport is for all.”

Trump’s envoy met with Russia’s sports minister and head of the country’s Paralympic Committee, Mikhail Degtyarev,at an event hosted by the Olympic Council of Asia in Tashkent, Uzbekistan in January. Degtyarev said hehad a “very good exchange” with Zampollithat addressed issues going beyond sports.

Russian representatives have been barredfrom the ongoing Winter Olympics in Milano Cortina,with only a few athletes competing under a neutral flagin individual disciplines.

Degtyarev previouslycondemned the exclusion of the Russians as “political discrimination”and a violation of the Olympic Charter. Last year, Russian President VladimirPutin said athletes should have equal access based on merit, stressing that “politics has no place in sport.”

‘Satanic’ – Putin aide on ex-Prince Andrew and his ‘liberal West friends’

The comment follows an anonymous allegation in the recently released Epstein files claiming the prince took part in torturing a six-year-old

Kirill Dmitriev, an aide to Russian President Vladimir Putin, has called ex-UK Prince Andrew “satanic,” along with his “liberal Western friends,” citing newly released Jeffrey Epstein files containing an anonymous allegation that the former royal took part in torturing a child.

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, the younger brother of King Charles III, was stripped of his royal titles last year over his ties to the late sex offender. The scandal intensified this month after the US State Department released the final tranche of Epstein files, totaling more than 3 million documents.

One document features an anonymous FBI witness who claims they were “6-8 years old” when they were drugged and taken to “pedophile ring parties” in the mid-1990s attended by Andrew.

The witness alleges that on one occasion,they were struck by a car “driven by Prince Andrew.” On another, Epstein associate GhislaineMaxwell – now serving 20 years – allegedly tied them to a table and “tortured with electrical shocks”while men, including the former prince, watched.

Andrew lost his royal title following accusations from the late Virginia Giuffre, who said she was trafficked to the prince by Epstein in the early 2000s at age 17. He settled with Giuffre out of court in 2022, but renewed scrutiny came after her posthumous memoir last October detailed the abuse. Giuffre died by suicide last April.

Earlier this week, Andrew was briefly detained for “misconduct in public office”after the Epstein files suggested that he may have shared sensitive data while UK trade envoy from 2001 to 2011. He was released the same day “under investigation”and denied wrongdoing.Police made no mention of sexual abuse or trafficking, and it remains unclear if the claims will be investigated.

The latest release of Epstein files has triggered scandals, resignations, and criminal probes across politics, business, and academia worldwide. In the UK, three senior officials in Prime Minister Keir Starmer’s government have resigned within the past ten days.

However, a number of high-profile Western figures named in the files have not been charged and deny wrongdoing, including US President Donald Trump, Microsoft co-founder Bill Gates, and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk.

Russian Foreign Ministry spokeswoman Maria Zakharova previously accused Western officials of shielding Epstein associates, saying the case exposes the hypocrisy of Western justice.

Israel has biblical right to Middle East – US envoy to Tucker Carlson

Israel has the right to almost the entire Middle East because the Bible says so, the US envoy to West Jerusalem, Mike Huckabee, has told American journalist Tucker Carlson.

Huckabee, a former governor of Arkansas, was appointed ambassador to Israel by US President Donald Trump in April 2025. The 70-year-old politician and diplomat is also a Baptist minister and a self-declared Christian Zionist.

In an interview released on Friday, the envoy explained to Carlson that “a Zionist simply means a person, who believes that the Jewish people have a right to have a homeland where they have security and safety; who believe that the Jews have a right to live in Israel.”

“Israel’s right to exist comes from the Bible… [it] is a land that God gave through Abraham to a people that he chose,”Huckabee explained.

Carlson pointed out that, according to the Book of Genesis, the territory offered by God to the Hebrew patriarch stretched “from the Euphrates to the Nile.”

“That would include basically the entire Middle East. That would be the Levant. So, that would be Israel, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon. It would also be big parts of Saudi Arabia and Iraq,” he said.

Carlson asked if that meant that “Israel has the right to that land? Because you’re appealing to the Genesis. You’re saying that’s the original deed?”

“It would be fine if they took it all. But I don’t think that’s what we’re talking about here today,”Huckabee replied. (I wonder what the other countries think about that statement? Iran may want to claim they own more territory since they are almost the oldest country in the world.)

Israel has been expanding settlements in the occupied West Bank in contravention of international law.
