Reports indicate that there are currently full-on clashes between the Popular Mobilization Forces and a seemingly U.S. Apache helicopter moving into the city.

The Apache, an unknown number of them, reportedly took off from Erbil airport, then approached the city, thereafter opening fire on positions of the Popular Mobilization Forces.

Reports indicate U.S. airstrikes were also carried out, targeting the al-Taji camp.
