They knew he had the insurance files on his computer, but needed them entered in to investigative evidence legally

She was a setup

NYPD swooped in, took the laptop, copied the files, and handed them off to Q Team

They had all this shit waaaay before that, but would only have been able to be released via Wikileaks or something like that

Which would have been immediately discredited by the MSM
