Here's All The Key Figures Who Have Resigned Over The Epstein Files…So Far

The documents—emails, financial records, and photographs—name figures from politics, finance, diplomacy, academia, and the arts. Although inclusion in the files is not evidence of wrongdoing, the renewed scrutiny has prompted several prominent leaders to step down, as was documented by Time yesterday.

As we've covered individually, those who have resigned include Thomas Pritzker, Kathy Ruemmler, Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem, Brad Karp, Mona Juul, Peter Mandelson, Miroslav Lajcak, Jack Lang, and David A. Ross. In many instances, the records describe years of contact with Epstein, sometimes extending beyond his 2008 guilty plea for soliciting prostitution from a minor, intensifying public and political pressure.

Thomas Pritzker resigned as executive chairman of Hyatt Hotels after emails showed he remained in contact with Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell beyond Epstein’s conviction.

Some messages referenced plans to meet, including for dinners. Pritzker said he exercised “terrible judgment” in maintaining the relationships and expressed deep regret, while authorities have not accused him of misconduct.

Kathy Ruemmler stepped down as chief legal officer of Goldman Sachs after emails suggested a friendly relationship with Epstein years after his plea deal, including correspondence referencing gifts.

Ruemmler, who previously served as White House counsel under President Barack Obama, has said she never represented Epstein and was unaware of his crimes. She later described him as a “monster” and said she regretted ever knowing him.

Sultan Ahmed bin Sulayem resigned as chairman and CEO of DP World after correspondence indicated a lengthy friendship with Epstein that continued for years.

Some emails released by the Justice Department included personal exchanges that drew scrutiny. Authorities have not accused him of wrongdoing, and the company did not cite Epstein in announcing his departure.

Brad Karp left his post as chairman of Paul, Weiss after emails revealed an extended relationship with Epstein, including exchanges in which he praised a draft legal motion related to Epstein’s 2008 plea agreement.

Karp said the controversy had become a distraction to the firm, where he had served for decades, and denied any misconduct. The firm has said it never represented Epstein.

Several diplomats and cultural figures also stepped down. Mona Juul resigned from her role as a Norwegian ambassador after reports highlighted her past contact with Epstein and scrutiny over a will that allegedly left money to her children.

Norway’s foreign ministry said the situation raised concerns about judgment, though Juul has denied wrongdoing.

So Sarah Ferguson has run off to a £13,000 a day clinic in Switzerland to escape the Epstein fallout.

There’s me thinking she was supposed to be broke. 🤪

"Over to you! Lots of love." 📩

That is how Sarah Ferguson reportedly handed over the contact details of her 22-year-old goddaughter, Poppy Cotterell, to Jeffrey Epstein in 2010.

This was a full year after his release from jail for child sex offences. While the public were rightly appalled by his crimes, Fergie was allegedly:

• Begging him for £20,000 to cover her rent

• Proposing marriage to him ("Just marry me")

• Sending him young women with a "cheerio" attitude

This is not a "royal blunder" or a lapse in judgment. It looks like facilitation. The police cannot look the other way any longer. It is time she was interviewed under oath to explain exactly how much she knew.

Absolute disgrace. 🇬🇧 #SarahFerguson #EpsteinFiles #RoyalScandal #PoppyCotterell

On Sunday, Mexico’s Secretariat of National Defense announced that its special forces killed Nemesio Oseguera Cervantes, also known as El Mencho, the head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG). Cervantes died from his wounds as a result of a military operation to capture in Tapalpa.

The cartel responded by blocking roads and attacking patrol vehicles. Jalisco Governor Pablo Lemus Navarro declared a state of emergency. The violence has quickly spread to the states of Michoacan, Tamaulipas, Zacatecas, Colima, and Oaxaca.

Good enough for Gina Rinehart should be good enough for Palantir

Palantir is under pressure around the world but in Australia it is mollycoddled

Palantir. Rejected by Switzerland, its large military and health contracts under pressure in the UK, politicians in the US returning their campaign donations, protestors forcing office changes. The controversial tech company is under fire under the world.

