"How Can Women Trust The System If Gang-Rapists Can't Be Deported?" - Meloni Rages Against Italian Judiciary
https://www.zerohedge.com/political/how-can-women-trust-system-if-gang-rapists-cant-be-deported-meloni-rages-against-italian
Italian Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni has sharply criticized judicial decisions blocking the detention of migrants transferred to Albania, citing the case of a Moroccan rapist with a long criminal record whom authorities say they cannot detain or deport after he applied for international protection.
Speaking to RTL 102.5, Meloni said some court rulings preventing the continued detention of migrants transferred to Italian processing centers in Albania were “surreal” and undermined public safety.
“I also wonder where the feminists are in the face of these events,” Meloni said during the interview, referring to the case of one of the migrants, Moroccan national Fathallah Ouardi, who had been transferred to Albania but was later returned to Italy after judges refused to validate his detention.
Meloni said the man had a lengthy criminal record. “The record of one of these migrants includes convictions for drug dealing, resisting a public official, conspiracy to commit sexual assault, and gang rape,” she said, as cited by Secolo d’Italia.
According to the prime minister, the court rejected the detention order after the migrant applied for international protection.
“This is someone who entered Italy illegally, started dealing drugs, and gang-raped a woman — we can’t detain him, we can’t send him to Albania, we can’t repatriate him, and we’re almost forced to grant him international protection,” she said, adding that such decisions raise serious questions about the protection of victims and public confidence in the justice system.
“How can we guarantee the safety of citizens like this?” she asked. “These decisions are surreal; they affect not the government’s work but citizens’ rights, first and foremost, the right to safety.”
“What trust can a woman who has been gang-raped have in the system if her rapist can’t even be deported?” she added. “I also wonder where the feminists of ‘Non una di meno’ are on these issues.” Continue…
Suspected Missile Fuel Precursor Materials Sail From China To Iran, Even As US Bombs Fall
https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/suspected-missile-fuel-precursor-materials-sail-china-iran-even-us-bombs-fall
A pair of cargo ships tied to a sanctioned Iranian state shipping line have quietly departed a Chinese chemical hub and are now sailing toward Iran carrying what analysts suspect is missile fuel precursor, according to fresh Washington Post analysis of ship-tracking data and satellite imagery.
The vessels have been identified as Shabdis and Barzin, which operate under Islamic Republic of Iran Shipping Lines (IRISL), the state carrier sanctioned by Washington and many allies. The IRISL has long been accused of shipping materials tied to Iran's ballistic missile program - something which the US and Israel say they are trying to currently eliminate in the ongoing Operation Epic Fury. The focus of this note is not the energy market or global spillover risks. Rather, it is the fact that DARPA found time to publish a press release about an experimental aircraft with a historic lineage of X-planes.
DARPA said the new aircraft, called the X-76 and being built by Bell Textron, is designed to solve one of military aviation’s biggest trade-offs: combining airplane-like speed with helicopter-like runway independence. Continue…
OpenAI sued over Canada school shooting failure
https://www.rt.com/news/634353-openai-sued-canada-shooting/
ChatGPT owner OpenAI had knowledge that a transgender user in Canada was planning a mass shooting attack but failed to notify law enforcement, the parents of a young girl critically injured in the incident alleged in a civil lawsuit on Monday.
The mother of 12‑year‑old Maya Gebala, who remains hospitalized after the shooting in Tumbler Ridge on February 10 that left nine dead, stated in the lawsuit that the tech company failed to notify authorities about violent chat prompts from the shooter.
Jesse Van Rootselaar, the 18-year-old transgender shooter, committed suicide after killing several students in one of the worst incidents in Canadian history.
The lawsuit, filed in the British Columbia Supreme Court, alleges that OpenAI had “specific knowledge of the shooter utilizing ChatGPT to plan a mass casualty event like the Tumbler Ridge mass shooting” but did not alert law enforcement.
The claim states that Gebala was shot three times, sustaining a “catastrophic, traumatic brain injury” that caused permanent cognitive and physical disabilities, along with other serious medical complications.
