Actually I don't. I didn't say ALL women. But the witches (evil women) married for power and influence. That is how they moved up the coven hierarchy.
Who would be the most powerful women?
The Queen? Who never gave Prince Phillip the title of King. She didn't want someone more powerful than her, even if in name only.
The First Lady? Who has the ear of the president.
Mother Superior? A great way to infiltrate celibate all male Roman Cath. Church.
And men, these women discovered, were easy to blackmail.
