During a press conference in the Oval Office, Trump told reporters that Cuba is “very weakened,” noting that its “very violent” regime has destroyed the country.

“All my life, I’ve been hearing about the United States and Cuba. You know, when will the United States do it?”

This comes as the Department of Justice is preparing to charge Communist Cuban leaders in cases related to drugs or violence.

Cuba also faced a nationwide blackout after Trump cut off the flow of oil by threatening tariffs on any country that provides oil to Cuba through an Executive Order.

Meanwhile, as The Gateway Pundit recently reported, U.S. Southern Command announced new operations with the Ecuadorian military against narco-terrorists in South America and is still surging troops to the region.

Trump told Fox’s Peter Doocy that Cuba is “talking to us” but declined to say whether he plans to use the military to invade Cuba as he did in Venezuela in January.

The attack came hours after Afghan officials said the two sides exchanged fire along their common border, killing four people in Afghanistan, as the deadliest fighting between the neighbors in years entered a third week.

It was on Feb. 27 that Pakistan's Defense Minister Khawaja Asif declared an "all-out war" on Afghanistan, and began bombing border regions as well as the capital of Kabul.

Pakistan's army has total force domination; however, the Taliban can still inflict pain through acts of terrorism, which Pakistani cities have suffered immensely under.

Acts of terror by Islamist groups have become almost a regular occurrence in Pakistan - with many suspected of having support through Afghanistan, which is precisely what Islamabad has cited as a key rationale for the war.

But now, China is seeking to directly coordinate de-escalation, reportedly attempting to broker a ceasefire between the two neighbors.

A woman needing emergency care ended up waiting an extremely long time to see medical staff at a Canadian hospital, a common occurrence under the country’s socialist healthcare system.

Thirty-seven-year-old Amanda Gushue was suffering from a swollen appendix and her primary care physician told her to go to the emergency room, Fox News reported Monday.

She arrived and was eventually sent to the waiting room, where information on a screen informed her it would be from five to fifteen hours before she could speak with a medical professional.

Gushue, who lives in Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, ended up waiting another 10 to 12 hours.

She described the situation to Fox, stating, “There were probably about 150 seats, and they were all full. This is what we deal with when we go to the hospital on a regular basis — you’re looking at spending a full day there,” adding there are lots of nurses but not enough doctors to see patients.

She also said an elderly woman who was bleeding from her head was forced to wait for two hours.

Video footage from her hours in the waiting room showed the elderly woman holding a white bandage on her head. The video then zoomed in on the television screen which said “Longest wait time to see a doctor or nurse 15 hrs – 30 mins.”

India arrests Ukrainians and American for alleged terror training – media

India’s anti-terrorism agency has arrested six Ukrainians and an American for alleged links with insurgents in Myanmar.

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has taken the group into custody for questioning, with a Delhi court ordering their detention until March 27, the New Indian Express (NIE) reported on Tuesday.

The NIA is probing their alleged illegal entry into India and involvement in terrorist activities in the restive north-eastern part of the country. According to the report, three of the Ukrainian citizens were arrested in Delhi, and the rest in the northern Indian city of Lucknow.

The US citizen was arrested in the eastern city of Kolkata.

The NIA suspects that the foreign nationals entered Mizoram in India’s north-east, before crossing over to Myanmar, where they allegedly came in contact with ethnic insurgent groups linked to violence in India. The group are also accused of bringing a large consignment of drones from Europe, according to the NIE report.

The federal government announced in 2024 that a national counter-terrorism policy and strategy were being drafted to counter the terrorist ecosystem.

Following the terror attack in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir in April last year, the NIA held discussions with anti-terrorism units from all states to brief them on steps aimed at preventing such attacks.

Terrorist cells operating from abroad tap the infrastructure, logistics, and terrain knowledge of local groups, according to a policy document from the Indian Home Ministry.
