For the fearful Evangelicals:

How did Jesus turn the water to wine?

He married a woman of means who loved surprising others as much as he did.

Wine is a hell of a fine wedding gift for those too poor to expect more than water to serve to their guests.

How did Jesus feed the people at the sermon on the mount?

Again, he married a woman of means who anticipated the need and used her “means” to further her husband’s mission on earth.

Proverbs 31: 10-31

Jesus married well, make no mistake.

He married so well that after he was murdered he first appeared in the spirit, not to his disciples, but to his wife. And after the cowardly disciples came running back to their only source of sustenance, they sought his wife to ask what he’d told her since, according to the gnostic Gospel of Mary, he spoke to her more than he ever spoke to any and all of them.

Pillow talk.

Jesus did not die for you or me or “sinners” or whatever fear the New Testament teaches to keep you in line and on your knees and not looking up.

Jesus died for God. The same God that is within you, within all of us.

He had no earthly idea what the descendants of his murderers would do in his name and to his name centuries later.

Jesus did what God asked of him. In blind faith. Like all prophets before him.

All souls being equal.
