I just completed a Canadian government vaccine survey that should concern everyone. It didn’t just ask if you’re vaccinated.

Why you hesitated
If it was easy to comply
If you’d take it in the future
This isn’t about health.
This is about mapping behaviour before the next rollout.

Notorious complainant Yaniv files Human Rights Tribunal grievance against Billboard Chris (Videos)
https://www.westernstandard.news/bc/notorious-complainant-yaniv-files-human-rights-tribunal-grievance-against-billboard-chris/72070
Prominent Canadian activist Billboard Chris Elston says Jessica Yaniv has taken a complaint against him to the BC Human Rights Tribunal for improper pronoun usage and "denying the existence of transgender identities."
A prominent Canadian activist against child gender transitions and radical gender ideology says he faces a new complaint before the BC Human Rights Tribunal from Jessica Yaniv.
Elston's X post details that Yaniv's complaint concerns his use of male pronouns when referring to the complainant along with "denying the existence of transgender identities."
Yaniv is a trans-identifying male and prolific litigant who has brought several controversial complaints before the tribunal.
In 2018 and 2019 he filed complaints against more than a dozen female estheticians — primarily Brazilian-style waxing salons, most of them run by immigrant women of Indian descent operating small home-based businesses — after they declined to wax his genitals.
The tribunal found that scrotum waxing was not a service customarily provided by the respondents, who offered waxing services primarily for female clients and had no training or experience with male genitalia.
The tribunal, on top of this, also voiced concern that Yaniv may have acted with an improper motive.
“Ms. Yaniv’s overriding purpose was to manufacture the conditions for human rights complaints against unsophisticated and vulnerable respondents, in order to secure a financial settlement and punish individuals involved,” the tribunal found.
“In a majority of her cases,” the decision continued, “she also had the added motivation of punishing racialized and immigrant women whom she stereotypes as hostile to the interests of the LGBTQ+ community.”
The tribunal’s concerns over Yaniv’s potential racial animus were later buttressed by a video showing him yelling the “N word” at Drea Humphrey, a black reporter for Rebel News.
In another 2020 interaction with a Rebel News reporter, Yaniv can be seen attacking Keean Bexte with what appears to be a walking cane.
Elston said Yaniv Simpson has a history of targeting him too, including a conviction for uttering threats after he threatened to shoot and kill Elston.
Along with the tribunal cases, Yaniv has racked up many criminal convictions over the years.
In 2019, he was convicted of possession of a prohibited weapon after brandishing and activating a taser during a livestreamed debate with YouTuber Blaire White, receiving a conditional discharge, probation, and a firearms prohibition.
A more recent conviction included an assault on an elderly man in the front lobby of his mother’s care home, as detailed and documented by Elston in another X post.
Elston further alleged that the Municipality of Langley once sent Yaniv Simpson a legal letter stating first responders would no longer assist him with routine calls for help getting out of the bathtub following his vaginoplasty.
Elston said he welcomes the new complaint as an apparent opportunity to tackle not only Yaniv’s complaint, but the BC Human Rights Tribunal itself.
“I do not believe in gender identities. I never will,” he wrote. “And I welcome this fight with open arms … I’d love to kill two birds with one stone and help take down your kangaroo court while I’m at it.”
Late on Thursday evening, former PPC candidate Marc Emery wrote on X that he had also been targeted by a tribunal complaint from Yaniv, marking the second individual to make such a claim in as many days.
It remains difficult to predict how long the tribunal actions may take, given Yaniv's history as a frequent and litigious complainant who has filed numerous cases only to withdraw them unexpectedly.
3 Canadians Back Home After Being Stuck Aboard Ship in Persian Gulf

