Pentagon Identifies Six Air Force Personnel Killed in Military Plane Crash

The Department of Defense on Saturday evening identified the six Air Force personnel who died when a KC-135 crashed in Western Iraq earlier this week.

In a statement posted to the Pentagon website, the department identified the six as Airmen who were supporting Operation Epic Fury.

They’ve been identified as:

Maj. John A. Klinner, 33, of Auburn, Alabama

Capt. Ariana G. Savino, 31, of Covington, Washington Tech. Sgt. Ashley B. Pruitt, 34, of Bardstown, Kentucky

Capt. Seth R. Koval, 38, of Mooresville, Indiana

Capt. Curtis J. Angst, 30, of Wilmington, Ohio Tech.

Sgt. Tyler H. Simmons, 28, of Columbus, Ohio
