a tween person I know asked why Mollie Tibbetts story was on all of the national news show when people go missing all of the time. I found this interesting, especially given the lack of details being shared in this case and went poking around. They are in Iowa, Comey was in Iowa about a month before this happened and her father works at HOK which is involved in some interesting development projects that span all sorts of subjects all over the world. And it is hard to find information directly on the father like it has been scrubbed. Lots of citations of HOK though when doing a FOIA search on the govt sites. Then this popped up in the last bread:
