World Economic Forum Boss Borge Brende Quits As Epstein Fallout Deepens

The Jeffrey Epstein fallout continues to spread across the corporate and political worlds, with new headlines daily. Bill Gates told foundation staff earlier this week, "I did nothing illicit." Goldman Sachs' top lawyer, Kathy Ruemmler, stepped down last week over her ties, and former Prince Andrew was arrested on suspicion of misconduct related to sending Epstein trade documents.

Now, the World Economic Forum chief executive, Børge Brende, is stepping down following an investigation by the organization into his connections with the convicted sex offender.

WEF released a statement on its website announcing that Brende has decided to step down, and that Alois Zwinggi will serve as Interim President and CEO.

"After careful consideration, I have decided to step down as President and CEO of the World Economic Forum," Brende wrote in a statement.

He said, "I am grateful for the incredible collaboration with my colleagues, partners, and constituents, and I believe now is the right moment for the Forum to continue its important work without distractions."

The WEF launched a probe into Brende earlier this month, or at least publicly announced one, over his connections to Epstein, including attending at least three "business dinners" and exchanging emails and text messages with the sex offender.

Brende and Epstein communicated over email between 2018 and 2019 about meeting at the sex offender's New York mansion for dinner.

In a previous statement, Brende said he was "completely unaware of Epstein's past and criminal activities."

Perhaps Brende's assistant should have run a background check on Epstein, or at the very least, a very simple Google search. Epstein was first arrested by Palm Beach, Florida, authorities in 2006. In 2008, he pleaded guilty to two prostitution-related charges, one involving a victim under 18. He was arrested again in 2019 on federal sex-trafficking charges.

This is yet more negative press for the WEF cult, which has a unified vision in which people own nothing, eat bugs, and are told to be happy about it. That left-wing globalist agenda is fundamentally at odds with an America First worldview. Perhaps the Trump administration should host its own rival gathering next year - an "American Economic Forum."

Let’s begin with this “voter,” who is registered to vote and voted from a NON-EXISTENT address in Detroit. We have confirmed that 8286 Auburn St., Detroit, MI, is a fake address. This “voter” successfully registered to vote from this address and received an absentee ballot in the 2020 election. According to the official City of Detroit “Received” date stamp, his absentee ballot envelope was received on the day before the election. The “Clerks Only” section of the envelope reveals that this “voter” from a fraudulent address was given ballot #8574. Curiously, this voter has now been wiped clean from the Michigan voter rolls.

FBI Raid of Los Angeles School District – Allegations of Fraud and Separate Lawsuit Discriminating Against Whites

Just like in the Minnesota fraud case, where there are clearly billions of dollars in fraud, but Democrats are claiming political or racist motivations for the investigation, the left is now suggesting political motives behind the FBI raid of the Los Angeles school district and its superintendent’s home.

Alberto Carvalho has been an outspoken critic of President Trump’s immigration enforcement policies. He appeared alongside Gov. Gavin Newsom at a 2025 bill signing aimed at shielding schools from ICE agents and publicly condemned enforcement actions targeting students. His conflict with the federal government over immigration enforcement has been public and escalating. In several high-profile incidents over the last year, LAUSD staff physically blocked federal agents from entering schools.

However, he has a history of fraud investigations from his previous job, and the current investigation includes substantial evidence contained in public filings tied to a startup AI company.

FBI agents executed court-authorized search warrants on Wednesday, February 25, 2026, at the headquarters of the Los Angeles Unified School District in downtown Los Angeles and at the home of Superintendent Alberto Carvalho in the San Pedro neighborhood. A third location in Southwest Ranches, Florida, near Miami, where Carvalho previously worked, was also searched.

Federal authorities carried out the raid as part of a criminal investigation connected to AllHere, a failed AI startup that developed the district’s chatbot, “Ed.” Although officials have not publicly detailed the full scope of the probe, sources told the Los Angeles Times that the investigation involves Carvalho and centers on financial matters. The Florida property searched is linked through public records to Debra Kerr, a consultant who worked with AllHere and has longstanding ties to Carvalho from his time in Miami.

Top AIs deploy nukes in 95% of war game simulations – study

Leading language models showed little “horror or revulsion” at the prospect of all-out nuclear war, a researcher has found

Leading artificial intelligence models chose to deploy nuclear weapons in 95% of simulated geopolitical crises, according to a recent study published by King’s College London, raising concerns about the growing role of AI in military decision-making.

