Over the past year, even before the war with Iran, there were concrete warnings about possible attacks on Israeli ambassadors around the world. This occurred in countries with large Muslim immigrant populations. In some cases, threatened ambassadors were forced to leave their homes and move to safe apartments for extended periods. Some were even evacuated for varying lengths of time outside their host countries.
Threats against Israeli diplomats serving abroad have intensified since the start of Operation Roaring Lion. Iran, which has so far failed to inflict heavy losses on the Israeli home front, is seeking ways to strike Israeli symbols that could deliver propaganda victories. According to media reports, Iran has begun activating sleeper terror cells around the world with the aim of assassinating Israeli diplomats and targeting Jewish and Israeli communities.

Israel Killed Over a Dozen Lebanese Paramedics in Three Days, Now Claiming That Ambulances Are “Hezbollah” Targets
Among the most targeted groups of Israel’s expanded war on Lebanon have been medical workers. Hezbollah’s Islamic Health Authority has been the hardest hit.
In early October 2025, Lebanese paramedic Haj Qassem Sultan stood outside Marjayoun Government Hospital in southern Lebanon and addressed Lebanese TV.
“Our message is clear. Even if we are killed one by one, we will not abandon our duty,” he said. “We will continue to serve Khiam and Marjayoun and Al-Taybeh and Debbine and all of our sacred land.”
He was attending a memorial for seven of his colleagues who were killed exactly one year earlier in an Israeli airstrike on ambulances parked outside the hospital. Five other paramedics, including Sultan, were wounded in the attack, in what human rights groups said was an apparent war crime.
On Friday, Sultan was killed in another Israeli strike on an Islamic Health Authority (IHA) medical center in Burj Qalaouiyah in southern Lebanon’s Bint Jbeil District. The bombing destroyed the facility, killing 12 people, including on-duty doctors, paramedics, nurses, and three patients.
The majority of the victims worked with the IHA, a healthcare and emergency service provider affiliated with Hezbollah that operates rescue and medical services in Beirut’s southern suburbs and across much of southern Lebanon and the Bekaa Valley.
Sultan “was very loved, very respected,” IHA spokesperson Mahmoud Karaki told Drop Site News. “He was always present among the people. Everyone knew him.”
The day after the attack, Israel doubled down on its attacks on emergency workers with its military spokesperson, claiming without evidence that Hezbollah was making “military use of medical facilities and ambulances” and that occupation forces would target them if they did not cease.
A strike on Monday on a house in Kfar Sir, just north of the Litani River killed one person. When an ambulance from the IHA arrived, a second strike killed two paramedics and wounded another, according to the state-run National News Agency. Two more IHA ambulances were targeted on Monday in separate strikes, killing four more paramedics.
“Some of our personnel have been killed at our medical centers, others while they were out in the field, trying to pull people out from under the rubble,” he said. “The exact place they went to do their rescue work was targeted again once they arrived,” he added, a tactic known as a double tap strike.

Afghanistan accuses Pakistan of killing 400 in hospital strike

Afghanistan has accused Pakistan of conducting an airstrike on a drug rehabilitation facility in Kabul, which Taliban officials said killed at least 400 people.
Pakistan has been striking alleged terrorist camps in Afghanistan since February, accusing the Taliban government of supporting attacks on Pakistani soil. The Taliban has denied any involvement in the string of terrorist attacks in Pakistan.
Taliban government spokesman Hamdullah Fitrat said the strike on Monday evening destroyed large sections of the Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital.
“Unfortunately, the death toll has so far reached 400, while around 250 others have been reported injured,” Fitrat wrote on X.
Pakistan’s Information Ministry rejected the allegations as “false and misleading.”
The ministry said Pakistan targeted military sites and “terrorist support infrastructure,” including ammunition depots in Kabul and Afghanistan’s northeastern Nangarhar region.
“This misreporting of facts as a drug rehabilitation facility seeks to stir public sentiment while covering illegitimate support for cross-border terrorism,” the ministry wrote on X.

AP and Reuters reported earlier that a strike on Monday evening hit the top floor of the Al-Rasheed Hotel in the Green Zone, which houses government buildings and the US Embassy.

Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Saeed Khatibzadeh warned that a potential US ground invasion of Iran would be defeated.
“Just read what happened in Vietnam,” the diplomat told Sky News in an interview aired on Monday. He argued that American troops would face a similar fate in Iran.
“They understand that those who dragged them into this war can also drag them into a quagmire,” he said.
