>The play is clear now. He [Tucker Carlson] dropped untruths with a whole bunch of truths. Everything he said is now discredited.
Not quite. In fact, it is just the opposite. Both the headline from the Times of Israel that is cited and this Anon's statements and reliance theron - exclusively - for the smearing of Tucker Carlson are misinformation by omission.
The actual apology video by Tucker Carlaon cites the source that he relied on when asked the question of Huckabee about '''both Isaac Herzog and Ehud Barak" as being in an Epstein email noting thst they were coming to a party on St. James' party.Tucker quoted an email from Epstein to Huckabee.
His "apology" was a classic defamation CYA clarifying that he was not saying he knew personally whether the two Israeli officials were "coming" to the party, just that the DOJ released an email from Jeffrey Epstein saying that they were coming.
It is notable that only Hertzog "vehemently" denied knowing or ever meeting Epstein (per the apology - as received by Tucker from Hertzog's office and Huckabee). There was no dispute reportedly received from, nor apology about, Tucker having also read from Epstein's email during his discussion with Huckabee that Ehud Barak was planning on being at the party.
Here is a factual (no omissions) summary of the original statement, the source therefore, and the apology:

"🔥🗞The Informant
@theinformant_x
❗️🇺🇸🍕🇮🇱 - In a December 2014 email to Leon D. Black’s executive assistant Melanie Spinella, Jeffrey Epstein indicated that Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Ehud Barak were coming to Little Saint James that weekend:
“Grats, Charity, Herzog, Ehud coming to island this weekend. Come. Plane 3 issue, art gift. accounting house.”
"Tucker Carlson referenced the email during an interview with U.S. Ambassador to Israel Mike Huckabee, suggesting it implied Herzog had visited the island.
"In response, Herzog’s office sent him a detailed letter categorically denying that the president had ever had any contact with Epstein whatsoever.
"The office stated that the two men never knew each other, never emailed, never shared a room, and had no relationship of any kind.
"Carlson noted that while he has received many similar letters over the years, this unequivocal denial stands out. For that reason, he is taking it seriously. “There’s nothing worse than impugning the reputation of an innocent man,” he said.
"He clarified that he does not know whether Herzog was on the island. He was only referencing the email and the protest against him, and did not mean to suggest he knows it for certain."
