Netanyahu says he ‘wouldn’t take out life insurance’ on Mojtaba Khamenei

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said he “wouldn’t take out any life insurance” on Iran's new supreme leader Mojtaba Khamenei or Hezbollah leader Naim Qassem when asked about the fate of the two leaders during his first press conference as the war with Iran entered its 13th day.

Netanyahu said Israel was “crushing” the Islamic Republic and its regional proxies.

“We are crushing the terror regime in Iran. We are striking and defeating its proxies – Hezbollah in Lebanon,” he said. (The terror regime of the Middle East Israel, is defeating all countries that challenge Israel!)

“Hezbollah is feeling our force, and it will feel it even more so. It will pay a very heavy price for its aggression,” Netanyahu added.

He said cooperation between Israel and the United States had produced major military achievements.

“Through an unprecedented joining of forces between Israel and the United States, we have achieved tremendous accomplishments —achievements that are changing the balance of power in the Middle East and even beyond it,”Netanyahu said.

(It was never about enemies, it was taking power. Israel in the US’s shadow is calling themselves a superpower; while Israel uses our resources and money. Enough with this faux leader that says he wants peace! He only wants power, fortunately God exists and won’t allow it. Bibi is the new Hitler in our time, and no one recognizes it. His mission to raise up the Jews, believing they are still the chosen people, but his goal is to eliminate all races. If people don’t understand listen to him target allies as enemies. PS: Bibi is not even a Jew.)

Cuba's President Miguel Díaz-Canel confirms talks with the U.S.

Cuba's president said the conversations are focused on "finding solutions to bilateral differences" as the country grapples with a lack of fuel following the U.S. attack on Venezuela.

HAVANA — Cuban President Miguel Díaz-Canel confirmed talks between the U.S. and Cuba during a speech Friday. It was the first time Cuba's government has publicly acknowledged the current talks.

"These conversations are focused on findingsolutions to bilateral differenceswe have between the two nations through dialogue," he said.

Díaz-Canel added there are "international factors that have facilitated these exchanges."

He said the purpose of these conversations isfirst to identify bilateral problemsthat need a solution according to their level of gravity and to “find solutions to those problems that have been identified.”

The confirmation of the meetings between the two countries follows comments from President Donald Trump and other top officials about the communist country. Over the past several weeks,Trump has repeatedly stated the U.S. and Cuba are holding high-level conversations, and he has also said that Cuba is going to "fall."

Díaz-Canel said Cubahas been willing to have these conversations "on the basis of equality and respect for both countries' political systems, sovereignty and self-determination of our governments."

Díaz-Canel spoke aboutthe dire situation in the country due to fuel shortages, saying fuel shipments have not arrived to the island in three months. He acknowledged that there have been areas of the country that have had electricity blackouts for over 30 hours, affecting water pumping and impacting all economic and social activities. He said thatthere are tens of thousands of people, including children, whose surgerieshave been delayed due to a lack of electricity. (Cuba sent all the doctors to other South American countries years ago to make money for Cuba, that’s a bullshit they take care of the people.)

Díaz-Canel has previously said the last shipment of oil arrived in December, before the U.S. attacked Venezuela and captured former President Nicolás Maduro on Jan. 3. Trump has also blocked oil shipments to Cuba.

The lack of fuel has aggravated an economic crisis on the island, that was already years in the making. Power outages are now over 30 hours long in some parts of the country.

Cuba’s Foreign Ministry also announced in a press release on Thursday nightthey will release 51 prisoners in the coming days in the spirit of goodwill and cited Cuba’s close relationship with the Vatican. The prisoners have served a significant part of their sentence, he said, and have maintained good conduct. The names of the prisoners were not released.

The Vatican has facilitated or mediated in negotiations between the U.S. and Cuba in previous occasions.Cuba’s Foreign Minister, Bruno Rodriguez, recently met with Pope Leo at the Vatican.(The Pope hates Trump, that’s weird. Are Cuban leaders Catholic?)

