ok, but 'locals' here don't do that afaik.
we mostly drink "rain water" off a roof, into a tank. has about 2" (50mm) of "organics" on the bottom of the tank, koala poo, possum poo, rat poo, bird sh!t all washed into tank. Which is not actually an issue, as long as not disturbed / stirred up. Just anerobic bacterial action. bit the same as bottom of a creek / river/dam or where ever get water from, except bore, thats been through 1000's yrs seeping through rocks etc.
Suggest boil whatever "safe" water have, to get rid jetfuel (good for keeping mossies outa tank), then put through a sand or CARBON filter to get frogs & fish etc out. other than that … die

at least it's not "safe & effective" , that would be atell. anon uses CL to clean toilets, floors, sinks etc. just don't want to drink it. like drinking swim pool water, that much in it it stinks as comes outa kitchen tap around here. but as said our town water pipes are old earthernwear, lotsa leaks & goobies so CL serves a purpose. (pipes would clog, then nothing to flush with )
