Yes, I actually brought that up to him that the pain had been so unbearable, I'd actually thought of trying pot, trying to make him understand how horrific it was cuz he knew I'd NEVER do anything illegal! He said I wish you'd lighten up about it cuz it'd probably help in many ways. I said it's illegal. He said it was medicinally legal but didn't offer an RX, just went back to trying to convince me to have a pain pump put in which I rejected as I'd been given hope of maybe walking again after a series of operations of lengthened tendons & releasing everything else. The neurologist tests showd improvement but much nerve damage still remains but I still have hope of the rest being removed & if I can get back on my feet after a long road of PT, some of the pain may be alleviated! This doc tries pushing pain pumps on all of his patients! I sometimes wonder how much he gets for each! If I DO get lucky enough to find new doc who's willing to prescribe marijuana, I will try it! I can't try it now tho cuz it'd be illegal & chances are if I find somewhere, theyll probably do drug testing! Thank all of you for the compassion, advice, encouragement & efforts to help! It's appreciated more than you know!