Not so in sleepy Australia however.

Palantir, whose executives brag about how their lethal software kills people, has been welcomed with little resistance; awarded government contracts with nary a public tender, as well as corporate deals with Coles and the likes.

Do our regulators care? Does ASIC care that Palantir is in breach of Australia’s Corporations Act as revealed (below) in these pages?

Founded by Zionist libertarian Peter Thiel – infamous for declaring that freedom and democracy are incompatible – Palantir’s corporate fortunes blossomed with the rise of Donald Trump, the surveillance activities of ICE and the ongoing genocide in Gaza where its tech has played a key role in targeting people for the IDF.

Meanwhile, Thiel and his 2IC Alex Karp have shown a complete disregard for the laws of Australia as they have lobbied their way into government mandates in this country with the help of former Labor minister Mike Kelly.

To spell it out … ASIC

This year, the Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) announced its enforcement priorities included financial reporting misconduct including the failure to lodge audited financial reports in accordance with the Corporations Act, 2001.

This priority might be two decades too late for a company like Oracle Corporation (with its deplorable compliance track record in this country) but it may be better late than never.

ASIC’s announcement does pose the question though, should the corporate regulator not prioritise enforcing financial reporting obligations against large companies including those owned by multinationals every year?

Why not every year?

Multinational owned companies are known for their penchant of ‘restructuring’ their financial affairs to avoid and evade Australian income taxes. Regularly, routinely.

More Teaching About Israel As Victim

Mandatory holocaust and antisemitism courses become required in public schools

The Texas state education board recently has considered draft legislation that would create the nation’s first-ever statewide K-12 required reading list for public schools. Inevitably, Jewish sourced material is prominent among the texts on the list, including Elie Wiesel’s holocaust memoir “Night” and Anne Frank’s Diary. It appears that the legislation will be approved and, if it is, each of the selected works would become mandatory reading for Texas’s 5.5 million schoolchildren as soon as the 2030-31 school year.

Texas already has a so-called Holocaust Remembrance Week education mandate which has contributed to the process, meaning that Jews are one of the few non-Hispanic ethnic groups whose stories are likely to be well represented on the state’s reading list. It also has a board labeled the Texas Holocaust, Genocide, and Antisemitism Advisory Commission, which was involved in the discussions. The Jewish titles were also selected with additional input from Houston’s holocaust museum experts, local rabbis and Jewish day school administrators in the state. One should note that everyone involved would likely be dedicated to promoting the state of Israel and of the Zionist movement.

The problem with the material selected for the schools is that it reflects the standard holocaust and antisemitism narrative that now prevails in America and the anglophone world as well as in much of Europe. This has largely come about through deliberate Jewish seeking to dominate both the news and entertainment industries to achieve that goal, witness declarations by Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu concerning an “8th War” to sway US opinion and by recent media purchases by the likes of arch Zionist billionaire Larry Ellison. It is a political contrivance intended to support Jewish nationalism and supremacy otherwise referred to as Zionism and much of it is easily demonstrable as false.

No one should deny that many Jews died as a result of the political convulsion that accompanied the Second World War but the scale and methodology of Jewish suffering as distinct from the many others who died in the war has been deliberately inflated both in terms of numbers and of details. A former Israeli government minister Shulamit Aloni, describing how the charge of “antisemitism” in particular has been exploited to her country’s benefit, claimed at one point that labeling any and all critics of Israel as “antisemites” in a discussion with foreigners was a deliberate way to intimidate and shift perceptions. She said “It is a trick. We always use.”

President Sheinbaum urges calm after cartel boss’s death triggers unrest across Mexico

President Claudia Sheinbaum urged Mexicans to remain calm and stay well-informed after a federal operation targeting Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) leader Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes triggered a violent response from cartel henchmen.

The federal Defense Ministry said that Oseguera died while being transported by air to Mexico City after he was wounded by federal forces during an operation on Sunday morning in the municipality of Tapalpa, Jalisco.

