Anon has always hated realtors, because they do their absolute best to prevent buyers and sellers from talking.
The seller KNOWS how everything works, where utilities are buried, where you should keep an eye out for little problems that creep up, which neighbors to keep at arm's distance, etc.
That information has value that real estate agents are more than happy to toss in the trash for the sake of an easy commission.
