The US president has expelled the conservative commentator over his criticism of the Iran war

US President Donald Trump has expelled prominent conservative talk show host Tucker Carlson from his Make America Great Again (MAGA) movement, saying Carlson has “lost his way.”

The breaking point between the two came over the US-Israeli attack on Iran, which Carlson has characterized as “absolutely disgusting and evil.”

“Tucker has lost his way. I knew that a long time ago, and he’s not MAGA,” Trump said in an interview with ABC News on Thursday.

“MAGA is saving our country. MAGA is making our country great again. MAGA is America first, and Tucker is none of those things,” the US president added.

During his 2024 election campaign, Trump vowed to avoid foreign interventions, promising to be a “peace president,” and assuring supporters he was “not going to start a war, I’m going to stop wars.” This became a core MAGA campaign theme.

Carlson, the former Fox News host, was given a prime speaking slot at the Republican National Convention in 2024 and interviewed Trump during his campaign. Now he runs the Tucker Carlson Network, an online streaming platform which he has increasingly used to advocate for a non-interventionist foreign policy.

His content has also been used by RT, and he has conducted high-profile interviews with Russian President Vladimir Putin and Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov in Moscow.

Last June, Trump called Carlson “kooky” on Truth Social after the journalist criticized those urging military action against the Islamic Republic.

Trump has recently lost another prominent ally – former Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene. Their relationship soured late last year over the release of documents related to the deceased sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. Greene accused Trump of preventing the files’ disclosure and pushed for full transparency.

Trump in turn called her “wacky” and a “ranting lunatic,” leading to Greene’s resignation from Congress in January.

Washington and West Jerusalem have framed their attacks on Iran as preemptive measures aimed at destroying its uranium enrichment and ballistic missile programs. The Islamic Republic insists that its nuclear program is peaceful and has denounced the strikes as entirely unprovoked.

Speaking to RIA Novosti on Wednesday, Zakharova stated that “although we are hearing claims from the US and Israel that they are even supposedly defending themselves… no one attacked them, no one threatened them.” The Russian diplomat noted that Iran had always been willing to engage in negotiations with the West.

While the U.S. Declared War on Drug Cartels, They Forgot to Stop Arming Them

A multi decades long history of arms shipments, money laundering, and judicial corruption paint a clear picture: the US government is the biggest enabler of drug cartels.

On February 22, 2026, the Mexican military mounted an operation, assisted by the CIA, that killed Nemesio “El Mencho” Oseguera Cervantes, the 59-year-old head of the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG) who had a $15 million bounty on his head.

A few hours later, Donald Trump tweeted “We’re Winning too much, it’s just not fair!”

The New York Times further quoted from a Mexican security analyst who claimed that the killing of “El Mencho” was “undoubtedly the most important blow that has been dealt to drug trafficking in Mexico since drug trafficking existed in Mexico.”[1]

This latter assessment is put in doubt by the fact that, going back to the days of Pablo Escobar, the strategy of killing drug kingpins has done nothing to curtail the drug demand patterns and underlying structural inequalities fueling the growth of the worldwide drug trade.[2

Additionally, we know that many of the weapons used by drug cartels that foment violence in Mexico come from the U.S. military.

Two weeks before the killing of “El Mencho,” a consortium of journalists released a report detailing that about half the high-powered .50-caliber cartridges Mexican authorities have seized from cartels since 2012 were traced to an ammunition factory outside Kansas City, Missouri, owned by the U.S. government, the Lake City Army Ammunition Plant, the largest manufacturer of rifle rounds used by the American military.

The ammunition made its way to the cartels via private smuggling networks that flourished as a result of systemic law enforcement corruption on both sides of the U.S.-Mexico border.[3]

Investigators documented at least 87 attacks using this ammunition since 2003—121 dead, including police massacres, helicopter shoot-downs, and government assassinations.

Mexican drug cartel operatives, including from the CJNG, have also infiltrated the U.S./British/Canadian-subsidized Ukraine International Legion in order to obtain know-how in the use of drone weapons that they have used to attack law enforcement officials.[4]

I’m starting to think this war was never Trump’s idea nor decision

Think about it:

This entire war is for energy. It started under Biden, forcing Europe off Russian natural gas and replacing it with American gas, all thanks to the war in Ukraine and the blowing up of Nordstream

It worked.

Then the strategy continued under Trump: Venezuela, Panama Canal, Greenland, and now Iran (strait of Hormuz)

Remember, just yesterday Qatar halted their natural gas exports (20% of global LNG exports), which Europe depends on. Guess who will replace them?

That’s right, the U.S.

So the long term objective for the U.S. is to maintain hegemony by controling global energy market, with the ability to choke off China if ever needed.

This makes more sense now than ever as the AI arms race heats up

This is the only logical explanation for the Iran war, otherwise it makes ZERO sense for American strategic interests

Trump: US 'quietly' moving thousands of people out of Middle Eastern countries

Trump affirmed earlier on Friday that there would be no deal with Iran and that the US would only accept the Islamic regime’s “unconditional surrender.”

President Donald Trump on Friday said the US is moving thousands of people out of various countries throughout the Middle East amid the military conflict between the US, Israel, and Iran.

"It is being done quietly, but seamlessly," Trump said in a post to his Truth Social account without providing further details.

Trump, in a post earlier in the day on the social media platform, affirmed that there would be no deal with Iran and that the US would only accept the Islamic regime’s “unconditional surrender.”

On Thursday night, the US president urged Iranian diplomats to seek asylum during an address at the East Room of the White House. Trump said that Operation Epic Fury, along with the US military's "wonderful Israeli partners," is destroying Iran's drone and missile capabilities.

"As soon as they set off a missile, within four minutes, the launcher gets hit - they don't know what's happening," he said.

Meanwhile, hundreds of Kurdish fighters have reportedly begun ground activity inside Iran from areas near the Iraqi border, in a development that could open an additional front against Tehran as regional tensions continue to escalate.

Separately, Russia is said to be providing Iran with targeting information that includes locations of US warships and aircraft in the Middle East, The Washington Post reported on Friday, citing three officials familiar with the intelligence.

The extent of Russia's support to Iran was not entirely clear, but the Iranian military's own ability to locate US forces has been degraded since the US and Israel launched strikes against Tehran last week, the Post reported.

The war has since escalated, triggering retaliatory strikes by Iran and ensnaring its neighbors as it seeks to impose a high cost on the US, Israel, and their allies.

The US military has identified six reserve soldiers killed in Kuwait when a drone slammed into a US military facility in Port ​Shuaiba. Trump and other senior officials have warned that the conflict will likely result in more US military deaths.