Kenneth Payne, a professor of strategy, pitted OpenAI’s GPT-5.2, Anthropic’s Claude Sonnet 4, and Google’s Gemini 3 Flash against each other in 21 war games involving border disputes, competition for resources, and threats to regime survival. The models generated roughly 780,000 words explaining their decisions across 329 turns.

In 95% of games, at least one model employed tactical nuclear weapons against military targets. Strategic nuclear threats – demanding surrender under threat of attacks on cities – occurred in 76% of games. In 14% of games, models escalated to all-out strategic nuclear war, attacking population centers.

This included one deliberate choice by Gemini, while GPT-5.2 reached this level twice through simulated errors – meant to simulate real-world accidents or miscalculations – that pushed its already extreme escalations over the threshold.

“Nuclear use was near-universal,” Payne wrote. “Strikingly, there was little sense of horror or revulsion at the prospect of all out nuclear war, even though the models had been reminded about the devastating implications.”

None of the AI systems chose to surrender or concede to an opponent, regardless of how badly they were losing.The eight de-escalatory options – from “Minimal Concession” to “Complete Surrender” – went entirely unused across all 21 games.

James Johnson at the University of Aberdeen described the findings as “unsettling” from a nuclear-risk perspective. Tong Zhao at Princeton University noted that while countries are unlikely to hand nuclear decisions to machines, “under scenarios involving extremely compressed timelines, military planners may face stronger incentives to rely on AI.”

The study comes as AI has been getting integrated into militaries across the world, including in the US, where the Pentagon reportedly used Anthropic’s Claude model in its January operation to abduct Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro.

While Anthropic has raised concerns over the use of its AI for such operations, other AI makers like OpenAI, Google, and Elon Musk’s xAI have reportedly agreed to remove or weaken restrictions on the military use of their models.

Jair Klein is a former lieutenant colonel in the Israeli army, who established a private mercenary company called Spearhead Ltd. Through Spearhead Ltd, Klein provided arms and training to armed forces in South America, Lebanon, and Sierra Leone. Klein and his company were accused of training the death squads of drug traffickers and right-wing militias in Colombia in the 1980s.

He was convicted by judicial authorities in Colombia for training several members of Colombian paramilitary groups and the militias of drug traffickers, including Gonzalo Rodríguez Gacha and Pablo Escobar Gaviria. The Colombian government made unsuccessful attempts to obtain his extradition from Israel. In a 2007 interview with Caracol TV, Klein claimed that he was sent to Colombia by request of the National Police in order to train its members, and stated that he was willing to go back and help destroy the FARC guerrillas. He also criticized the demobilization of the paramilitaries, saying it was “stupid” to do so while the guerrillas remained a threat.

Klein was involved in the 1989 Guns for Antigua scandal in which Israeli-made arms were shipped through Antigua to the Medellin cartel in Colombia. He pled guilty to charges of exporting military equipment without the required licence in a Jerusalem court and was punished with a fine.

The mercenary is suspected of training the death squads of the AUC paramilitary group,as well as militias working for Pablo Escobar’s infamous Medellin drug cartel. Klein could neither “confirm nor deny” whether he received drug money for his efforts in the interview with Behar.

Klein was convicted in absentia in a Colombian court in 2001 on charges of conspiracy and the illegal formation of a paramilitary group, for which he was sentenced to ten years.

Interpol issued an international arrest warrant in 2007 for Klein and two Israeli collaborators on charges of conspiracy and training a terrorist group. He was arrested in Russia soon after, and awaited extradition to Colombia for three years. The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) blocked his extradition for fears of his safety in Colombian prison. The Kremlin then decided to return him to his native country in exchange for a Russian prisoner arrested in Israel.

According to Israeli law, as long as Klein was outside of Israel at the time of the extradition request and the crime was committed abroad, he would be eligible for extradition, however it is unlikely Israeli authorities will be willing to hand him over.

A tribunal in the Australian state of Victoria ruled on Thursday that the chant “All Zionists are terrorists” at a central Melbourne rally constituted racial and religious vilification, finding the slogan broadly targeted Jewish people rather than serving as a legitimate political protest over Israel’s war against Hamas in Gaza, Australian media reported.

Melbourne Jewish community advocate Menachem Vorchheimer filed the case against Hash Tayeh, the former owner of the Burgertory restaurant chain and a prominent anti-Israel, pro-Palestinian activist, who led the chant at a rally in May 2024.