OpenAI has said it considered reporting the user’s activity to police but ultimately did not. The company only provided information to authorities after the attack, noting that the shooter’s ChatGPT account had been closed but that Rootselaar evaded the ban by creating a second account. Continue…

U.S. Consulate in Toronto hit by gunfire
https://www.rebelnews.com/u_s_consulate_in_toronto_hit_by_gunfire
No injuries were reported after police said a pair of men exited a white Honda CRV before firing shots at the downtown Toronto consulate in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
A heavy police presence was visible in downtown Toronto, where police say a suspect fired shots at the U.S. consulate in the early hours of Tuesday morning.
Authorities say gunfire struck the building around 5:30 a.m. and follows similar instances of gunshots targeting synagogues in the city.
Speaking at a press conference, Toronto Police Deputy Chief Frank Barredo said two individuals got out of a white Honda CRV and fired what appeared to be a handgun at the consulate, located near University Avenue and Queen Street West.
The vehicle was last seen headed southbound on University, police added.
No injuries were reported, and as of now, the suspects remain unidentified.
“This cannot stand,” Toronto Mayor Olivia Chow said after the attacks on synagogues and now the American consulate.
“As we have seen too many times, antisemitic incidents spike when international tensions rise. It is never acceptable to target the Jewish community.”
Ontario Premier Doug Ford also spoke about the incident on Tuesday, calling it an “absolutely unacceptable act of violence and intimidation aimed at our American friends and neighbours.”
The shooting at the U.S. consulate in Toronto comes just days after an explosion at an American embassy in Norway was reported.
Norwegian police said the blast in Oslo, which only caused minor damage, may have been an act of terrorism.
LIVE: Former CBC host Travis Dhanraj testifies to Parliament against state broadcaster
https://www.rebelnews.com/live_former_cbc_host_travis_dhanraj_testifies_to_parliament_against_state_broadcaster
Dhanraj announced he was “forced” to retire by CBC in 2025 before launching a human rights complaint against the state broadcaster, alleging he experienced discrimination, harassment and bullying as a person of colour.
The former host of CBC's “Canada Tonight” program is shedding a light on issues he faced prior to his “forced” departure in 2025.
A video posted to YouTube last week detailed how Dhanraj is preparing to reveal details surrounding the events leading to his exit from CBC, which saw him launch a human rights complaint alleging he was on the receiving end of discrimination, harassment and bullying as a person of colour.
Dhanraj also claims the network was politically biased, particularly against Conservatives, something he suggested is driving the party's push to defund the taxpayer-funded broadcaster.
Further, he claimed two of CBC's most prominent faces, hosts Rosemary Barton and David Cochrane, personally targeted him for harassment.
“This was not a voluntary decision,” Dhanraj said of his departure from CBC. “It comes after trying to navigate a workplace culture defined by retaliation, exclusion, and psychological harm.”
He is expected to testify before the Standing Committee on Canadian Heritage around 11 a.m ET (9 a.m. MT).
Fr. Ripperger: Mary, the Mother of God can convert corrupt Church leaders
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/fr-ripperger-mary-the-mother-of-god-can-convert-corrupt-church-leaders/
During exorcisms, demons have revealed to Fr. Chad Ripperger that some of the Catholic Church’s leadership is ‘very morally compromised, and some of it is involved in stuff that’s very dark.’
Exorcist Father Chad Ripperger told former U.S. Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan that the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God, is the one who can convert corrupt Church leaders.
During a four-hour interview on The Shawn Ryan Show, Ripperger affirmed that during his exorcisms demons at times have called out the sins of people “very high up within the Catholic Church.”
“They’ve talked about very specific details” about sins that members of the Church hierarchy have committed, Ripperger said. “And it’s not just me. Other exorcists also get bits and pieces of this stuff.”
Demons have even revealed the names of these corrupt Church clergy to Ripperger and other exorcists, he shared.
Ripperger also shared that some people “within the Vatican” are displeased with his work. Asked by Ryan why this would be the case, he replied, “If you’re involved in sins that are particularly egregious, you’re not going to want someone like me out there trying to teach people the faith and how to fight the good fight and become more knowledgeable about their faith.”