(Any Cuban leaders should go to college for economics, it’s ridiculous they don’t even use the real assets of the Island for the economy. Cuban would be rich if they allowed people around the world there for tourism.)

Judge VanDyke: "This is a case about swinging dicks."

30 members of the Ninth Circuit write to disagree.

JOSH BLACKMAN | 3.12.20261/2THIS IS FUNNY!

The Ninth Circuit denied rehearing en banc Olympus Spa v. Armstrong. Judge VanDyke wrote the lead dissent, which begins this way:

This is a case about swinging dicks. The Christian owners of Olympus Spa— a traditional Korean, women-only, nude spa—understandably don't want them in their spa=. Their female employees and female clients don't want them in their spa either. But Washington State insists on them. And now so does the Ninth Circuit. You may think that swinging dicks shouldn't appear in a judicial opinion. You're not wrong. But as much as you might understandably be shocked and displeased to merely encounter that phrase in this opinion, I hope we all can agree that it is far more jarring for the unsuspecting and exposed women at Olympus Spa— some as young as thirteen—to be visually assaulted by the real thing. Sometimes, it feels like the supposed adults in the room have collectively lost their minds. Woke regulators and complicit judges seem entirely willing, even eager, to ignore the consequences that their Frankenstein social experiments impose on real women and young girls.

As you could imagine, this line infuriated Judge VanDyke's colleagues.

Judge McKeown issued a statement that was joined by twenty-eight members of her Court (the Ninth Circuit has fifty-one total active and senior status judges):

McKEOWN, Senior Circuit Judge, joined by MURGUIA, Chief Judge, HAWKINS, S.R. THOMAS, GRABER, FLETCHER, PAEZ, BERZON, CLIFTON, BYBEE, and HURWITZ, Senior Circuit Judges, WARDLAW, GOULD, RAWLINSON, M. SMITH, CHRISTEN, NGUYEN, FRIEDLAND, MILLER, KOH, SUNG, SANCHEZ, H.A. THOMAS, MENDOZA, DESAI, JOHNSTONE, and DE ALBA, Circuit Judges, respecting the denial of rehearing en banc:

The American legal system has long been regarded as a place to resolve disputes in a dignified and civil manner or,as Justice O'Connor put it, to "disagree without being disagreeable."1 It is not a place for vulgar barroom talk.Nor is it a place to suggest that fellow judges have "collectively lost their minds," or that they are "woke judges[]" "complicit" in a scheme to harm ordinary Americans. Thatlanguage makes us sound like juveniles, not judges, and it undermines public trustin the courts. The lead dissent's use of such coarse language and invective may make for publicity or entertainment value, but it has no place in a judicial opinion.

The lead dissent ignores ordinary principles of dignity and civility and demeans this court. Neither the parties nor the panel dissent found it necessary to invoke such crude and vitriolic language.Decorum and collegiality demand more.(KEK a bit haughty)

Traders are continuing to monitor developments in the Middle East, where the U.S. and Israel’s war with Iran is soon to stretch into a third week. Overnight, President Donald Trump hinted that an end to the conflict was not imminent.

“We have unparalleled firepower, unlimited ammunition, and plenty of time,” he said, before calling on his followers to “watch what happens” to the Iranian regime on Friday.

On Friday morning, Axios reported that Trump had claimed on a call with G7 leaders earlier this week that Iran was “about to surrender.” A day later, Iran’s new supreme leader, Mojtaba Khamenei, vowed to keep fighting in a message delivered via state television.

A number of foreign ships in or near the Strait of Hormuz, a critical oil shipping route that has seen a blockade amid the escalating conflict, have been struck by ammunition this week. The attacks fed into concerns that a prolonged war could translate to a global economic shock.

“Get ready for oil to be $200 a barrel, because the oil price depends on regional security, which you have destabilised,” Ebrahim Zolfaqari, spokesperson for Iran’s military command, said on Wednesday, according to Reuters.Fucking greedy liars
