The Aztecs knew about geopolymers. That was discovered when the archaeologists got inside that temple (Chitzen Itza?) and found there were four temples on the same site, layered over each other. The outer one was interesting, the stone wasn't carved at set, it had been cast
IIRC there was the Chinese thing where some dude built a huge junk and sailed away. Centuries later there's the big stone carvings done by the Inca and the faces sure look Asian to me.