A Quebec-based shipping company says three Canadians have returned home after being stuck aboard their vessels in the Persian Gulf.
In a news release issued this morning, Desgagnés says the three mariners were trainees from Quebec’s maritime institute and were aboard the company’s two vessels as part of their collegiate program.
The company said the government of Saudi Arabia helped facilitate the repatriation of the trainees, who flew to Europe and then to Canada.
Desgagnés has had two vessels stuck in the Persian Gulf since Feb. 28 because Iran has blocked most international ships from passing through the Strait of Hormuz.
The company said earlier this week its ships are flying the flag of Barbados instead of Canada because its crew are all foreign nationals.
In a statement issued to The Canadian Press, a spokesperson for Transport Canada said the department was not aware of any other Canadian-owned ships stuck in the Persian Gulf.
Rain in BC Triggers Evacuation Watches, Local State of Emergency in Fraser Valley

The risk of flooding, landslides and debris flows caused by an atmospheric river rolling over British Columbia’s coast has prompted a local state of emergency in the Fraser Valley in the Chilliwack area.
The Fraser Valley Regional District says in a statement that the declaration affects the southeastern corner of the district along the border with the United States.
The district says the prolonged rainfall has raised the potential harms to people, property, infrastructure and the environment.
It says the state of emergency will remain in effect until the threat to public safety is resolved.
B.C.’s Fraser Valley has a history of flooding following heavy rains, and the BC River Forecast Centre says the area is now under a flood watch.
The declaration comes amid a series of atmospheric rivers that have rolled in from the Pacific onto B.C.’s coast since Sunday. Continue…
Efforts to ‘Densify’ Canada’s Neighbourhoods Failing Amid Community Opposition

Densification of suburban neighbourhoods has been sold as a silver bullet to solve Canada’s housing crisis, but is instead running aground as pushback builds from affected residents.
Calgary is a case in point. In May 2024, following a marathon two-week public hearing, the city council voted 9-6 to pass a “blanket rezoning” policy allowing for duplexes, townhomes, and fourplexes in single-family neighbourhoods.
Roughly 300,000 properties were rezoned in one fell swoop.
Dissenting councillor Terry Wong explained that he voted against the policy based on feedback from over 700 speakers at the public hearing and 5,000 emails and letters, 70 percent of which Wong said were opposed to the rezoning.
Statistics Canada data shows Calgary’s population rose from 1,540,242 in 2021 to 1,836,012 in 2025—a spike of nearly 300,000 in four years. Continue…
Police Issue Alert Following Release of Violent Offender With 49 Convictions in Vancouver

A longtime criminal with a history of violence against women has been released by a Vancouver court back into the community, the city’s police department is warning.
Jordan McIntosh has 49 criminal convictions, including 11 for violence or weapons, the Vancouver Police Department said in a March 19 advisory.
McIntosh, 42, was arrested on March 2, nearly four months after police say he cut off an ankle monitor, which he was ordered to wear while serving a conditional sentence for a 2024 case involving two counts of assault and one count of breaching a release order.
A conditional sentence allows offenders in British Columbia to serve a sentence in the community under strict conditions such as house arrest or curfews. A judge can send the offender to jail if conditions are breached.
The Intimate Partner Violence and Risk Assessment Unit of the city police took part in the search after McIntosh’s Dec. 4, 2025, disappearance due to his prior history of violence against women, police said.
Police eventually traced him to a Water Street lodging house on March 2, the advisory said. Continue…

A border officer is facing trafficking and conspiracy charges after being accused of allowing a transport truck loaded with millions of dollars worth of drugs to pass through the Ontario-New York border in the Niagara area.
The RCMP has confirmed a Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA) officer stationed at the Queenston-Lewiston port of entry in Niagara-on-the-Lake, was arrested in January for failing to adhere to CBSA regulations. A March 20 press release alleges the officer allowed a truck laden with contraband to cross into Canada. The driver of the transport truck has also been arrested, the press release said.
The RCMP charged border officer Daniel Notarianni and truck driver Abhishek Abhishek on March 6.
Both men were charged with conspiracy to import a Schedule 1 substance, trafficking a controlled substance, importation of a Schedule 1 substance, possession for the purpose of trafficking, distribution of a Schedule 1 substance, and transportation and possession of tobacco for the purpose of sale.