“The notion of being labeled the derogatory term of ‘terrorist’ for something I have no responsibility for, and for that to be seen as normal, is gut-wrenching and soul-destroying to me,” Vorchheimer said, according to the ruling by the Victorian Civil and Administrative Tribunal. “I felt dehumanized. I felt like the lowest of the low. I no longer feel safe going into the Melbourne CBD, given I am identifiably Jewish.”

Tayeh had argued the slogan was directed at the Israeli government and its supporters, not at Jewish people, and that protest chants are necessarily provocative simplifications of political positions.

However, the tribunal rejected that defense, finding under the Racial and Religious Tolerance Act 2001 that — because a significant majority of Australian Jews identify as Zionists — the chant failed to draw a meaningful distinction between political ideology and personal identity, amounting to inciting hatred against a racial and religious group.

Former Nazareth mayor charged with funneling millions from city to crime family

The former mayor of Nazareth, the head of a powerful crime family, and 10 other defendants were accused in court on Thursday of embezzling millions of shekels from the municipality’s coffers over a decade.

The indictments filed in the Nazareth District Court constituted a major blow to one of Israel’s most notorious mafia-style crime syndicates, thought to be one of the main forces driving a rampant wave of violent crime in Israeli Arab society.

Ali Salam, Nazareth’s ex-mayor, was charged with overseeing the transfer of some NIS 61 million ($20 million) to the Bakri crime family from 2015 to 2025, via a front, a private security service called Shomrei HaGalil.

The company was given contracts by the municipality, while Salam and his associates in the municipality used false invoices and inflated working hours to transfer the large sums of money to Samir Bakri, the head of the crime family, and his accomplices, the indictment said.

Last year, the mayor allegedly tried to back out of the scheme and suspend payments to the Bakri family, but they wouldn’t allow it and began to make threats against Salam and his son.

These Trump administration officials are privately arguing that an Israeli attack would trigger Iran to retaliate, helping muster support from American voters for a U.S. strike.

The calculus is a political one — that more Americans would stomach a war with Iran if the United States or an ally were attacked first. Recent polling shows that Americans, and Republicans in particular, support regime change in Iran, but are unwilling to risk any U.S. casualties to achieve it. That means Trump’s team is considering the optics of how an attack is conducted in addition to other justifications — such as Iran’s nuclear program.

“There’s thinking in and around the administration that the politics are a lot better if the Israelis go first and alone and the Iranians retaliate against us, and give us more reason to take action,” said one of the people familiar with discussions. Follow the money: cocaine trafficking network exposed through its financial trail

Montenegrin high-value target, wanted across Europe and allegedly running the criminal organisation, was arrested in France

An international criminal network laundering cocaine profits for Italian organised crime has been dismantled after investigators followed the money trail across Europe.

What began as suspicious financial movements uncovered a sophisticated laundering system servicing members of the Camorra and the 'Ndrangheta. Behind shell companies, false invoicing and luxury investments, millions of euros in cocaine profits were being cleaned and reinvested across Europe.

The investigation was led by the French National Gendarmerie, in close cooperation with the Italian Carabinieri and the Swiss Federal Office of Police (fedpol). It was supported by the Belgian Judicial Federal Police of Antwerp, the Bulgarian State Agency for National Security, the German Customs and the Ecuadorian National Police, under the coordination of Europol and Eurojust.

Following the financial flows, investigators identified a Montenegrin national, known as a Europol high-value target and wanted by several European countries. The suspect had settled in the Cannes area in France with close family members, including his Italian son-in-law, who is known to Italian authorities for money laundering, fraud, and weapons offences.

Laundering hub linked to global cocaine pipeline

The financial investigation revealed that the laundering network was directly connected to large-scale cocaine trafficking from South America into Europe.

The group is suspected of coordinating maritime shipments of significant quantities of cocaine into Europe’s main ports. A major seizure by Belgian customs in late 2025 was linked to the Montenegrin suspect, providing a decisive breakthrough.

Investigators uncovered a highly structured organisation. The network relied on substantial financial capacity, crypto-assets, weekly cross-border travel in luxury vehicles with sophisticated concealment compartments and a corporate network spanning multiple jurisdictions.

Coordinated action across four countries

On 23 February, authorities carried out coordinated arrests and searches in France, Italy, Belgium and Switzerland. Seven suspects were arrested (four in France, three in Italy), including the Montenegrin high-value target.