Besides his exorcism work, Ripperger has frequently preached about spiritual warfare and the spiritual life in general. Many of his talks can be found on the Sensus Fidelium YouTube channel. He also has his own YouTube channel, Sensus Traditionis. Continue…
Fr. Ripperger: Mark of the beast will be the ‘inversion’ of baptism
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/fr-ripperger-mark-of-the-beast-will-be-the-inversion-of-baptism/
In contrast to the consecration of Christ through baptism, the Mark of the Beast will require ‘some type of renunciation of Christ,’ according to Fr. Ripperger.
Exorcist Father Chad Ripperger shared in a recent interview that the Mark of the beast will be an “inversion of the Mark of Baptism.”
The priest explained to former U.S. Navy SEAL Shawn Ryan on his show that, through Baptism, “God infuses a quality in the person’s soul which is a mark.”
The Catechism of the Catholic Church notes that this spiritual mark, which is “indelible” (impossible to remove), “seals the Christian” with the character “of his belonging to Christ.”
Fr. Ripperger affirmed this, telling Ryan that during the Sacrament of Baptism in the Catholic Church, chrism is signed as a cross on the forehead “as an indicator that this person has been consecrated to Christ through his baptism.”
“The Mark of the Beast is going to be an inversion of that,” said Fr. Ripperger, suggesting that instead of signifying that one belongs to Jesus Christ, the Mark will signify that one belongs to the Antichrist and rejects Christ. He explained that, according to the Church Fathers, one will not be able to receive the Mark without “some type of renunciation of Christ.”
This means it will involve the acceptance of something they “know is contrary to the will of God and to the will of Christ,” he added. Continue…
Since 2019, It’s Legal for Media to Lie in Canada: Unpacking the Change
https://breaking-news.ca/since-2019-in-canada-its-legal-for-media-to-lie-to-you-what-happened-in-2019/
In the world of journalism, truth has always been our north star. But what happens when the laws meant to protect that truth get quietly erased? That’s the question I set out to answer after hearing claims that, since 2019, Canadian media can legally spread lies without criminal repercussions. It sounded alarming, so I dove into court records, parliamentary bills, and historical precedents to get the full picture.
Let’s start with the basics. For over a century, Canada’s Criminal Code included Section 181, a provision that made it a crime to “wilfully publish a statement, tale or news that he knows is false and that causes or is likely to cause injury or mischief to a public interest.” Violators could face up to two years in prison. This law traced its roots back to 13th-century England, designed originally to shield the powerful from slander. In Canada, it was rarely used, but it hung there as a potential check on blatant falsehoods.
Criminal Code of Canada: 9798841122593: Canada, Government of, Law Books, DGR: 圖書
The turning point came in 1992 with the case of R. v. Zundel. Ernst Zundel, a notorious Holocaust denier, was charged under Section 181 for publishing materials like “Did Six Million Really Die?” The Supreme Court of Canada struck down the law, ruling it violated Section 2(b) of the Charter of Rights and Freedoms—our guarantee of freedom of expression. The court argued the provision was too vague and overbroad, potentially chilling legitimate speech. From that moment, Section 181 was effectively dead, though it lingered in the code like a ghost.
Fast forward to 2019. Despite being unconstitutional for decades, the section wasn’t formally removed until Bill C-75, An Act to amend the Criminal Code and other laws, received royal assent on June 21, 2019. This omnibus bill cleaned up various “zombie laws”—provisions invalidated by courts but still on the books. Section 181 was finally repealed, aligning the code with the Charter. Critics argue this removal symbolized a shift, making it “legal” to spread false news without criminal penalty, even if civil remedies like defamation suits remain.
Canada media guide – BBC News
But does this mean media can lie freely? Not entirely. Broadcasters are still bound by CRTC regulations, which prohibit airing “any false or misleading news.” A 2011 proposal to loosen this—allowing false news unless it endangered public safety—was met with public outcry and withdrawn. So, for TV and radio, standards hold. Online and print media, however, face fewer direct criminal barriers, relying on ethics codes and lawsuits.
Digging deeper, I found this change fits into broader debates on free speech versus misinformation. In an era of social media echo chambers, removing outdated laws might protect expression, but it also raises concerns about unchecked disinformation. As one legal expert noted, the repeal reinforces Charter protections but underscores the need for media literacy.
What does this mean for Canadians? We’re left to discern truth ourselves, armed with skepticism and fact-checking tools. The media’s responsibility hasn’t vanished—it’s just not backed by this particular criminal stick anymore.