Fiery narco-blockades were erected on roads and highways in Jalisco and neighboring states in response to the federal operation. Many businesses were also set on fire, including a Costco store in Puerto Vallarta, as the CJNG retaliated against the death of Oseguera, who had eluded authorities for years. It wasn’t immediately clear whether any lives of innocent people had been lost due to the hostile cartel response.

On Sunday afternoon, Sheinbaum noted on social media that the Defense Ministry had reported on the operation carried out by federal forces on Sunday morning.

“There is complete coordination with governments of all states,” she wrote.

“We must remain informed and stay calm,” Sheinbaum added.

The president said that the social media accounts of the federal government’s security cabinet are providing regular updates.

Sheinbaum also wrote that “activities” are proceeding normally in most of the country.

“My recognition to the Mexican Army, the National Guard, the armed forces and the Security Cabinet,” she said.

“We work every day for peace, security, justice and the well-being of Mexico,” her post concluded.

The federal security cabinet said on social media on Sunday afternoon that it was working “in coordination with the governments of federal entities to respond to any incident.”

It said that the presence of authorities has been strengthened in different parts of the country in order to “clear roads and reestablish order.”

Illinois official got more than $300K from trucking industry while his agency gave illegal licenses

The Chicago Way: Illinois Secretary of State Alexi Giannoulias, a Democrat who is reportedly considering a run for Chicago mayor, is facing scrutiny over his role in improperly issuing CDL licenses after a series of high profile big rig crashes across the country.

The Illinois official whose agency issued potentially thousands of illegal licenses to truckers, received more than $300,000 in donations from the trucking industry in recent years. The Illinois Secretary of State, Alexi Giannoulias, is in a standoff with the Trump Transportation Department over its review of the state’s commercial drivers licenses (CDLs) which found that 1-in-5 licenses issued by Giannoulias’ office were done so illegally.

Giannoulias, a Democrat who is reportedly considering a run for Chicago mayor, is facing scrutiny over his office’s role in issuing those licenses from the Trump administration after a series of high profile big rig crashes across the country that exposed issues in how states issue non-domiciled CDLs to foreign citizens, or in some cases, to illegal immigrants.

In Illinois, the U.S. Transportation Department found the Secretary of State’s Office, through the Director of Driver Services, issued illegal CDLs, in some cases, to individuals who have failed to provide evidence of lawful presence, let alone proficiency in managing big rigs.

Big Rig danger

The Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) says that trucks often weigh 20–30 times as much as passenger cars and are taller with greater ground clearance, which can result in smaller vehicles underriding trucks in crashes.

Truck braking capability can be a factor in truck crashes. Loaded tractor-trailers require 20-40% more distance than cars to stop, and the discrepancy is greater on wet and slippery roads or with poorly maintained brakes. Truck driver fatigue is also a known crash risk. Drivers of large trucks are allowed by federal hours-of-service regulations to drive up to 11 hours at a stretch. Surveys indicate that many drivers violate the regulations and work longer than permitted.

In response to the audit, the Transportation Department threatened to yank federal highway funding from Illinois if it does not pause issuing non-domiciled CDLs, identify all issued licenses that do not comply with the law, and conduct an internal audit of how it awards such licenses.

Giannoulias has positioned himself as a defender of the state’s trucking and logistics industries, arguing the federal demands are damaging the state’s economy, its truckers, farmers, and others involved in the logistics sector.

“A strong economy depends on strong logistics,” he said in a statement shared with Just the News earlier this week. “If trucks don’t move, supply chains fail, prices rise, and families feel it in their pocketbooks. We can see the actions by the Trump administration taking their toll on our truckers and our farmers, both of whom are essential to Illinois’ economy.”

His office also insists that the Illinois Secretary of State has followed all federal guidelines on CDL licenses and suspended issuing them last fall in response to the new rules from the Trump administration, Just the News previously reported.
