Six years ago today, “15 Days to Slow the Spread” began, and in many ways it never really ended. Covid Karens never snapped out of it and stand as a constant reminder of how deeply fear, hysteria, and coercion were drilled into society.
It is worth remembering not only that the whole thing was a deliberate lie from day one, as Deborah Birx later admitted they had zero evidence about anything and were just making stuff up to get Trump to agree, but also that the worst policies were buried in the fine print, hoping Trump would not notice.
They literally printed a glossy brochure and hid the operative part in a tiny footnote on the back page, specifically the part ordering the closure not just of schools, but also of shops, malls, gyms, bars, restaurants, and every indoor and outdoor venue where people might gather. The whole thing was a massive crime against humanity, and no one has ever been held to account.

Democrat Sen. Catherine Miranda seriously said this:

Here are some of the more jaw-dropping lines from today’s opening plenary of the Cuba Under Siege conference at the CUNY Graduate Center.
What was advertised as a “US-Cuba Normalization” conference quickly turned into anti-American agitprop, praise for the Cuban Revolution, and open rhetorical alignment with Iran.
Speakers tied Cuba directly to Iranian military action and cast both as part of a wider anti-American front that also included Palestine and Venezuela.
Other remarks called the U.S. government “the number one terrorist in the world,” described the end of the U.S. “empire” and urged activists to “speed up the end in every way possible,” even invoking Che Guevara’s call to create “1, 2, 3 Vietnams.”
