It's why I have little respect for trying to imitate 'divine phenomena' through reverse engineering, such as AI attempting to imitate thought.
Trying to isolate phenomena, to remove it from the context in which it exists, is like cutting the power cord off a computer to make it portable (and expecting it will still work).
